I'm from India, it was my first solo trip in Vietnam, I'm lucky i booked this amazing hotel Me Gustas Downtown (clean & comfy bed) i paid ₹ 7,000 for 4 nights with good buffet breakfast, location was surprising INTL Airport is just 7 KM far, few Indian restaurant around where you will get Jain & pure vegetarian food, this is the perfect location to stay tourists from all backgrounds, many eateries, 24 hrs convenient stores, Spa, cafe shops & pubs around, Bui Vien Walking Street is just at 1 minute walking distance from hotel, i would recommend this Hotel Me Gustas Downtown to my friends-relatives and my big thanks to receptionists for providing useful information regarding sight seeings / shopping centres.

Hotel is situated 30 seconds walk from the famous Bui Vien street aka Backpacker's Street, where there are a lot of bars and a huge activity in the evenings. The breakfast is really great and pretty wonderful. The place is minutes walk from such sights like War Remnants Museum, Saigon Zoo/botanical garden and Notre-Dame Cathedral.

The main problem of the venue is its closeness to the most crowded and noisy street Bui Vien, which makes it almost impossible to sleep quietly if your room is facing that direction. Bear this in mind

The staff is the BEST! INCREDIBLY helpful people work here! Location could not be better! Large room w/large bed and all electrical devices met expectations.

The bathtub has handles inside of it that are very uncomfortable. Balcony was not clean.

Centrally located. Close to many eateries and Bui Vien Walking Street. Great location. Free wifi. Extremely comfortable bed.

You could hear the music playing from Bui Vien walking street. The bath tub is very steep so you’ve got a very big step to get out it, it could be difficult for some people. There was no one at reception on the morning that I checked out so I had to write a note and left the keys at reception.

The room was big and spacious, very clean and facilities worked find. Had a hot shower. The bed was also comfortable. Location was really good for food, night life and markets.

Was infested with ants. But nothing we haven't seen before and they tend to come and go. Just don't leave any food out. Accommodation could be cheaper.
