Good location and clean.

The Airconditioning controller doesn’t have auto fan mode , only Low and High fan mode. It should have low, medium, high and auto mode. It’s very strong fan sound after midnight even at low mode. It was noisy and cold even setting at temperature 26 Celsius after midnight. The breakfast restaurant should put a notice board for service timeline in stead that the staffs told guests the time for breakfast is over even at 9:23 AM which seems still early.

Limited choice of food for vegetarians for breakfast The chef attempted to make us some vegetarian dishes, but we were presented with dishes containing 'vegetarian shrimp' even though we had explained that we don't eat meat or fish! We eventually got actual vegetarian dishes after explaining exactly what ingredients to add

A very pleasant stay at the Muong Thanh Grand Hotel. All facilities were clean and spacious and the hotel is situated a short walk from the city's main attractions. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and served in a relaxed and spacious dining room.

If the bar had been a little more inviting with more atmosphere we would have finished the evening in there before retiring to bed, but that is a very minor point.

Liked the rooftop swimming pool, nobody was around daytime. Breakfast is excellent, however 70% of the food is Vietnamese ( i would have them for dinner for sure :) ). Room was spacious and quiet. Very close to most of the touristy places, lots of restaurants, cafes and food stalls are around.

The aircon was an old style one, couldnt set it for Eco mode, it blow our heads off, It would have been great to have proper reading bedside lights.

I had a lovely stay in this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and eager to assist. The room was a good size with an excellent shower and most importantly a quiet air con unit. I was lucky to be on the 11th floor so walked out of my room into the small but lovely swimming pool. I mostly had it to myself. The room was cleaned everyday and I got back to find chocolates left for me. Breakfast had lots of choice. I didn't go hungry. Great area to walk to museums etc.

The location was perfect, a comfortable walk to most attractions. The rooms were a good size and well maintained.

More selection of cereals would have been good at breakfast. There was some confusion with the restaurant staff one lunch time, after going through options that wouldn't have meat - with both items coming out with meat in them. Chef remade both the rolls and salad but after waiting almost half an hour, I needed to leave so visited the Poke cafe across the road. Suggest menu have a few vegetarian options.

The service was amazing from check in to check out! Really appreciated the service where we accidentally flicked the "do not distrub" button and they called to double check to ensure they could still clean the room. Had a great selection of amentities to choose from and topped up daily.

The bed was a little on the lower side -reaching just above my knees. The shower head was a little difficult to use or we had problems trying to operate it. Also the hallways and the elevator were not airconed so was pretty hot when you walked out, however the lobby was amazing!

a The overall standard at this hotel was very good, in every aspect. My only concern was that of the evening restaurant staff who seemed to have great difficulty in getting the correct menu order to the table. Every evening I had great difficulty in conversing with the waiters, even with the aid of the menu, I often received the wrong order. The were unable to converse or understand English

Hotel is clean and conveniently located, Staff is friendly and very helpful. We booked a Mekong river tour with the staff at the hotel. We arrive around 10pm and requested a tour for the next day. The reception staff was very helpful arrange it within few minutes
