Huge bungalow with plenty of space for our family of four. Very comfy beds. Great pool that we had to ourselves nearly every day. Close to a lovely beach that they will take you to on the buggy. Provided plenty of bottles of water daily and room cleaned daily if required. Helped us by booking a taxi to take us to the hospital when my daughter needed stitches! Amazing wildlife sounds in the evening when you go outside. Centrally situated on the island so not too far to all of the activities and easy to get a Grab/taxi. Shops within walking distance for basic supplies.

Only thing that would have been nice is if the restaurant had been open or at least some drinks available but we knew it wasn't going to be when we were there.

The property was surrounded by trees. Our family of 5 loved 3 bedrooms with king size beds with private bathrooms. We enjoyed coffee on the covered veranda. The pool was refreshing. Having our own villa made it very quiet and private. What made our stay exceptional was Nhan. He was always a text away. He helped coordinate everything: 1. 4 island on speedboat with snorkeling. Vietnamese lunch provided. Finished with a cable car ride. Shuttle picked us up at the resort and dropped us off. 2. He coordinated “motorbikes” for the family. 3. He suggested and bought tickets for the Symphony of the Sea and Kiss of the Sea shows. 4. Arranged transportation to and from the airport. 5. Recommended places to go: Rach Vem to see the starfish, Khem Beach, Sunset Town. The beach was a 5 minute walk. Our a 2 minute buggy ride. He provided directions, took us by buggy to restaurants, ATM machine, did our laundry, etc. He went above and beyond to make it a memorable stay.

I cannot recommend Emerald Garden enough. Its a beautiful resort, the staff are incredibly friendly and look after you so well! I stayed in the studio with terrace as a solo traveller On Lang is perfectly positioned on the island - far enough away to feel like you have peace and quiet but close enough to the key areas. And easy access to the North which was my favourite. You can hire a scooter from the resort for $130k which is a really good idea. Best way to see the island and find some hidden gems away from the touristy areas. For sunrise and sunset I'd suggest going to the Bamboo Restaurant beach. Incredible location, quiet and great food, drink plus Yoga sessions available next door. Overall cant recommend this place enough - if you choose it you will land on your feet!

The location is the best because it's surrounded by nature and away from the crowds in the city. The pool is amazing and long enough to swim laps. Nhan, the host / manager of the property was there for our every need. He drove us anywhere we wanted in Ong Lang and picked us up at a moments notice. He always has a cheerful smile on his face and he provided the best customer service we've had in over 2 1/2 months in Vietnam. He always greeted us with "How can I help you?" We extended our stay from 5 days to 12 nights and were sad to leave. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very comfortable and set in a private yard so you feel like it your own house. It's our little jungle sanctuary and if we every come back to Phu Quoc, we will definitely stay here again.

I honestly liked everything!

Truly idyllic and relaxing. Rooms and bathrooms were extremely spacious and comfortable. Lovely lush and green surroundings, with a generous swimming pool. There is an on-site restaurant with room service. Nhan was always available to help with bookings, advice on outings and driving us in the buggy to the local supermarket/ restaurants/ATM/ Ong Lang beach. Definitely one of the nicest places I've been in all my years of travelling. Almost worried about raving about it too much as want to keep the place a secret for myself! It's 25 mins away from the hustle and bustle of Phu Quoc, which was perfect for us.

Nothing really. We booked the 3-bed bungalow, which had lovely, spacious rooms. I had assumed the rooms were connecting for my family with children. I should've enquired ahead to double-check. But that didn't diminish the lovely time we had at Emerald Garden Retreat.

Our stay at Emerald Garden was delightful. The resort is located in a quiet place where no city noise or karaoke will bother you. There is a huge pool with a jacuzzi. If you need to buy somewhere in a store or go to a nearby restaurant, the staff will drive you there for free. We felt very welcome. The bungalows are recently built and they look very nice. There are even bathrobes! The price was a steal for all the convenience and service. I can recommend this resort 100%.

The fridge was a bit small and there wasn't much stuff to cook with, but we mostly ate out anyway.

we spent wonderful three days in emerald garden. the staff were incredibly open, responsive and friendly, the territory is just incredible - clean, well-groomed, lots of greenery, a sense of privacy thanks to the hedges, a good clean pool, quiet neighbors, comfortable beds and everything you need for a vacation, the beaches are within walking distance, on the first day we did not know how to get there and we were taken in an electric car. they met all our requests and tried to help. we were really able to relax after traveling around different cities of Vietnam, it was great, thank you very much! I completely forgot to take a photo of the room and the territory, but everything looks like in the photo of the hotel on booking

The accommodation is set in a green, quiet area and has a beautiful atmosphere. There is a pool, gazebos, and a well-maintained garden. The room offers plenty of space for suitcases, which is usually hard to find. The receptionist is very helpful, extremely responsive, and friendly.

-The bathroom feels sometimes too warm because there are no windows, only a mesh screen. -The air conditioner cannot be set to fan mode. It keeps cooling continuously, even after reaching the set temperature. -The cleanliness in the room could be improved.

VERY quiet and comfortable bungalow in the middle of a well maintained garden. Super swimmingpool nearby. Nanh and his wife do literally everything for you, so friendly and hospitable, they became friends in the two weeks we were there. Lots of restaurants nearby. Also no far to small beaches. We rent a scooter in the retreat, that the most easy way to get to several restaurants and beaches. But they have buggy also and bring you on request to nearby places and beaches.

The resort is very peaceful and relaxing with lots of trees and greenery. The pool area is very clean with sun loungers and a shower. The pool itself is a great size and clean. Each bungalow feels very private and has its own (fairly big) garden with a nice seating area. The rooms are modern, big, bright and airy with comfy beds, a kettle and fridge. The bathroom was my favourite it’s nice and big, bright and I loved the skylight in the shower, I could spend all day in that bathroom. The robes were a lovely touch, I loved having a shower after the pool, putting on my robe and sitting outside with a book. The staff were so friendly and kind, they were lovely to chat to and offered advice on what to do on the island. The resort has big mango trees so each morning the staff brought us a plate and knife with some fresh mangos to eat which was so so kind and the best mangos we’ve had! The resort is in a really nice location along a peaceful road which leads to the beach scattered with local family run restaurants and a couple of little shops which sold basics like water, snacks, toiletries etc. At the end of the road there is a big hotel on the right and you can go to their beach front bar and restaurant and watch the most amazing sunsets!! We also had a lovely massage at the massage shop direct opposite the lane up to the resort (next to the little shop) the ladies were lovely. You can hire a motorbike from the resort to explore the island. The roads are fine to drive on big and wide. Would highly recommend to stay here we had a lovely relaxing time.
