We absolutely loved MaiChi Villa it’s so well situated to the river and all the shops the rooms are so clean and comfortable and the staff are just amazing especially Minty on reception she was so helpful with booking tickets to shows etc I would 100 percent recommend staying here really relaxing comfortable stay with great air conditioning

One thing I think is worth mentioning the area seems pretty safe but I was with my boyfriend so was okay but if you are solo traveller walking back at night it is in the kind of back streets and you have to walk down lane ways just something to keep in mind when booking

The hotel is truly beautiful. The room was nice, very clean and very comfortable. It’s located in a great area next to the center but in an alley so there is no problem with noise. We had the room with the balcony to the street and we loved it. Special thanks to the sweet and helpful host lady/receptionist, who made us feel super welcome and she was always so friendly ☺️ This was our favourite hotel of all other 7 we stayed during our travels through Vietnam😊 Wish we could come back!

Everything was perfect. Even if they don’t serve breakfast, they recommend you a cafe just across the street, Demo, which has delicious and affordable breakfast.

The best accommodation we had from our trip! From the first step of arrival to the end of our stay, this place really gave us beyond our expectations, the room was clean, the breakfast was really nice( I HAD PHO literally everyday highly recommended!) we also rented a bicycle from the reception to cycling around the city it cost us only 50K per bike, so reasonable comparing to the rental shop on the street. The location of the villa is closed to the night market, and old town very convenient. Overall from our last stay was 10/10 highly recommended and We definitely will be back! Love you Maichi

Great location - close to Old Town, but still in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. Really friendly and helpful staff (especially Minty - thank you!). They provided us with some great recommendations in the area but there's also so much to try near by. We were able to arrange pick-up from the airport through MaiChi and they offered us to help us book tours and other transportation as well as laundry service. We had a great time in Hoi An.

There were a few small insects in the room but being in SE Asia, this is to be expected. But room was still clean and this was not a huge deterrent to our stay.

The pool was a good addition to cool off in the heat. The location is close to the old town, a good walking distance. The owner is very nice

Not that I "didn't like" but would have appreciated prior authorization before changing our room. I chose a room on the first floor because we had a lot of heavy luggage but we were changed to a different room that was on the 3rd floor. Although, I appreciate that the owner gave us a bigger room with 2 beds. If given an option we would have declined, but it seems they gave away our room prior to our arrival. There were no elevators so it was inconvenient to go up and down the stairs. The owner and her daughter helped us bring the luggage up, and we felt bad so we brought it up as well. When leaving we lugged all the luggage down ourselves.

The hotel is in a cute alley, walking distance to all of the pretty sights in Hoi An. The room was big, comfy bed, and while we didn’t use the pool, it was a pretty little outdoor space. What made our trip here so nice was the care and helpfulness of the two sisters working there. They gave us recommendations for dining, tailoring, tours, and more. They helped us rent bikes, get a driver for a ride we wanted to do - even after we had moved out of MaiChi because we wanted to stay longer in Hoi An. We really appreciated all their friendly support!

Our experience with MaiChi Villa was simply extraordinary! Everything was just perfect and wonderful. Minty the receptionist was not just helpful with everything she also helped us getting a refund for our airport taxi when we accidentally paid twice for it (by creditors and later on by cash). If you decide to stay here you won’t be disappointed. The location is perfect the hotel itself is just beautiful and the people working there will do their best to make it an unforgettable experience (including recommendation for everything). Room was clean, location was walkable to ancient town within 10 to 15min, I would consider it to be great location. Price was excellent, real good value, the room's look far exceeded the price. The bed size was superb and comfortable (think it was 2 beds combined).

The sound proofing was bad, can easily hear outside the door. Sometimes the counter staff couldn't speak English as it was akin to a homestay, but they will call an English speaker on phone and pass to you, or you may use Google translate.

The best hotel we stayed in Vietnam. A few steps from the historic center of Hoi An, it is quiet, clean and well maintained. It has all the amenities one needs, the rooms are spacious and with lots of natural light, lots of windows but you have your privacy at the same time. The water pressure in the bathroom is perfect, the staff is very friendly and efficient, they helped us book tours and transportation to Da Nang. The pool looked pretty clean and maintained, but we didn't get a chance to use it as we weren't in Hoi An for long. We liked everything overall and will definitely come back when we are back in Hoi An.

We loved everything.

Perfect location, super close to the old town. Friendly staff. A basic breakfast was sufficient - juice, fruit & eggs. They did offer us a lower rate without breakfast but we were happy with the selection offered. Lovely spacious room with a balcony.

Difficult to get help late in the day - we had forgotten to pre-order breakfast one day but there was nobody around after 9pm who could understand English. This was a minor issue though as we just sorted breakfast the following morning.
