We were very well looked after by the extremely helpful and friendly staff, with special mention to Lanh who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay. They were always willing to listen and spend time making sure we were happy, whether that was information on the area or little treats in our room. The breakfasts were so good, and excellent value! We felt very welcome at Ngan Phu Villas - a little oasis with lovely gardens and a refreshing breeze, in a quiet lane just steps away from everything you could need. The free bikes were very much appreciated - we loved riding around the rice paddies on them. They even have toddler seats, should you need them. VERY HAPPY!

The Wifi was fine for everyday browsing however, if you need a very consistent, high-speed connection you may need to go to a workspace eg. The Hub (which is just around the corner), particularly in the evening peak usage periods. If you prefer a soft bed, request that when booking as some rooms have firm mattresses.

We had a wonderful time staying at The Ngan Phu Villa. The place was so comfortable and in a brilliant location about 5-10 mins cycle from the Old Town. They even gave us free bikes to take out every day. The rooms were really clean and comfortable, and there was air con as well as a mosquito net. My husband and I had a balcony which was lovely. Lanh, Nguyen and Nga working on reception were really kind and helpful, providing us with lots of options for tours and experiences. We had excellent breakfasts which were included in the price. It was really great value for money, and wonderful to spend time in a family style villa. Would highly recommend

Honestly everything. This place was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. I ended up staying longer here as I loved it so much. The staff are so sweet and helpful (nicest customer service I have experienced in Vietnam). The free breakfast has a great selection. The location is perfect, quiet and secure. The free bicycles make all nearby locations super accessible and a great way to see the surrounding areas. The rooms are cleaned everyday to a high standard. The laundry service was excellent. The pool is great. They help you book taxis, tours etc.

Ants in some areas but did not cause issue

My husband and I loved staying here! We stayed for 5 nights. This family owned hotel is such a gem, an Oasis from the lively city. Nguyen, one of the receptionist was so friendly, helpful and patient (I had a lot of questions). She easily booked us excursions to Cham Islands and My Son Sanctuary with transport, and lunch. Our room was clean, very spacious and super comfortable. This is a small hotel, where you are greeted by name. The daily breakfast menu had great options and the food, white coffee and mango shakes were fantastic! They have free bikes to use for the guests. We used the tranquil pool multiple times a day. It is an easy and safe walk to the old town, 15-20 minutes. We would highly recommend this place! We plan to stay here again when we visit a Hoi An and with family/friends.

Nothing, everything was wonderful.

The hospitality here really made our stay! The woman who welcomed us was sooo kind and sweet. She brought us smoothies upon arriving and took time to explain the area and activities throughly. The breakfast was also a highlight. They let us order multiple drinks and dishes and we looked forward to it every morning. They cleaned our rooms everyday, brought cookies at night, and had plenty of free bike to borrow. It's located a bit far from the ancient town, but it was nice to be away from the noise and to be close to the rice fields.

The AC was a bit weak. There were some very hot days and even having it on full blast wouldn't cool us down. Not a deal breaker. We would happily come back.

We had such a great time at this lovely hotel. It feels nice and secluded but is still in a great location just off the main road. Room was clean and spacious and the pool was also a nice touch. The staff were really helpful and did their best to make sure we had a great time at the hotel and in Hoi An, offering useful tips and sightseeing information. The hotel has free bicycles for guests to use which we didn't know about beforehand but was super useful to have!

Ngan Phu Villa really feels more like a friendly homestay than a hotel. When we arrived, Kieu was there to greet us and made us fresh orange juice, which was such a nice surprise. Throughout our stay, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We also had a really interesting chat with Lahn in the evening and learned a lot more about locals' daily life, various social issues in Vietnam, etc, than we would ever have if we had stayed at one of those large anonymous hotels. Breakfast was always a delight, with lots of options and food was deliciously cooked. We felt really welcome and taken care of the whole time.

The room could use a few more floor mats, as the floor did get wet quite easily due to rain outside and the lack of a shower curtain. It wasn't a huge problem (they even provided flip flops to use in the room) but the floor did get a bit damp and dirty after a day. The only other thing was that adding a few more lights - maybe reading lamps - would have helped improve the room a lot, we found it quite dim for reading and using our laptops and it was a bit straining on the eyes.

The pool is fantastic, the breakfast is homemade and the staff are kind. You’ll get many breakfast options and they insist on two drinks if you only order coffee. Listening to the staff communicate kindly and patiently to rude guests, offering solutions with great hospitality. They’re much kinder than I would have been. The room fridge is not overpriced, it is cheaper than any place you’ll find in Hoi An. The pool is by the entrance but not open to the street. There are free bicycles to use. Walking to Old Town takes 15mins, Grab ride is 5mins. A Grab ride to the beach is 10mins. None of the main road madness is near the homestay. The room is quiet and has aircon. Each night you’re given cookies as an evening snack and it made me feel so welcome. Thank you so much for looking after me!

I got in rather early on a sleeper bus and went to Ngan Phu to leave my bags and was offered a bonus complementary breakfast by the amazing hosts there. They were super helpful and had some awesome recommendations of things to do, food to eat and sights to see. They sort out tours for quests, and can organize cheaper transport to the airport in neighboring city, da nang. I loved my time in Hoi An so much so that I tried to come back here a few days later. (they were rightfully booked out). There are also free bicycles for guests to use. and the pool and outdoor area is so pretty and calming!

This was an all around great experience. For good value, we stayed in a clean room with friendly staff informing us about local places to visit. The delicious breakfast was provided for free and the pool was lovely. We also had the opportunity to speak to other guests.

The location was about twenty minutes from the centre of town, but grabs are cheap to drive there. There was also a little difficulty with the shower drainage.
