This is probably the best hotel that we have stayed in during our travels in Vietnam. It is spotlessly clean and really spacious. The family that own it are lovely. The young man that deals with most of the customer service is just so pleasant and helpful. His parents must be really proud of him. Get him to sort out your cave tours etc. He will talk you through the various options and you will get exactly what you want. Our big kayak and cave tour was probably our most memorable experience in Vietnam. It was with a truly professional company and at a very good price. The views at the back of the hotel are inspiring. The garden is beautiful and the pool is a wonderful place to relax. Breakfast is great and if you turn left out of the hotel there is the fantastic Phong Nha Family Restaurant less than 50 meters down the road for a fantastic dinner. I can't praise this place enough. If I could give it 11 out of 10 I would. Well done Phong Nha Love homestay.

I like absolutely everything

What a great homestay. The family are lovely. The room was super comfortable. They have a large swimming pool with views of the mountain. The owner is super helpful.....organizing scooter rental, onwards bus travel (with pickup at hotel). He has super cold beer and water.....just help yourself 24/7 and keep a track of what you take. They also do food all day, if you want to eat at the pool. He is just minutes away from some amazing scenery and gives directions for the best routes to take. Big recommendation for a very nice homestay at a very reasonable price.

The young owner of the property speaks a good English, he's very kind and helpful, he even picked us up at the bus stop. Clean room equipped with every comfort, beautiful garden with fantastic swimming pool with spectacular views. Delicious food available. The owner takes care of everything, from bike and scooter rental, laundry, money exchange, booking excursions and trips to other cities, all available in the homestay. Great price with even a delicious breakfast included. Central location. We recommend 100%. Thank you very much! Phong Nha is uncontaminated with a lovely nature and enchanting colours. It remained in our hearts.

We had a lovely stay here. When we arrived we asked to move rooms as our room unfortunately felt and smelt slightly damp but the hosts were incredibly accommodating and we were very happy with our new room. Everything was great. They helped us book a day tour to see the nearby caves, rent a moped and book our bus to our next destination. They had free bikes to use which we took every night into the small centre (only 5 minute cycle) and the pool out the back was nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and would really recommend.

Nothing except for our initial room smelt damp but we moved rooms and everything was perfect after that!

Great communication, pick up from the bus station on scooters, great location but better to rent a scooter and go to the caves yourself as we went to paradise cave about 12 midday and not a person was in sight- a magical experience! Just driving around is special in itself as the scenery is so beautiful. You can walk into the town for food options but honestly we just ate every single meal at the Homestay! The family was so lovely despite speaking no English (the host does) and the food was sooo well priced and probably the best we have had in our 6 weeks in Vietnam. The tofu and rice and the beef and rice was to die for! Pretty sure we had it 4 times in a row. Didn’t go in the pool as it was cold when we were there but it looked lovely and clean.

Nothing. Be careful at the petrol station opposite as they charged us an extra 50k for petrol and we didn’t notice till we counted the change (no reflection on Homestay

Beds were not too hard, big bathroom, swimming pool, billiard table, located on quieter street with Laugh Cafe (great simple meals) and Dr Sy massage nearby. Host picked us up from the bus drop off point. We didn’t mind walking into the town center.

Breakfast options were so-so since I can’t eat eggs. Banana pancake was fried and not an American style pancake, and rice noodles got a little boring after three days. The room had no desk so we had to sit in the lobby to work on the laptop. Phong Nha is more expensive than other cities for motorbike rental and laundry. Host was very interested in selling us package tours, but we preferred to DIY with a motorbike.

The owner was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. He answered all of our questions and helped whenever he could which we really appreciated. He even picked us up at 04.30am when we were dropped off by our sleeper bus.

Nothing but might we suggest that a wardrobe would be easier to use than a coat stand and perhaps a comfortable communal area with sofas (within the dining area perhaps?) There were sunloungers by the pool but it was a bit cool to be sitting outside when we were there in February.

I really had a great experience here. The owner is very enthusiastic, caring and professional. Because he is a local, what he shared was very useful for the trip. The room was very clean, quiet, what I was most satisfied with was that it had a private swimming pool. The breakfast was prepared extremely quickly. I contacted the reception about the tours and it was great. The car picked me up at homestay.

Such lovely staff so welcoming and helpful, cooked us dinner when we arrived after a sleeper bus late. Breakfast included too was yummy. Also let us stay in the room late till our next evening sleeper bus. Very clean place and comfy rooms. They have a pool table free of use! Offered us pick up from the bus stop as well, thank you

We visited when it was cold and there was only a blanket in the room, no duvet, but this can be overlooked and obviously if it’s warm weather this is a good thing! Just round the corner from the main strip but an easy walk and they use cycle bikes or mopeds you can use for this

We had a great stay of 2 nights at Love. Thanks to the fantastic host who came to collect us from the bus stop and made us feel so welcome. He went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after, tours booked, buses sorted, feeling ok etc. Also full of recommendations such as magic fingers massages next door and a minute walk away the delicious Phong Nha family restaurant! Breakfast was lovely, the room was basic yet spacious and has all you need for a good night’s sleep.
