I saw a cockroach running around at night and it freaked me out. I didn't see it again though. Yet, it was enough to shatter my peace/sleep - that feeling of always having to look around. I hope they use Cockroach Repellents/Spray while cleaning and letting people in - in future. Drinking Water was not provided. If it were included that would have been great.

The staff were very helpful! Hanna is great! Our room was clean and comfortable! Each unit has a washing machine on the balcony, which is wonderful! Enough basic dishes and cookware to make your own meals. We bought an inexpensive dish drainer, a few more cooking utensils, and a couple of extra dish towels as we stayed for 10 weeks. Close to Lotte Mall with a large supermarket in the basement. Also, a small WinnMart down the alley--a few steps out the door. Try Jewel Diner down the road. Several bus stops nearby. The city busses are an inexpensive way to get around. We found that Google Map was usually very accurate in routes and times, often better than the Hanoi Bus app. We are headed back to Hanoi for another month and will stay at Joy Apartment Tay Ho again!

This apartment is stunning. Everything is new and clean, and it is a good size. The bedroom is separate and there is a living room area too. It is outside of the busy centre so you can get away from the craziness of old town! It is just a 10 minute taxi ride into town when you want to go. There are restaurants and cafes within walking distance, as well as the shopping mall. I loved it here.

The people across the alley are doing building work from 6.45am in the morning and it is very loud into the bedroom. Of course, I assume this will only be temporary until the building is finished.

This apartment was super nice, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. It was perfect for what I needed and reasonably priced. It’s not in the centre but if you have a bit more time in Hanoi or you don’t want to be in the centre this is perfect. And you can easily get around via grab. What made this stay enjoyable was Chloe who welcomed me for the check-in. She was so friendly and gave me the warmest welcome I have received in any of the places I’ve stayed in Vietnam. She was also super helpful and brought me a thicker blanket and some washing powder immediately. I highly recommend you to stay here.

quiet, nice and modern apartment, close to restaurants and Lotte Mall.

It's a bit far from the center and the tourist places, which can be good, if you don't like noise and motorcycles everywhere.

The apartment does benefit with kitchen, washing machine (dryer is also available), market close by and the huge mall in a walking distance. As well has good soudproof. Yes, bathroom should be refurbished a bit, but it haven't bothered us at all. Location is a bit far from the city, but closer to the airport. Win win.

TIP: Request second blanket if you are used to go to sleep under the huge one.

This apartment provides all kitchen utilities and rier and washer as well. The highway near the hotel was in construction so that it will beocme completed in an year. The northern lakeshore was good for sightseeing and walking. I walk up to the Hong River, which is seldom visited by tourists who normally visit the West Lake.

It was little hard to locate since it was not a formal hotel.

Excellent location. Park to do exercises right across. English speaking host. Let me stay a couple of hours later than check out. Will definitely come back here.

Very clean nice apartment, big smart TV, hot water, bath tub. Cooking area. Good location 10 minute walk to lotto mall, and in a quiet nice street. Good value for money. Highly recommend
