The rooms and bed are really comfy, it was everyday cleaned. They location is really good, close to the city center area, and two seconds from Perfume river. Really nice breakfast! The best, their staff, Nikki and Rosi were amazing. Not just with the recommendations at Hue, that were amazing. They prepared a tour to see Hue important things in one day. They helped us with the most difficult situation that we had in Vietnam due to the incompetence of our previous hotel in Hanoi and the transportation company that we rent. They were for us, made all the need stuff to solve our situation. They help us to rent a cheap transport in a Share care to Hoi an, that was perfectly on time (not usual in Vietnam). Also they have available motor bikes for a good price that help us to see the most of Hue. Really happy to find them in our trip, they really made the point.

Nothing. Quality - price relation much more than expected.

I loved my short stay here and wish it had been longer. Rosy was wonderful, kind and caring. I was treated so well, given a great map and detailed information specific to what I wanted to do. The location is amazing, steps from the Perfume River and all kinds of cafe's and restaurants. My room was bright & clean with lots of glass & a sweet balcony that I enjoyed sitting on, especially at night. The breakfast was nice and altogether it was a great value. I highly recommend it.

Nothing. I loved my room, great lighting, lots of space, great a/c, hot water. Nice bathroom, comfy bed.

We loved this homestay in Hue. The owners and staff were really friendly and treated everyone kindly. It felt like home. We were also allowed to use kitchen items when we got something for take away. It didn‘t feel like a homestay, it was more like a small hotel but with a warmer atmosphere. The location was very nice. It was only a short walk to a lot of restaurants and bars and you could easily get a Grab to the Citadelle. You could even walk but for us it was too hot.

The AC was located a bit unfortunate, it blew directly into our faces when we were sleeping. Other than that, everything was very nice.

We had a shared room for 2 adults and 2 children - super comfy beds, great shower and lots of space for luggage- small fridge you could use for your own supplies in also. Sam and Anh were so friendly and helpful, recommending places and organising travel. (So hot in Hue in June so was great to have same car between imperial city and the three tombs - we could leave bags in car and driver had cold water waiting for us after stops!). They also organised a car for our onward travel to Hoi A via Hai van pass, Lan Co beach and marble mountains - great trip! Breakfast good also - you order the night before so they can make fresh for you - pancakes and omelette both enjoyed by all!

Thank you so much to Lin and all of the staff at sweethouse! We were welcomed very warmly and given lots of information about the tours available and a map of Hue. The rooms were very clean (like the photos), beds comfy and also the bedsheets smelt so fresh! The aircon works well and the rooms are nice and cool. We had no issues with loud noises or sounds and managed to get a good nights sleep the whole time we stayed. There was a good selection at breakfast of food and drinks, cooked fresh and the choice to have more if wanted/needed - we were always full and the food was tasty. We decided to extend our stay by one night as my boyfriend was injured whilst we were here, and the staff could not do enough to help him/us we truly felt looked after. Extra thank you to Sam who helped us with our bags and always a smiling face when we saw her. Only photos we have are of the cute little dog (sorry) haha 🙂

Nothing - lovely stay from start to finish

This is such a lovely place to stay. An air of calmness is present, it is truly an oasis in Hue. The staff are so sweet and friendly, we really enjoyed meeting them. Our room was very nice, with a balcony, large window and three chairs! Breakfast was very good with a wide range of options. The location is easy to walk to the nightlife area and also to the citadel. We also hired bikes and cycled to the tombs and pagoda. Highly recommend Hue as a destination and to stay at this homestay.

I'm sad we only stayed one day - I recommend a minimum of two nights in Hue. Hopefully we can come back another time!

The room is impeccable and thoughtfully decorated. Although the homestay is located close to the walking street, it is relatively quiet and I got the room at the very top with a nice balcony and even had a window overlooking the river. They also organised a driver for me to visit the tombs at very short notice which was extremely helpful. There's also a really good restaurant almost next door, that's a bit hidden and serves only few but really good local dishes.

The staff is really attentive and helpful but also a tiny bit too keen (for my personal taste) on selling one of their private tourist tours over the Hai Van pass and even advised against taking the train. Other than that I had a really pleasant stay and can recommend staying here if you want to be close to the city center and still get a decent night sleep

We have really enjoyed our stay in the Sweethouse 2 in Hue: Moon and her family are super friendly, welcoming and full of great tips. The little dog Batman is adorable. The room was big, equipped with all necessary and also had a small balcony. The homestay is in a small alley, so there's no noise from the traffic. Just be aware: because the alley is small, taxis can't go directly there, you have to walk about 50m, but for us it was no issue. The location is very convenient: steps away from the river bank and walking distance to the main attractions.

Nothing really

Would give this place a 12 if possible. The staff from second 1 were incredible. Warmth, kindness,hospitality…the list of boxes ticked is endless. The room was large and spacious and the views from the balcony were wonderful. We arrived during a heavy rain shower and within minutes hot beverages were ready for us whilst we waited for our room. We were also given restaurant suggestions and discount tokens of which we gratefully availed of. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Big shout out to Susie also for making check out pain free. Nikki and Susie were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They call it a home stay and it feels absolutely like that.

Such an amazing stay at great value. The location was so convenient to the nightlife of Hue, being able to walk to river and get picked up for tours. The team was so helpful with coordinating pick up from airport and tours. Rosy was fantastic with assisting us the whole time and recommending restaurants and other things. The room was very nice and the breakfast so good. They were accomodating while not being pushy. Absolutely would recommend.

Stairs to get up to higher floors, just something to note for people travelling with big bags. Not an issue for us, but just want to give others a heads up.
