The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The room was very clean and spacious — especially after a long night of travel and delayed flight (we arrived at the hotel at 1:30am). Mr. Brian was very attentive, generous and helpful in our check-in process. Mr. Brian also helped my fiancé and I book a 1-day cruise in Ha Long Bay, as well as the shuttle service to and from the Hanoi airport. Staff is so friendly and polite! The breakfast had a variety of entrees, fresh fruit, juices, bread and a salad bar — one of the best I’ve had in my time being in Vietnam.

Staff were very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. One of the staff even posted a postcard for me as I was leaving Hanoi that day and organised a tour for us with little notice.

The fact the hotel is spread over a few buildings should be mentioned on the booking.com website. The neighbourhood can be a bit intimidating but it is a city centre location and very close to everything. Some of the bread at breakfast was stale but otherwise enjoyable and varied.

I stayed here for a night and i experienced exceptional hospitality, well-maintained facilities, and a memorable experience. Mr Brian is so helpful. You ask him something and he arranges everything for you in less than 10 mns. I will sit with you for 10 mns on arrival and will explain yoh everything about the hotel and the tourists spots in the area. I had to catch early morning flight and he even gave a food packets and fruit for our breakfast to carry. Every staff is just so helpful. Will definitely return.

Stayed 3 nights at S central hotel and we all had an amazing experience. The hotel is located in a quiet side street, right in the middle of the Old Quarter, with everything within walking distance. All our rooms had aircon, comfortable beds and pillows, and large modern bathrooms with great water pressure. All the staff on the Imperial team were professional and friendly and gave great advice on restaurants, cafes and tourist sights to ensure we experienced Hanoi in its fullest. I recommend booking the trip from Hanoi to Hagiang with the VIP bus with Ding - Customers services at hotel which is incredibly gorgeous and this activity nailed it on the head. Ding were great at organizing the trip, and very helpful with all our needs. 10/10 recommend the trip. Will come back if ever in Hanoi!

It was our second time staying at the Splendid Star Hotel and Spa and just once again had a really great stay. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and the manager also upgraded us to a bigger room for free. The staff really go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible. The hotel is very well located in old quarter and close to all attractions. When we visit Hanoi in the future we will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone. Thank you

The hotel is in an excellent location in the Old quarter close to everything, with lots of life but in a quiet street. The most remarkable thing, however, is the excellent attention of all the staff. I would like to highlight Mr. Ding Dong- his kindness, professionalism and help to the passengers. We stayed many days in various stages and everything was always easy thanks to Ding who helped us to organize excursions for Ha Long bay and Special Beautiful tour through the rice fields of Sa Pa. We were a small group and were able to adjust our pace perfectly. Our guide was able to answer all of our questions, spoke great English and was very nice. We got our own room in the homestay and there are a few bars in the town with a great view, also book transfers, etc. at very reasonable prices with very good service. We enjoyed our stay with them very much. Very good value for money.

The hotel is conveniently located, room are wide and clean but not very new. Breakfast is abundant and very good. I enjoyed an awesome Vietnamese massage at a good price to be in a hotel. Hotel staff was super-friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Ding who also managed to give us our room early which was much appreciated after a long trip. We booked the tour to Ban Gioc Waterfall with hotel - which is very well organized. Pick-up and transport went smoothly. Sufficient meals and water are provided. the tour guide is patiently answered all questions and gave a lot of information about the culture and landscape. There was enough time for the sights and you were not rushed. It was also interesting to see places that are mostly visited by locals and have not yet been discovered by "all" tourists. The tour takes you into the hinterland and through villages that you would otherwise probably not see very often. For Ha Long Bay, we struggled if we should do the two day tour or the one day trip. In the end, after discuss with Ding, we decided to go on the one day trip and didn't regret it. We had an absolutely amazing day with a great lunch on board, incredible views and a great time on board. Furthermore Ding has given to us got so many interesting insights about Hanoi, vietnamese food, Ha Long Bay... He made the tour a trip to remember. We recommend to book at hotel to have a perfect day.

We have been very happy for our stay at the S central hotel and spa! You definitely get value for money as the location, our room, the cleaning and service was great. This is our first visit in Vietnam/Hanoi. We were welcomed by David, very professional and service-minded person. David helped us with everything like trips and locations to visit in and around Hanoi. At the same time, David upgraded our room as we had a lot of luggage with us - we were so happy for this treatment. Also a very big thank you to Dong - polite, friendly and very helpful person. Thank you to the whole staff. Overall a very good stay for us and we can definitely recommend the hotel.

Nothing, everything was great.

We had a lovely stay at S central hotel. When we arrived we were told we’d been upgraded to a family room which was very spacious, decorated to a high standard, true to photos and fully equipped. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet in a very peaceful street. Location was excellent, walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and sky bars! Mr Harry was particularly pleasant to deal with.

The breakfast finished quite early at 9:30am and was adequate but not delicious, but we appreciated that it was included in the price of the room

The staff were so enthusiastic and helpful. It reminded us of the film The marigold Hotel but in a good way. We were upgraded and as a group of 6 we were so grateful and really appreciated having bigger rooms. We organised a trip with Halong-bay-cruises through the hotel for 2 days/1 night and that worked really well and the hotel staff even re organised our trip due to bad weather so that we missed the rain. As we were coming back to the hotel we were also able to leave our luggage in their storage locker. Breakfast was good and included in our package with a mix of Asian & Western food. Very close to city centre.

The hotel breakfast room had steps down to one of the sitting areas with a low ceiling and although they had a sign "mind your head" I always managed to forget with my first coffee of the day and managed to spill. I wasn't the only one as staff were constantly mopping the steps..the only other thing I would recommend is that you are given a welcome pack with all the information so that guests aren't overwhelmed with all the information on arrival at the reception desk. But I would definitely stay here again and recommend.
