I stayed at Saigon Amigo Hotel as an affordable stay whilst seeing Ho Chi Minh City, and it is exactly what it says on the tin! It's a small room, with fridge and working AC. The staff were friendly and were always avaialble on whatsapp to answer any questions you may have. In regards to the location you are 30 seconds away from your nearest 7/11 Conveince Store, lots of ATMs nearby and more than this you are genuinely a 30 second walk away from the start of walking street, fortunately the quieter end then maybe 2 minutes away from the area of nightclubs and loud music,, the end near the hotel is more bars than clubs which was ideal for me. I'd highly recommend Saigon Hotel to anybody who asked, this was a fantastic stay and perfect for somewhere to get your head down whilst seeing Saigon! I also had them do a load of laundry for me on request and it was done quickly to a high standard and returned to me for 92p/KG of laundry.

The room as I paid for didn't have a window and was very small, but this is something I was fully aware of booking it and contributed to why it was so affordable for a solo traveller, this is just something someone booking it should know before travelling.

i had an amazing stay at this hotel for 3 nights. It was super clean and I felt completely safe throughout my visit. the location couldn’t be better, it’s right near all the main tourist spots: central market, ben thanh market, bus stops, bui vien street, making sightseeing super easy, plus, there’s a 24/7 convenience store (7eleven) just few steps away, which was really convenient, and the bed was incredibly comfortable and i loved how refreshing the shower was after a long day of exploring. Overall, this place is perfect if you're looking for friendly budget, comfort, convenience, and cleanliness stay. Highly recommend!!:)

this hotel was mostly great, but the staff left a lot to be desired, the staff were not so welcoming and seemed pretty inattentive, it felt like customer service wasn’t their priority, which was disappointing. however i didn’t mind their service, the place itself was already so nice nothin to complaints about.

Big room ( family room) with a balcony overlooking the pretty street below. Icy cold aircon. Very friendly and helpful staff who helped us book our onward travel, organised laundry at a good price and were quick to fix any problems. The hotel is in a great location for everything you’d want in the Pham Lao area.

Hot water in the bathroom was a bit hit and miss in the mornings but came good in the afternoons. Wifi on the 4th floor where we were was fairly weak and a bit patchy. Small inconveniences really.

My balcony room was spacious and kept clean with daily housekeeping. It had one queen and one single bed. Although the room seemed a little older, it was well-maintained. The staff provided exceptional service – a perfect 10/10. The hotel's location is excellent, right near numerous restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Highly recommended if you value tranquility, safety, cleanliness, and incredibly friendly staff.

The location was close to everything! Max of 15min walk. Loved that despite being in the middle of everything, there wasn't much noise (good soundproof walls?). Staffs were nice and friendly. The place is a bit hidden in the alley, so your taxi driver will have to stop by the road side. The room was nice and tidy (a bit of ware and tear of course but pretty well maintained). The ac is a slow starter but it'll eventually get there, have some patience. House keeping is great (we forgot to put our sign out for cleaning and asked them after the cleaning hours and they still did it for us....AWESOME SAUCE!)

Nothing, but whoever was cooking dinner that one night in the kitchen smelled so good, I really wanted to have some😅

I have been in Vietnam since 28th of March travelling from Hanoi to Ho Chi Min City and this is the best hotel we have stayed in on this trip. The hotel delivered on what was advertised not something I could say for our other bookings. There was a lift and the room was clean and well presented and serviced each day. The most impressive feature of the hotel was the level of service provided. We were well looked after and the assistance provided to get my grandson to the airport when he had to leave our group was outstanding. Friendly, helpful and caring doesn't praise their work enough. What a great location. The walking st is about 100 metres away and we easily walked to the market and other tourist attractions like the palace and war museum. There is a 7/11 nearby and a coffee shop. There are also numerous places to eat  We loved our time at this hotel

First of all, I am really impressed by the professional customer care of the owner and the staff. They're pretty polite and helpful in suggestions about tourist attractions, good coffee shops and local food nearby the hotel for us. • Good location, easy to find out, very close to Bui Vien walking street. I and my wife just stayed here only for 1 day for work, but I am sure that this is the great place to stay at HCMC. • The room is spacious with minimalist decor and convenient. We loved the cozy ambience here. The toilet is quite clean with the necessary basic items. All facilities are available. • Highly recommended this homestay to any traveller. And yes, I'll be back when I'm in HCMC.

The staff were very friendly and the location of the property was very accessible. The hotel room was really clean and the room was quite large compared to hotels I've tried in other Asian countries.

The alleyway outside of the hotel was not super clean but the hotel and its location with respect to nearby attractions and markets made up for it. Short walk away from famous places in HCMC.

The hotel is at the centre of Vietnam, and everything at stone's throw distance

The location of the hotel is perfect. Very centrally situated close to a main road & a 5 to 10 minute walk from Ben Thanh Market and the Bui Vien so-called 'walking street' (if you ignore the odd motor bike)or bar and nightclub circus, the hotel sits in a narrow alley jam packed with a host of great little restaurants and bars. The staff of the family-run hotel are only to eager to assist in any way they can. It is very reasonably priced and it would be hard to beat the location if you want to close to the action of Saigon's nightlife.

There are no meals available at the hotel but the hotel is also sandwiched amongst a wealth of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
