perfect location, well designed and furnished rooms and public area, excellent value for the money, friendly staff

I can not recommend room 801, 802, and 803 as they are directly under the breakfast area: from 6:30 am, you hear loud scratching caused by the chairs moved on the wooden floor.

The staff, the room, the location and the breakfast were all superb.

The deposit for the room - unnecessary and not taken by any other hotel we’ve stayed in around Vietnam. Also difficulty in it being repaid into our bank account.

Had an amazing stay at Cochin Sang. Location is superb, 1min walk from Ben Thanh and loads of restaurants, massage venues and shopping just outside the hotel. Staff are very professional and friendly right from when I contacted them through booking.com to enquire about early check in and late checkout due to late night flight back home. A big shout out to Jolie at reception who was a pleasure to deal with. The door men (there were 2 during my stay) were also very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and spacious. I needed a good sized room with a work desk as I needed to work a full day from the room. The internet was very stable and never dropped out. Initially the price seemed a bit steep compared to other hotels nearby but I am so glad I decided to splurge a bit and book here. Having stayed here, I do think it is value for money and you get what you pay for. I paid about $105 AUD for the night which included buffet breakfast and a 200,000VND voucher to use on food/beverage or at their sister hotel’s(Cochin Zen - easy 6min walk) massage service. Jolie helped me book a 90min deep tissue massage and 60min shampoo treatment (needed to kill some time after check out and before flight). Can not highly recommend the massage but especially the shampoo treatment with Thuy. I didn’t know what to expect with a 60min shampoo treatment but it included a detailed head and shoulder massage, hair wash, facial (cleanse and massage) and blow dry. Left feeling so relaxed and ready for a long flight home. They kept my luggage after check out and offered shower facilities to use before my flight too (on pool/sauna floor). Thank you Cochin team!

The presentation of the hotel from entry, to being welcomed by staff, to departure is impressive. The hotel reflects a sophisticated atmosphere, very professional and excellent customer service. The staff I had dealings with were of a high calibre, exceptionable in the arena of customer service. Management are have chosen well when hiring staff people like Kenny, Alex,Anne, Alley and Ellie, they provide an excellent customer service and make the hotel stand out from other hotels. More importantly the photos of website reflect the actual rooms unlike many other websites.

The bar fridge is actually not a fridge and does not function as one which is disapointing given cold water/drinks are essential in the warmer climate. A notation for management I found the showers that are located near pool area to become very slippery when soap on them and could result in a fall.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is strategically located near numerous dining options, with the night market situated right in front of the hotel.

Due to the hotel's proximity to the night market, it can become quite busy and noisy at night.

Amazing hotel right in the District 1, close to everything and pretty much walking distance to the main areas. Super clean and fresh, the room has everything we possibly needed including free drinks and snacks. Breakfast was great with so many options to choose from and it varies every day. Pool and rooftop was just heaven and a place we chilled at every day to have a break from the noise. Everyone was very friendly! We would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The rooms without window have an issue with noise, we could hear people coughing and showering as the room was looking at an internal void where all the bathrooms have a window to. A bit difficult to sleep after 6am because of this.

Jolie, Kim and Heeley on reception were particularly helpful, especially with our two young girls.

Breakfast was great but we ate dinner at the restaurant a couple of times and don’t think it showed the best of Vietnamese cuisine.

First of all the bed is really comfortable and although no windows the rooms were quiet and cool with nice air-conditioning. The breakfast was ok but gets boring after a few days, staff were super friendly in Jolie and Kent running a tight ship and couldn't fault anyone from the front desk to the cleaning girls who by the way do a great job. Water and chips and stuff were free which is not always the case in other hotels. Also this is a stone throw from the Ben than market but the best being a Australian is the Jackaroo bar straight across the road if watching sport particularly AFL is your thing, it's usually packed full of Aussies and offers a pub type atmosphere. And yes you can get a parmie

Probably the Luke warm showers which is probably the result of fellow guest having extra long showers 😁 maybe. But it did vary depending on what time of the day you showered but too late in the morning it got colder as late evening

This place is a little bit of 'posh' on a busy street 😁. I booked their best room and it was huge and not badly priced. The only thing I was worried about was It being on the first floor over a busy street BUT the sound is pretty well muffled out and I had a good sleep. The location meant that everywhere you would want to go (Palace / Reminants museum etc) was in walking distance. The room also included a floating breakfast for 1 morning and this was a very nice breakfast (you can see floating breakfast in their pics - it's exactly as shown). The roof top pool and 'jacuzzi' is excellent and I spent my first night up there getting drunk (beer is not the cheapest tho but the bar is fairly close 🤭). Staff are welcoming and polite. All in all, I enjoyed my stay. Oh yeah, room was clean and bed was huge and comfy. I had a bath in my room, a good strong shower and a very modern toilet that did absolutely everything for you including cleaning and drying 🤭🤣. The general breakfast (buffet) is a good breakfast with plenty of choice. What more can I say, good little hotel.

Loved everything at this little gem of a place. Located centrally to everything! As much as it's in the middle of a busy street, we hardly heard any noise once we got in. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. From the time we checked in after 9pm on a Wednesday night to the time we left. The place is clean, neat and tidy. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pillows are so comfortable, the bed is so spacious!! The shower was lovely. Top notch * they organised a beautiful birthday card and a tasty matcha cake for my husband (i had told them In advance the reason for our stay) The free mini bar in the room is a delight. They also gave us a voucher for a spa treatment at Cochin Zen. The breakfast is delicious and authentic Vietnamese dishes are available. The staff are polite, helpful and wonderful, I'll mention Jennifer and Diamond-Thank you for going over and above to help us organising for our departure. We will be returning and we are already recommending this beauty to others ♡

Other than the noise from repairs early in the morning and the dragging of chairs above our room, nothing to fault!!!
