The room was lovely and had everything we needed. Also very clean. Perfect location , Close to everything. Staff were so incredible! After check out, they let us leave luggage at the lobby, and also let us use the bathroom for a shower at the end of the day (after check out also) which was amazing as we were going on a night sleeper bus.

This is more to do with the location and the day we stayed - church bells were ringing all day on Sunday and unfortunately it could be heard. However I don't think there's any hotel in the old quarter that wouldn't have this issue. If you want the old quarter, it comes with the busy-ness and noise.

Just little things - the rain shower did not work, and the shower head was crusted and sprouting irregularly. I wanted an espresso for breakfast (there IS an espresso machine) and was kind-of-half-told that this is not part of normal breakfast and I had to have the coffee from the hot plate. Noodles for phô at breakfat ran out at 9 already (breakfast is served until 9:30) and were not replenished. Little things that can and should be better.

Spacious rooms, lovedddd the view of the dark church outside, staff were very accommodating, free umbrellas to use when it rains, gym was small with some weights but has aircon to keep it cool, they let us use the showers after checkout too, great location to walk around to everything.

The church bells on Sunday start at 4:30AM till 10PM, and will ring every 1-2 hours because they have multiple mass sessions. They are super loud if you're a light sleeper!

Amazing location, right around the corner from St. Joseph cathedral, quite littl street however you can hear the church bells. Easy walking distance to the old quarter with all its restaurants, bars, shops, bia hoi places etc. good breakfast - both Vietnamese (pho!=) and western very friendly and helpful staff!

some rooms in the lower floors are a bit dark

It was nyc staying as the location was excellent.

A recently refreshed and renewed hotel. When we shared it was our wedding anniversary - a bunch of roses appeared in the room! The hotel is right in the heart of the old quarter, close to the cathederal and the lake. In the street the local neighbours go about their business. The hotel is down a narrow street that does not allow car traffic which was great from both a noise and safety perspective. There are hundreds of restaurants nearby.

As you expect in the old quarter, the building is built to the very extremeties of the boundary. There was very little natural light in our room - which is OK for a few days, just dont expect to throw open the curtains for a bright and sunny view of Hanoi.

The location was banging close to everthing and there are plentiful things to do on the street. Thistle and hustle of hanoi is not smack bang on the street. This street has a calmness about it, easly cross the streets. Great team of staff well managed and willing to go an extra mile. This is my 3rd time in Hanoi and I would most definitely check myself in again. Great value for money

Staff was excellent and the location was also excellent for walking around the old quarter. The value for the cost was also worth it. Lastly, the breakfast was wonderful. Luckily i brought an electric adapter which was needed.

We changed our room after arriving because i had requested a room with two beds. Staff found another room for us quickly. I wanted to use the hot pot but the plug did not work in the room so staff brought another hot pot for us. It only plugged into one bedside outlet. The beds did not have pillows so staff brought pillows. Requested toilet paper the second day because none was left after staff cleaned the room. Despite the minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay after we adjusted our expectations a little. We would return if visiting the old quarter again.

It was fantastic! Such good value for money and an overall wonderful experience. 24/hr check in was also really helpful as we arrived at 1am and there were staff waiting for us.

Nothing, it was great! Although laundry is very expensive there so make sure to check the price list!

The hotel has a very good location in Old Town with innumerable cafés and boutiques everywhere around. The staff was efficient and helpful, and the breakfast was a delight. The room was clean and cozy. There may be cheaper options available but you can't go wrong with this one.

The neighbouring rooster would wake me up every morning at 5 am. While the rooms are fairly well soundproofed, you can hear anything in the corridor easily. The "fitness centre" is essentially a running mat and a few free weights so nothing to brag about. The laundry service is expensive.
