Not being used to Resorts, this was an entirely new experience for us. Vinpearl Resort & Theme Park is on an Island off the coast of Nha Trang City, and we checked in at the mainland station; everything was very lavish and new, and the process was Ok, if a bit convoluted. A bit like Disney, the place runs like a gigantic machine. We were taken by large passenger speedboat to the island, where we got an electric Tuk-Tuk bus to our particular hotel (there are several on the island). We finalized our check in there, then went by personal Tuk-Tuk to our Villa. I'd booked one of the independent Villa units separate from the main hotel, and it was like a full-size home. Situation among beautiful flowers and vegetation, with a private deck and small private swimming pool, the place was amazing. High ceilings, three toilets, two bedrooms, it was like a small palace. Beds, furnishings and amenities were very nice. Having the whole space to ourselves, and especially the private pool, was outstanding. Getting anywhere or going to eat was a bit of a process; one had to call reception and order the Tuk-Tuk to come and take you where you'd like to go. The Beach and massive public pool at the main Hotel were amazing, stunning in size and beauty. I rented a Jetski from the Watersports team and it was amazing. The famous cable-car to the mainland was magical, and allows you to easily cross back to Nha Trang; the speedboat service is also available to transit with. Overall the Villa and the setting are beyond stunning, and I'd happily have spent a week there, and the resort experience I'm sure is comparable to any such place.

We hadn't purchased the buffet service, so food was a bit more of a problem; the Lagoon Restaurant was extremely slow and disorganized with our dinner, we had a very poor experience there. Dishes served 45 minutes apart, and had to cancel a dish after waiting 2 hours for it. We had a room service breakfast and a late night snack, and they arrived in an OK time frame and were decent. Not many dining options on the island, and we couldn't find anywhere to buy water/drinks/snacks for our room.

I reserved a beachfront pool villa, which is conveniently located right on the beach, making access to the shore as easy as strolling to my backyard. This is undoubtedly the prime beach location I've experienced. Beyond this, there's little else to desire. The villa offers spacious rooms and a large pool, perfect for swimming and having fun with kids.

The food available for order at the villa is disappointing, both in quality and variety. Given that the villa is on an island with no other dining options nearby, I believe there should be a broader and better selection of food that can be ordered in-house. This would greatly enhance the overall experience of staying and enjoying the villa.

The island itself has a very good infrastructure. It is very green, has restaurants and electric cars to drive you around. All the common areas are very clean. The sunbeds were sufficient if you look further along the beach. The beach itself is white sand and a very calm water with no waves or rubbish. A lot of staff members are there to help you, but English is still a problem when communicating. We liked the buffet breakfast and lunch, has lots of variety. The room was spacious with a sea view. The entertainment could be better on the pool or on the beach, because everything except the ball was for money. Only 1 ball for available, and they take it from you once it’s 7 pm sharp.

The only drawback was that my child was bitten by some bugs in the room. When we went to the medical room, they couldn’t tell the reason. But it was getting worse every night. I believe they were bed bugs.

The generously-proportioned beachfront villa with private pool was exceptional and sufficiently separated from the more commercial part of the island facilities.

The ‘town’ that greets one on the island is utterly inauthentic and almost dystopian. One felt relieved to (as rapidly as possible) pass through it on the way to the resort and spa. The flooring in the beachfront villa needs to be replaced. It’s now warping and may cause injury. The same applies to the synthetic decking between the pool and the villa.

Amazing resort and facilities , plenty of activities to do. Wide range of breakfast choices. Sure is a 5 star rating.

The level of noise coming from another room from midnight to 3am. We called for the noise complaint x2 times by phone and went down to the main reception twice to complain. They didn’t do anything about. They offered me to move us which was not practical with with 3 sleeping children at Mirnight. Next morning we moved as the guests next door were staying another night and didn’t want to deal with noise again. We were very happy with the new room and were able to sleep🙂

Fantastic location on the beach, amazing view. Staff are excellent, polite and helpful. Beautiful comfortable room. Breakfast very good except every morning they ran out of coffee cups or one of the coffee machines wasn't working. One day stood in the line for almost 10 minutes. Not sure if the Lagoon Beach club is actually part of the resort but the food there was very average, no vegetables or salad to choose. The Imperial Club about 500 metres away on the other hand was very good. We ordered way too much food as staff did not guide us as to how big the servings so a lot got wasted. Biggest problem we had was, we could not get money changed. We had a travel card but it was not working in Vietnam and the hotel would only allow us to change $100 one day (which was Sunday) but today Monday at 12.00noon they had no money. Luckily we were travelling with friends who had a little extra changed so they could lend us enough to get by.

The hotel and surrounding area are stunning! We visited during Tet, so the additional decorations added to the natural beauty. The staff at the hotel is top notch. Due to the holiday, the hotel was full. But the staff rose to the challenge and provided excellent service. The breakfast buffet is outstanding! One area that particularly impresses me is the efficiency the Vinpearl company displays moving guests between the mainland and the island. It is a logistical masterpiece!

The resort itself is pretty great. It has three restaurants to choose from, not including The Imperial Club and the other hotels on the island. The beach is nice and has a good amount of chairs and huts. The staff are quite helpful and efficient when it comes to getting you on and off the island. The cleanliness is amazing and our favourite restaurant was the Oceania Italian.

The facilities, from the restaurants to the spa, are quite overpriced. The pool temperature is too cold, and the bathrooms do not have fans.

Fantastic experience. Everything we needed in one place. We stayed in a 2 brm beachfront villa and we were surprised to find we had a private beach to ourselves too! Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Amazing staff, super clean and great vibes. 10/10

Air- conditioning failed on the second night and pool lights didn't work for night swimming. The staff came to fix them after several calls and management compensated us for our inconvenience which we were unfortunately unable to use. We were still very happy with their service but wished we didn't run into these issues in the first place.

Location and view is very good ,not far from Vinwonders and cable car station , very good breakfast,all level of staff are active , polite ,good service mind,helping us with all requests

Only one thing is there were many small ants on my bed sheet,pillows,and blanket which come with room service did bedding services. I found ants very late at night when me and my daughter were going to sleep,so I had to clear ants by myself. Ants supposed to come with bedding sheets from laundry segment
