We loved our stay at the cottage village. We had a 2 bed bungalow around the pool for a week. It was spacious for our family of 4. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and towels for the pool provided. The hotel is set down a small road that goes towards the beach, so it is in a quiet location. The beach is a 5 minutes walk down a quiet lane. It was a quiet beach and only a few other people there when we went. The restaurant and bar area are nicely decorated and staff were always really friendly. At breakfast there was a good choice of food with freshly cooked eggs anyway and staff regularly topped up things when they became low. We had dinner at the hotel a couple of times and the food was good. There are a number of restaurants close by to give other options and a shop opposite the hotel or another a few minutes walk away on the main road. The town is a short taxi journey or bus ride so easily accessible to go and explore. There is a free shuttle bus (green Vinbus) that goes up and down the island regularly and even to the airport. There are bus stops either side of the main road up from Cottage village. We really enjoyed a restful end to our holiday staying at the Cottage village and if we visited Phu Quoc again in the future we would definitely come back to Cottage Village.

We couldn’t use the bicycles the hotel have for guests. The bikes weren’t maintained and tyres were flat. When mentioned to the reception they didn’t offer any help. Other hotels we have stayed at have some bikes with a second padded seat on the back for younger children to sit on. This would have been good to have here too.

*very easy check in and check out *helpful and kind staff members *good location - a 10 minute walk to the beach, and also to the main road full of restaurants, spas and markets *my bungalow was really nice *2 swimming pools *beautiful surrounding with many plants, and also my favorite frangipani trees *different butterflies flying around *good wifi connection *clean *good breakfast options *I am vegan and usually eat just fresh fruit for breakfast (in warm climate) and there were always 2 varieties of fresh fruit for breakfast which I really appreciated. *some nights it was very quiet there

*very few sunbeds by the swimming pools. A few times when I wanted to stay by the pool, all the sunbeds were taken. *sometimes the music from the restaurant and/or cleaning staff woke me up between 6am and 7am *a couple of nights I could hear music, karaoke and people talking loud late at night so I had difficulties falling asleep even with headphones on *I'd appreciate also vegan pancakes for breakfast (for example made of coconut milk, no eggs, banana, oats)

Stuff at the restaurant, even if they don’t speak English, they always were kind, with smile and trying to help. I liked my room, the bed was really comfortable. The cleaning almost every day! The vibe of place. And the customers, I got a new friends.

Little bit dark in the room, because of light and position of mirror is not comfortable. Little bit far, the second day I was thinking to cancel my staying there because of location, but then when I found a way how to reach the city center, I was glad to stay in Cottage, it’s not noisy like in the center, if u are looking for a peace, relax your mind it’s real match! Eventually I loved the place.

The rooms were clean and spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool was lovely. Short walk to the beach. Amazing sunset.

I never thought I would ever say this, but more sunbeds around the pool. Based on number of bungalows there wasn't enough sunbeds. I would recommend that netted covers are used during breakfast to place over the fresh produce such as salad and fruits. Because everything was uncovered and you 'outside' flies and bugs are on the food which is unnerving I suspect in less than 12 months the access to the public beach will be reduced as accommodation is being built along the beach and suspect that these beach areas will become 'private' to the accommodation

The cottage was pristine clean, well equipped. Wonderful fresh bedding and really good towels. My cottage had more than enough to keep me comfortable. Swimming pool area is super clean, pools are fresh and clean. Staff really friendly. All the grounds and greenery kept very well , giving this "tropical village" vibe. Beautiful flowers everywhere. I will stay here every time I'm back in PQ. It's truly beautiful and well run.

The only slight downfall Is that the restaurant is not functioning. Its open for breakfast but its far fetched to say "bufet" breakfast. There is like 4 containers with 1 rice, 1 noodles and 2 types of saucy dish. 1 type of juice, coffe and white toast bread loaf. You can however order soup or eggs from the kitchen. Breakfast choice extremely limited and I love a nice breakfast so was a lil disappointed. I believe it will improve as tourism picks up.

The place was absolutely amazing, really spacious, super friendly staff, the breakfast was exceptional with many options for the buffet, two really big swimming pools and the rooms were very clean and bright. I extended my stay, and the value for money was a big plus. The location is also great, and it has a super market right in front of it. Less than 10-minute walk to the beach. I would really recommend this stay, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived, and they even upgraded my room to a bigger one.

This small friendly resort is fabulous. the staff are helpful and friendly. The reception team are welcoming and accommodating with requests. Originally booked two nights then extended another seven. The rooms are huge, the bathroom is huge. Great veranda seating. Overall, nice design even tho built some time ago so a little tired but I still loved it. There are free to use bicycles and hire motor bikes on-site. It’s located in a rural feeling area, a quiet neighbourhood but plenty of local restaurants and convenience stores. The two pools are awesome, beautifully clean, set in gorgeous gardens full of Frangipani and tropical flowers attracting butterflies. Excellent breakfast and cocktails. Great restaurant team.

We LOVED staying at cottage village! The room is HUGE, the balcony is huge and has an amazing view over the palmtrees and greens of the beautiful garden. We were very close to the pool but it was still quiet and relaxing. There are two pools which are both beautiful. The garden is great and there are a lot of people caring for it at all times. The staff is amazing, really kind and helpful with everything! There are some restaurants and shops close by and the walk to the beach is around 10 minutes and on a quiet road, perfect as well!

Eventhough the breakfast was delicious and the offers changed every day (at least a little) the staff was not very fast in filling up empty food containers. You had to wait like 15 minutes or more before food was refilled. (sometimes it wasn't refilled at all) The lady working at the egg station was really rude and unfriendly - she completely ignored my friend when she ordered (i assume because she didnt understand english, but ignoring her?!?) The room gets cleaned everyday which is really good, but it's not very environmental friendly to change the towels EVERYDAY eventhough we didn't put them in the laundry basket. Water refill would be amazing!! These are all small things, that didn't chanhe our amazing stay at this hotel!

Beautiful LUXURY resort! Two beautiful pools, each villa has private access, surrounded by beautiful nature. Gorgeous spacious modern rooms, big bathroom with natural rock shower floor. Amazing value for money. Great staff! Breakfast is delicious, rich in options, new variety every day: eggs cooked how you like them, pancakes, hot sandwiches, different tropical fruits, juice, vietnamese coffee, different hot dishes like veggie fried rice, curry, corn, noodles with vegetables etc, different salads. Room is cleaned and towels (3 per person) changed every day. New water bottles every day. Happy hour (2 cocktails for 1) at the pool every day 3-5pm. Free bicycle rental to go to the beach (just a few minutes away). Wifi mostly good.

Make it easier to refill water bottles and reduce plastic waste. Add an option to choose to reuse towels. Restaurant is not good for dinner, we really did not like the food and the prices were too high for the quality. There are 15 different wifi networks to choose from, but sometimes none of them work.

The pool area, rooms and garden and very nice. Staff is also there to assist you and you can rent motorcycles at the hotel. Also very good cocktails at the bar and fun they do a happy hour.

The only thing which was a downer was that one of the staff advised us to go to a certain star fish beach, but didn’t tell us it was only accessible by a horrible old road. It took us for ever to get there and when we arrived we just saw a dirty beach and no star fish. Other than this everything was perfect :-).
