This small boutique hotel is awesome. Very quiet and comfortable in beautiful garden full of palmtrees, orchids, with the forest in the other side of bungalows. Manager, Mr. Anh was very helpful and made sure the stay is comfortable. The whole Staff was very friendly. We arrived early morning at 9, and we received the room before check in time for free. It was amazing after long journey. We also received free room upgrade, so we had great view for swimming pool. Room was specious and clean. Every day there was additional cleaning service, clean bathroom and swimming pool towels, two bottle of water, tea and coffee. There is hot water in the shower. Breakfast was tasty with salty and sweet selection (mix of Asian and continental breakfast). Great fruits served as well. We also like the meal served in restaurant. Good food quality in the good price. We decided to rent the motorbike in the hotel and it was in good condition. You can also borrow bicycles for free to get to the beaches.

Nice resort surrounded by greeneries, flowers and quietness. Our room was super spacious with a huge bed and A/C. Breakfast was lovely, with new options everyday and freshly cooked pancakes. Pool area was very nice also. Beautiful koi pond and a few cats and dogs live on the premises to keep us company. Because of the off-centre location, I would recommend renting a scooter to explore the island, although free bicycles are also available to go to nearby beaches. If you’re looking for nature, relaxation and peacefulness, this resort is perfect.

The property could be better maintained and cleaned. There were multiples light fixtures not functioning in our room, and stains from water leakage on the ceiling that could use some repainting. The dirty coffee spoon in our room was untouched for the 4 days we were there, never got changed by the cleaners. An empty beer bottle on the side of the pool took 2 days to be thrown away. Water pressure is almost non existent in the shower. We still really enjoyed our stay here as they weren’t deal breakers. But there is definitely room for improvement.

Lovely stay in an almost eco type resort. Garden view bungalows are almost part of the jungle and the mesh bathroom windows allow all the sounds of that to come in, the frogs, geckos and birds. Lovely Pool was great but could do with a clean in parts, mainly in the shallow area. I didn’t actually see a clean take place during the week we were there. Of course I could have missed it, but it didn’t seem to have been done. By no means would I describe it as dirty, just needed a bit more care as you normally see elsewhere. Breakfast was limited but ok, the breakfast staff were great though, Prabi and the team 👍👍 We slept really well here. Peaceful and tranquil surrounded by a bit of nature.

Nothing to dislike. But be aware no hot water in bathroom sinks, so cold shaves. But hot water in the shower to wash off with. And no sink plug so you can’t fill it with the kettle. Rooms a little dark and sparsely populated with furniture, but it all works and everything is wood, so kind of has to be dark I guess.

Villas are tucked away just from the main road so it is peaceful and quiet! Beach is a 5min scooter down the backroads. Pool table and chess available for entertainment. Rooms are spacious and really good air con. Super comfy beds! Pool area is great and never got busy! Lots of loungers and some hammocks. Amazing host at resort and helps with everything! A great stay for friends/couples & families. Recommend getting a scooter at the property. Very easy and good rate!

A couple bugs in the bathroom, but nothing crazy & expected as you’re surrounded by nature! WiFi is a bit start and stop. But again not an issue for me but maybe for some.

Great property a little off the beaten track but walking distance to the local beach to watch sunset and a choice of restaurants. the free bike hire is great to make the journey a little shorter A very quiet and peaceful resort, with great staff. Mr Anh remembers all his guests and is a very good host. The food at the restaurant is good and similar prices to the other restaurants around, so you dont need to venture out if you dont want to.

Nothing not to like, for the price, it was excellent

The pool was nice and big, the foliage is beautiful. The beds were comfy. The dogs were friendly! The staff were all nice. Prices were decent at the restaurant. The best rooms are the pool side garden view on second floor. Breakfast is very simple but includes Vietnamese soup, pancakes, toast, freshly cooked eggs and fruit.

There could be more privacy on the balcony in the garden view villas. Though not the fault of the hotel, one afternoon we were told there would be no electricity the next day from 8am-6pm which impacted breakfast, wifi, etc It would have been nice to have been compensated in some way for this inconvenience.

There were several unique and irreplaceable things about Bambusa Resort.. The serene setting in the midst of a lush tropical forest, the layout of the rooms around the oversized pool, which was also offered the same lush landscaping, and then the extremely helpful and competent Manager, Anh, who seems able to make everything just right for all the guests. Every request was met with a smile, and before you knew it.. problem solved ! We also loved the location in a quieter part of the island, with easy access to restaurants and a small public beach.

Our stay at Phu Quoc Bambusa Resort was delightful overall! The lush greenery and tranquil ambiance of the resort made for a truly relaxing experience. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always willing to assist with a smile. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast. The variety of dishes offered was impressive, from fresh tropical fruits to local Vietnamese specialties and Western options. It was a wonderful way to start each day!

However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The water pressure in the bathroom was quite low, which made showering less enjoyable. Additionally, the bathroom could use some thoughtful ergonomics—there weren’t convenient places to keep bath gel or toiletries, which could be improved for better functionality. Despite these issues, the resort’s charm, serene surroundings, and exceptional service more than made up for it. I would still recommend Phu Quoc Bambusa Resort for those seeking a peaceful getaway in Phu Quoc.

After staying further south of the island we wanted to try somewhere different. We booked in for 1 night as we hadn’t liked our previous accommodation and wasn’t sure what this was going to be like. However. We were happy to extend for our last night on the island due to everything the property offers. As we arrived the staff were friendly and welcoming. They helped us with our bags to our room. Which was super large! My bed could have fitted 4 in it! And over looked the pool. We were surrounded by jungle which was just beautiful! The surroundings are so serene. The food was delicious. Both western and Asian and breakfast was included in the price this had a large number of options from pho to fresh fruit toast and eggs. My son enjoyed the pancakes. He also was very happy with the pool table which was a great touch! The staff were so friendly and happy to help. Anh the owner arranged a day trip to starfish beach for us which was beautiful and the driver was very friendly too. I miss the puppy’s already they are little delights. Overall a fantastic stay. Great size bungalow and amazing pool. All very private and intimate. Even though the place was fully booked it never felt crowded. The guy taking care of breakfast was an absolute gem and catered to every need with a smile. Just a perfect getaway from the buzz of town. We would have loved to stay longer, that says it all.

We did not mind, but be aware that without a scooter restaurants and shops are a bit far out, particularly after dark. But scooters can be rented on site.
