The rooms and bed are really comfy, it was everyday cleaned. They location is really good, close to the city center area, and two seconds from Perfume river. Really nice breakfast! The best, their staff, Nikki and Rosi were amazing. Not just with the recommendations at Hue, that were amazing. They prepared a tour to see Hue important things in one day. They helped us with the most difficult situation that we had in Vietnam due to the incompetence of our previous hotel in Hanoi and the transportation company that we rent. They were for us, made all the need stuff to solve our situation. They help us to rent a cheap transport in a Share care to Hoi an, that was perfectly on time (not usual in Vietnam). Also they have available motor bikes for a good price that help us to see the most of Hue. Really happy to find them in our trip, they really made the point.

Nothing. Quality - price relation much more than expected.

I loved my short stay here and wish it had been longer. Rosy was wonderful, kind and caring. I was treated so well, given a great map and detailed information specific to what I wanted to do. The location is amazing, steps from the Perfume River and all kinds of cafe's and restaurants. My room was bright & clean with lots of glass & a sweet balcony that I enjoyed sitting on, especially at night. The breakfast was nice and altogether it was a great value. I highly recommend it.

Nothing. I loved my room, great lighting, lots of space, great a/c, hot water. Nice bathroom, comfy bed.

The room is impeccable and thoughtfully decorated. Although the homestay is located close to the walking street, it is relatively quiet and I got the room at the very top with a nice balcony and even had a window overlooking the river. They also organised a driver for me to visit the tombs at very short notice which was extremely helpful. There's also a really good restaurant almost next door, that's a bit hidden and serves only few but really good local dishes.

The staff is really attentive and helpful but also a tiny bit too keen (for my personal taste) on selling one of their private tourist tours over the Hai Van pass and even advised against taking the train. Other than that I had a really pleasant stay and can recommend staying here if you want to be close to the city center and still get a decent night sleep

We have really enjoyed our stay in the Sweethouse 2 in Hue: Moon and her family are super friendly, welcoming and full of great tips. The little dog Batman is adorable. The room was big, equipped with all necessary and also had a small balcony. The homestay is in a small alley, so there's no noise from the traffic. Just be aware: because the alley is small, taxis can't go directly there, you have to walk about 50m, but for us it was no issue. The location is very convenient: steps away from the river bank and walking distance to the main attractions.

Would give this place a 12 if possible. The staff from second 1 were incredible. Warmth, kindness,hospitality…the list of boxes ticked is endless. The room was large and spacious and the views from the balcony were wonderful. We arrived during a heavy rain shower and within minutes hot beverages were ready for us whilst we waited for our room. We were also given restaurant suggestions and discount tokens of which we gratefully availed of. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Big shout out to Susie also for making check out pain free. Nikki and Susie were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They call it a home stay and it feels absolutely like that.

Such an amazing stay at great value. The location was so convenient to the nightlife of Hue, being able to walk to river and get picked up for tours. The team was so helpful with coordinating pick up from airport and tours. Rosy was fantastic with assisting us the whole time and recommending restaurants and other things. The room was very nice and the breakfast so good. They were accomodating while not being pushy. Absolutely would recommend.

Stairs to get up to higher floors, just something to note for people travelling with big bags. Not an issue for us, but just want to give others a heads up.

We were so delighted to have found this homestay which is a wonderful family run business in the centre of Hue. The homestay itself is tucked down a small alley away from the main road and is an immaculate modern building with a number of rooms. The reception area is large where the family at the front desk all speak good English and they give all their guests a map and helpful briefing about the city on arrival. The family live in the building and are always around to help you and very attentive and kind. Our room was big with pristine white linen sheets, a large en-suite shower room and towels changed whenever needed. The breakfast is fabulous and we were able to order what we would like to eat the evening before. The choice is really varied, ranging from fresh fruit, milkshakes, homemade yoghurt, eggs and bacon and toast and jam. But most important of all the family were welcoming, charming and kind.

Absolutely nothing.

Breakfast was amazing and our deluxe room had a super nice view. The place was close to the Perfume River and many local restaurants, making sightseeing and food touring so easy. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. My partner and I look forward to returning in the future!

I suggest having an instructional sheet next to the bathroom so that we know how to turn on the hot water. We thought that we had no hot water until we realized that we had to turn on the black switch. The shampoo and body wash needed replenishing since the previous guest might have diluted the soaps with lots of water. Everything else was great!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Nikki and her upbeat personality. She immediately made us feel like family and even introduced us to Batman 🐶. Told us all the go-to spots and even helped us with booking a tour to the mausoleums and the citadel. The morning after we ate the best breakfast we have had in all vietnam so far and even met the owner Lien and told us the backstory behind the homestay. Overall we had a great stay and felt like family with all the staff. We definitely recommend this homestay to anyone stopping by Hue! ❤️💛❤️💛

The best free breakfast we have had at any hotel during our travels across the country. The hosts are extremely organized, friendly, fluent in English, and helped us with all our needs during our stay. The room was extremely clean, cozy, spacious and comfortable with a view of the lake as well as the city life on either sides from the balcony. The property is in a lane which leads to a lake which is perfect for a morning walk. There are many places to eat and drink at walkable distance from the homestay, which is quite convenient as it rains a lot in Hue. Places of interest such as the imperial city are not walkable but just a short grab ride away.

1) There is no elevator, so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs. But that's expected at this price point. 2) The hosts spend 10-15 minutes giving you information about tours etc as soon as you reach the property. While this can be quite handy to understand what Hue has to offer, it would be better to let guests go to the room and freshen up after a long journey rather than making them go through the information session right away. 3) Place is a bit difficult to find using Google Maps but the host were kind enough to send someone to help us find the property
