My boyfriend and I stayed at the Lucky Budda Inn Villa in Hanoi for a total of 5 nights. Through Jimmy, the owner, we were able to book our tours for the Ha Giang Loop and Ha Long Bay. Everything went smoothly. During the tours our luggage could always stay in the villa without any problems. We could also ask for advice in general at any time, We were able to hand in our laundry and get it back freshly washed on the same day. The rooms were clean and cozy. (We had different ones as we checked in and out multiple times because of our the tours). There was hot water for the shower, Netflix was set up on the TV and there were several options at breakfast to choose from, you could also make special requests at any time and were always asked if you wanted something else, a second coffee etc. We felt very welcome and cared for. We had a very pleasant stay here and would come back again.

Jimmy the Host and his Family were Brilliant!!! Very welcoming, communicative and Helpful. They allowed me to check in at 8 am and even upgraded my Room to Accommodate me 🙏🙂. I Cannot thank them enough!!! Jimmy gave me many ideas of where to go and is such a lovely guy!!! The Room was spacious and the bathroom was great with lovely hot water. An area upstairs on the roof with great views and a place to chill!!!

A kettle and fridge in the Room could be a great idea!!! It was just a little bit far from the Old town and centre for my liking. You could walk there if you are brave enough to cross a Huge bridge with a very narrow footpath and bikes whizzing past you! That's an adventure in itself but not for the faint-hearted! However saying that you Can get a Grab each way for about 60 - 80,000 Vnd.

This is a really great place with an unbelievably helpful host Jimmy. As soon as we arrived he sat us down and showed us everything we could possibly want in the area on Google maps. The room was fantastic with a great balcony, clean and all the amenities you could want. The roof top garden is beautiful! The area itself is perfect, much quieter than Ancient town and much cleaner. You really feel like one of the locals. We felt incredibly welcomed during our entire stay. I recommend staying this side of the river from Ancient town, you can easily walk across the bridge in 20 minutes to look around ancient town and walk back to escape the madness whenever you like!

Lucky Budda Inn Villa is in an excellent location, close to the city, but in a quiet area of Long Bien. We walked across the Long Bien Bridge over the Red River and into the city with our 3 kids aged 12, 10 and 7. The hosts Jimmy and Ruby are very welcoming and friendly, along with their children and the kids happily played together. They arranged a marvellous tour of Halong Bay for us with a terrific tour group. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light and pretty views. I would highly recommend Lucky Budda Inn Villa and I would definitely stay here again.

- in the pictures the swimming pool looks like it’s inside by actually it’s outside - it might be a thing when you travel to Hanoi in the winter

Jimmy was really helpful from start to finish , quite tricky to find as its behind locked gates and no sign in the alley. Really friendly staff , organised us a taxi to the airport, a good breakfast on the roof top 👌

Amazing place to stay, the owner Jimmy is extremely friendly and helpful, we went fishing on the river which is a 30 second walk 😁 he recommended places where we could buy things and helped us out in every way. The indoor pool is very nice and refreshing to get out of the hot weather and the two rooftop areas are great, amazing views of the river and city, would definitely recommend and would 100% stay again 👍👍👍🇻🇳

Jimmy was very helpful, he borrowed us bikes to go around the city for free and gave us everything we asked for that we missed in the room. We got pancakes for breakfest and gave us some tips where to go in Hanoi. It was also possible to leave here luggage after check-out and get back later, even take a shower.

The surrounding are very local, not touristic, but nothing too scary. If you are a light-sleeper, it gets a bit noisy in the morning.

The facilities were great, with a pool and upstairs sitting area with a nice view. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The lovely lady that runs it organised buses and taxis for us and also let us leave some luggage behind for a couple weeks.

It does require a quick taxi ride to the centre as it’s on the other side of the river, but the taxis are nearby or can be organised by the hotel.

The room was very comfortable and big, hot water whenever, had a lovely balcony and there is a rooftop with wonderful views of Hanoi! The area is quiet but across river from Old Town. The staff are really lovely, even checked me in at 5am after long delays in sleeper bus. Definitely recommend.
