The place to stay in Duong Dong, with the staff to make it Top Notch. The location is excellent – 10/15 mins walk to the hustle and bustle of the night market and the same to the strip of bars, restaurants and shops the other way. The hotel itself is ostentatiously grand in a good way and is like something you’d expect to see on the strip in Vegas. Breakfast was great, the pool area was great, and the direct access to a private beach area was great too – manned by friendly security staff – just adding to the relaxed and secure vibe. And it was the staff that really made it. From the complimentary airport transfer (offered with the higher level room) to drop off, everything was a joy. Thang picked us up and was a great help throughout our stay. Lianne on reception was professional, courteous and incredibly helpful too. Those two staff members went above and beyond to make sure we had a brilliant stay. Real 5 star staff.

This is a great place that exceeded my expectations many times over great hotel extremely modern spacious with a diagonal location on one side it is on the seafront with its own beach and at the same time it is in the center of the city so from the other side of the hotel you come out on one of the main streets as around you there are many restaurants, shops and what not, and on the other side of the building you find yourself in another world of the beach and the great pool, which is right above the sea, calm, without noise, extremely clean, the staff is friendly, efficient, there is a sports center, spa, etc. in the hotel itself. massages are also offered on the beach itself by the hotel staff there is a very good restaurant and all the possibilities for a wonderful holiday The rooms are large and spacious The bathrooms also have a sitting area terrace Every day fruit is brought which are complimentary as well as water and tea and coffee facilities there is a mini bar and fridge in every room the common areas are also extremely clean And everywhere the staff is smiling and ready to help with everything and also Importantly they offer complimentary transfer from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport with an extremely clean car well working air conditioner and Professional driver which makes it very easy I have no complaints and I am extremely pleasantly surprised by this pearl as I highly recommend this unique hotel for a great holiday in its wonderful location and I hope it will be maintained in the future

Very nice hotel with large rooms and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with a Vietjet flight and Khou (Harry) spent over an hour helping us with the flight. He really went out of his way. The breakfast buffet is huge with a lot to choose from. The pool area is very nice. It's in a great location with a lot of restaurants near by and the night market is just down the street.

The gym could use some updating and more cardio equipment. While this isn't a big deal for many travelers, we stayed in the hotel for a week, so having access to a nice gym is important.

Various breakfast, nice staff, good location. Shops, restaurants are close to the resort. Sunset is beautiful at the beach. There were a lot of people in the resort but during daytime it was not crowded at all.

When I was making our reservation I set here in booking that the 4 of us will travel (2 adults, 3 yo and 6 yo children), I had a confirmation for the price and that I wont need to pay extra fees there. When we checked in they charged us extra 2 million VND for the children. Someone (booking.com or the resort) made a mistake with the prices.

Everything, starting from location, staff (special thx to Fayz and management, Ms. Tu Tu), beach, comfy beds, rich and tasty breakfast, sunset, pool... everything... It is close to town, to restaurants, shops, easy to go whenever you want, staff is very polite and helpful, bungalows are spacious with nice interior, everyday fresh fruits. The hotel itself looks gorgeous and well maintained. Beach with sunbeds, towels, always cleaned, soft sand, and clearwater. That's my no.1 hotel in Phu Quoc for sure.

Security should have a spot by the pool and beach to maintain peace during the night. Some guests do not respect others rest time. But that's a drop in the ocean. Some more foreign language skills would be appreciated. Other than that, it was an awesome stay

Location was good. We travel both north and south of the island so it was good to be in the middle. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel. If you’re looking for a relaxing resort, this is possibly not the place for you especially if you have kids. It’s more of a hotel. The pool is basic, the outdoor bar isn’t manned so left like we couldn’t order anything from there. The playroom is good but it’s a playroom, not a kids club - you can’t leave your kids there. They don’t even let your kids swim in the beach, which is a shame. What’s the point of staying on the beach if you can’t swim there. My kids are young 5yrs & 6yrs but we are from QLD, Australia and confident with swimming at the beach and they just wouldn’t let them play in the waves. Buffet isn’t the best and there’s no lunch options unless you try to wave someone down around the pool. Thankfully there are food options around the area. If you need a comfortable clean place to stay but out and about exploring during the day. This place is good.

Unfortunately walls are thin and we had a suite. There were some very loud visitors in the middle of the night like midnight in the lift area and our door to our room opened into that area. They woke our family up. It felt like they were in our room shouting. This happened 2 nights of our stay during the weekend. The hotel is much busier on weekends.

This is a beautiful resort, postcard perfect! The resort backs on to an amazing beach, clean with warm water & lots of sun lounges to relax on. Palm trees and white sand await as you descend the steps from the large pool area. The rooms are large, with all the facilities you need, including king sized bed, lounge, bathrobes, bath & lots of bench space to put things. We would definitely return to this resort. The staff were super helpful. The buffet breakfast each morning was amazing. There was a huge selection of food, all fresh with a lot of it cooked while you waited. Our room had a garden view, so the hotel blocked any noise from the city streets. It was relaxing & peaceful. We could walk into the night markets in 15 mins & there were lots of restaurants, cafes & services right on our doorstep. We highly recommended this resort!

We liked absolutely everything!! We asked for transfer from airport. There were two young men waiting for us, helped with baggage and drove us to the hotel. There we were informed they did not have the room with sea view we booked - so they gave us free upgrade to the suit with beautiful view, which was super cool surprise (it never happen to us before). Room was spacious, clean, we have bath and also shower. Rooms, hotel and all facilities looks even better than on images here of booking. Free water, Coffee and Tea in the room daily.. We booked breakfast, which was great - many choices from western and asian meals, so I believe everyone can find something. Loved the fruits. And Coffee (for me) was better from the kettle than the one from Coffee Machine. Pool nice, we prefer beach which was big enough, and we enjoyed it a lot. But above all mentioned things there are people - staff was extremely polite and helpful, from receptionists to maids, everyone was always smiling and ready to help you. We are really happy we discovered this place - most people goes to all-inclusive hotels in other parts of Phu Quoc. But this hotel: 1) is close to airport (and offers complimentary transfer to/from), 2) has its own beach, 3)is close to main street, so many restaurants, bars, massage, shops are in walking distance, yet hotel is still quiet, 4) you can walk to night market 5) it's only like 20km to Cable Car & Kiss Bridge (Grab taxi was pretty cheap). So you can see more than just resort but still have "your" beach, pool, breakfast... From what we've seen on our walks to both sides from the hotel, Thien Thanh is by far the best choice in the area. Can only recommend. If we're back at Phu Quoc in future, there's no doubt where we will stay 😀

We stayed in bungalow 001. It's proximity to the pool and ocean was ideal. The enclosure also made me feel more secure.

The beautiful pool tends to attract party groups some evenings, or much later. Loud voices and loud music are not what I want. My suggestion is that the regular night security, check the pool area regularly to make sure noise is not bothering bungalow guests. Or perhaps, while minimal signage is best, perhaps added to pool rules should be rules on noise after 7 p.m.

The hotel was fantastic and definitely five stars. The room was large with a big bathroom. It is located in a good area with plenty of convenience stores and restaurants. It has an ATM machine on the road as you exit.The entrance has a mini statue of liberty which was cool. The hotel has a basic gym and upstairs the spa has a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The pool is large and has lots of sun loungers and seating. Food and drinks around the pool are available with good service. There is a private section of the beach with loungers and towels provided that was amazing. Value for money was excellent and I would definitely return if coming back to the island.
