We had an incredible stay at Zen Villa! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt like we were in our own private retreat. The villa was cozy and inviting, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We loved the intimate and secluded feel, which made us feel like we were truly abroad, immersed in a local experience. The surrounding rice paddies and serene ambiance were the perfect antidote to our busy lives. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and thoroughly relaxed. The breakfast every morning was a perfect representation of the provincial life in Hoi An, with fresh fruits that rotates everyday, fresh squeeze fruit juices, authentic Vietnamese coffee, and a selection of local dishes for entree. What we LOVED the most was the staff! They are so friendly and accommodating! Always greeted us with a smile and asked how our days were, making us feel welcomed every time. Huong, thank you for all the lovely chats and recommendations especially local restaurants and where to get the best tailored wedding attires! Vy, thank you for arranging our needs such as the motorbikes and informing us the festivities in Old Town like the lantern festival. Joy and I are so thankful for everything you both have done for us! And for the security guard, thank you for staying up late ensuring we arrive safely. Overall, we couldn't recommend this villa more highly - it's a must-stay for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in Hoi An!

Nothing! Zen Villa is the perfect getaway place.

From my arrival, expectations were surpassed. A very warm welcome, a quick guide to the town’s layout and map were provided along with tips for services such as laundry. The very lovely large room, contemporary bathroom, and super comfy bed made my stay very enjoyable. Breakfasts made in house were varied daily and very generous portions. I really enjoyed the location: just a short walk from old town but far enough away to get away from the crowds while having services and shops just out the door. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a visit to Hoi An, you won’t be disappointed!

Villa is really nice and clean, rooms are comfortable. Walking distance to old town. Breakfast is really delicious (eggs, banh mi and pho). Their staff is amazing, really helpful and nice. All of them try their best to help you and be of service. We came before the checkout time and they still let us go to the room already. Bikes and scooter rentals also are possible from them. They can also arrange tours for you. We went on cooking class eco tour and had a great time!

The location was perfect. We wanted to be somewhere within walking distance to ancient city tourist cites, nice restaurants and bars, but still wanted somewhere a little bit quieter. The Zen Boutique was a perfect location that met these wants. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive, before and throughout our stay. We liked how spacious, clean and full of natural light the our room was. The breakfast, which we could choose from was also excellent :) I would definitely re-visit and recommend to whoever is planning on visiting Hoi An.

Everything was good. Nothing that we didn't like.

The staff are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. They make an effort to cater for your personal breakfast preferences and book taxis and trips for guests. The room is comfortable, spacious, light and super clean. The location of the hotel is in a quieter area just outside the old town - the river is just a fifteen to twenty minute walk away. The beach is about five kms away - a short taxi ride. This was our second stay and they have kept up their high standards.

Excellent villa in Hoi An! Authentic and nice place with excellent and kind staff. The room is large with a comfortable bed and a side view of the stunning rice fields. At first the air conditioner didn't work so well, it took some time to cool down and cool the room, but after about an hour it worked great. The wifi was fine. Nice breakfast. The place is a bit far from the central markets and the old city, about 15 minutes walk. The hotel staff was very nice, they helped us with what we needed and advised us which trips are recommended to do in Hoi An. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of the room, but the pictures that appear in Booking match the reality.

The only thing that disturbed us in the room was the curtain - there are 2 curtains, one of which is supposed to be opaque, in reality it was not opaque and we woke up to the light already at sunrise.

Wonderful, genuine boutique hotel with a small number of rooms. The property itself was beautiful and a short walk from the centre of Hoi An. The breakfast and pool area was stunning and the hotel served delicious breakfasts - we had noodle soup, banh mi and banana pancakes with fruit over the course of our stay. From the moment we stepped in we felt welcome and at home, the staff were all so helpful and friendly. Being able to borrow a bike was a big plus too, and it is easy to cycle to the rice paddies and beach from the hotel. Would highly recommend staying here and for someone from UK it is incredible value. Probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Thank you!

Bright, airy and spotlessly clean room, gorgeous en suite and balcony complete with little pond and lotus flowers. Breakfast was varied, fresh fruit, choice of eggs in various ways or noodles, toast with home made jam and fresh yogurt. Two lovely ladies on reception couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. There are free bikes but we hired a scooter which was only a couple of quid for the day. Ideal location, quiet with views of countryside. We had a fantastic stay! The room was great, and the shower had plenty of hot water. The breakfast was the best we had during our entire trip. The staff went above and beyond, offering helpful information and services. The location was perfect—close enough to the old town, but far enough to avoid the chaos.

The room had a slightly damp feeling, and some of the services, like transport, were more expensive compared to other quotes we received.

The whole hotel gave a wonderful peaceful feel. Breakfast was either egg or noodles, so it catered to both western or local food, as well as fruit, yoghurt and pancakes. Eating next to the pool was peaceful. The room was so large, clean and comfortable and the balcony a perfect place for journalling in the mornings. The staff were very friendly and have good recommendations for tailors, lantern workshop and booked us a bus onto Huê.

Would have been nice to have some fresh milk provided in the rooms to make tea. Yoga classes would be a nice touch if they are able to find instructors.
