Green Bay Phu Quoc was exactly what we needed. The staff were exceptional — warm, knowledgeable, and never overbearing. There was a genuine sense of family among them, which reflected strong leadership and thoughtful training, and made everything feel relaxed and natural from start to finish. The beach is stunning — quiet, clean, and perfect for swimming or simply switching off. Our villa was tucked away and beautifully private, stylish and cool, with the right balance of comfort and nature. It felt like our own little hideaway. We never felt the need to leave the resort — everything we wanted was right there. Breakfast was brilliant every morning: fresh, generous, and varied. In the evenings, we ate at the Asian restaurant, which offered a wide selection of high-quality dishes at very reasonable prices, especially considering it’s a five-star resort. If you're looking for peace, privacy, and genuine hospitality in a beautiful setting, Green Bay is hard to beat.

Loved it, we could stay here again. Breakfast had some authentic Vietnamese dishes (which we preferred as a an American Viet-Kieu w an American white husband). The Italian chef made a pretty good lunch out of the local produce. Staff was very attentive, on point, polite, efficient, problem solvers, accommodating. Facilities were as clean as it could be for being right on a beach jungle. The villa layouts are AWESOME. The spa was an A+, one my top 3 favorite spa experiences.

Don't get ripped off. 2,400,000 VND for a bag of laundry. Down the street for a full bag of laundry 90,000 VND. Get a car, ask the driver to take you to laundry service - Just astronomically rude to charge anyone that much for laundry. Wish that the villas had a mini kitchenette so that we could stay in room for days. Beach Villa prices and locations and varies greatly - do your research for price matching and comparing value. Got a bit bored of the food, it's definitely catered to Westerners more than the Viet/Viet-Kieu or Foodies. Go off campus for everything else.

Staff were great, welcoming and accommodating. Lucky to get lunar new year, would recommend staying here during this time. Gardens, pool and eating areas are very pleasant and relaxing.

Breakfast: all you can wish for. Lunch: not really needed after big breakfast. Afternoon tea: free, guest behaving like hyenas so welcome but not nice. Dinner: a little limited choice in the main restaurant, alright in the seafood restaurant. Going out for meals not really an option as quite remote. Rooms: huge, nice decoration not really visible from website pix, much better in reality. Staff: super friendly. Grounds: beautiful and kept spotlessly maintained. On-site activities: so many it does not get boring for at least 4-5 days without leaving the property.

A little wider choice for in-house dinner options

It was one of the most wonderful vacations our family has ever had. My husband, 12-year-old son and I enjoyed the beautiful weather, absolute silence, and calm sea. It seemed that we were completely alone in the jungle. A small monkey came to visit us at the villa, to the complete delight of our son. Only in the restaurant did we find other hotel guests. We were alone on the beach and in the pool. And we were not bored, because the hotel had sups, crossbows, volleyball, and balls. Wonderful spa. Many thanks

Just perfectly green and quiet. Small private beach that is just beautiful. If you are not staying in a pool vila the main pool is actually great. Food options are sufficient and it is delicious. This place really makes you relax and enjoy your vacation. Staff is very kind and helpful. If you do feel the need to get out, there are many restaurants and cafes 15 min drive away.

The only inconvenience I experienced was with WiFi. It did help me really shut down. May be exactly what I needed.

The resort is exceptional. The layout of the villas gives each one privacy and you almost feel you are the only people there. The beach and the pools are stunning with amazing views everywhere you look. Our villa was beyond our expectations with great attention given to making it feel comfortable yet cosy. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and willing to help with any requests.

Disappointed with the choice of food at the two restaurants. One restaurant features western food, such as burgers and pizza, which we did not travel to Vietnam to eat. The other restauarnt serves Vietnamese food, but this was mostly uninspiring and a little bland. We spent time at three other hotels prior to this stay and this resort had the weakest breakfast of the four. Local fruit such as mangoes and pineapples, which were abundant in local shops were rarely offered. Cereal on a couple of occasions were only the sugary types aimed more at children. Overall, food was poor.

My favorite resort experience so far! The service here is exceptional. Every staff member is constantly smiling and eager to help with anything. They genuinely care about your comfort and make sure you have everything you need. Our room was the cleanest we’ve seen in Vietnam, with plenty of space, a super comfy bed, and a great view, even without a direct sea view. It’s secluded enough that you don’t have to worry about privacy, and the bathroom was large, spotless, and fully functional. The outdoor shower? Such a cute little addition that really elevates the experience. The pool view is stunning, and the beach is just as breathtaking. We visited during the low season, so it was a bit on the quiet side, but we enjoyed the peaceful vibe. Adding a few daytime activities or maybe a live band in the bar could boost the overall atmosphere a bit, though we didn’t mind since we came here to relax. They arranged a motorcycle for us with ease, and the airport pickup and drop-off were incredibly comfortable. Special shout-out to our driver, who was friendly, professional, and kept us smiling the whole way. I highly recommend staying at Green Bay—you won’t regret it!

I’m not much of a resort guy, but have to say Green Bay was exceptional. the quality of the fit out is amazing. We had a family bungalow, two very large rooms, two very large bathrooms, two outside private showers, three verandas. Beach is pristine, even down to the leaves being swept up each day. Pool overlooks the beach and is crystal clear. Staff are all happy and cannot do enough for you. Special shout out to Lam who my kids just adored. Was exactly what we needed after travelling Vietnam in far less luxury for the previous 3 weeks. Well done to the manager Mr Murphy.

Absolutely gorgeous property. I would highly recommend a beachfront villa, with a private pool if you can swing it. So luxurious. Staff work hard to keep everything clean, including the beach and even the ocean water is skimmed of algae. Fabulous pools. Great happy hour at the point at the end of the pier at sunset. Phenomenal breakfasts. Dinner also excellent. The 3 pm tea is such a nice bonus. Everything is very tasteful and classy, from the onsite garbage bins to the salt and pepper shakers. Fabulous kimonos in the room.

Staff are sweet but their command of English could improve. I would recommend against a room rate with dinner included. The menu you get is limited. Better to go a la carte. The tennis court should have pickleball lines. Also note that there is a shuttle to town but it takes 25 mins one way.
