Super experience. Perfect balance of price, comfort stay and local life, right at the heart of the historic Hue. There’s a choice of rooms using the lift or walking up the stairs and I opt for the stairs. My room is of a good size, well-lit and clean with many windows for a panoramic surrounding. There are both bikes and moto-bikes to choose from, but I was too busy with different tours so couldn’t make use of any of the choices. Lai, the lady owner, and her husband are very kind and helpful, they never shy away from explaining stuff I want to ask about life in the ancient capital that has so much of history to discover. In fact she told me about Hue more than a tour guide. May be I am Vietnamese that we can have a little bit more to share, but I don’t doubt that she would take whatever time needed to happily converse with any non-Vietnamese guests. In the end I extended my stay, so did some other travellers, Vietnamese and foreigners alike.

Really kind, friendly staff and the owner provides a car/ driver service at a reasonable cost to visit various sights locally. Bright, spacious, clean room with a BATH ...our first in weeks of travel! Great value for money. Good location but can be noisy from local Karaoke although this stops at 10pm. Note... breakfast is no longer supplied by the hotel but there are places to eat nearby.

Flooded alley. Not the hotel's fault but we had to walk across stepping stones due to drain flooding the entire entrance...this is an ongoing issue so may cause problems for anyone with a suitcase or mobility issues.

Friendly staff, great location, issues were dealt with fast and effeciently, lots of windows in the room for natual light.

Currently there is a backed up drain on the side street you access the hotel. You may have to drag your case through very suspect water if you can't carry it. The lady from the hotel saw us and came with a moped to get it through. Could be worth calling ahead. Not enough hot water to fill a bath so probably not worth paying to have a bath in the room. If you are on a top floor there is no lift, can be hard with a big case.

The hotel itself is what you can expect from the description, there was hot water in the shower, room was clean enough, a/c working ok, the staff trying to be helpful but language barrier existed, as some of them didn't speak any English. Elevator working ok. Few minutes walking to the night market/street full of bars, restaurants and shops.

Access to the hotel is thru a side street that was half-flooded and during the day many motorcycles were parked there on the dry side.

Good location. Comfortable bed. Big shower with tub. We arrived at 2am due to a delayed flight and there was someone there to receive us. Though we had to wake him up as he was asleep on the couch, which is understandable.

Really minor but they didn't have soap near the sink, just in the shower area, which was harder to get to due to the tub position.

Let me start by saying that this is obviously a two star Hotel so...keep that in mind. However the room was super big and very clean. Bed was comfy and big enough for two people. AC was working perfectly. The bathroom is big enough and was also clean. The location is great - the night market and many good restaurants are within walking distance (10 mins max) , the imperial city is also eazily reachable. The staff is also very kind and sweet, just like everywhere in Vietnam. Value for money is absolutely astonishing. We only spent a couple of hours in the hotel and used it as a starting point to explore the city so that was the best option for us.

The hotel is located on a side alley which makes it a lot quieter than other hotels, but it's still close to popular downtown places. The best feature of this property is the family who manages it because they are very honest and laid back and do not hassle the guests about upgrading or other services. They also had motorbikes available for rent, and didn't ask us to settle our final bill until checkout. The beds were very comfortable although noise from other guests woke us up one morning. Overall one of the most relaxing and trustworthy hotels I've found in the country, they really know how to make foreign travelers feel at ease.

The furniture was a bit worn, and there were stains on the walls. The shower was also broken making it difficult to control water flow. I think these things could be easily improved if they took a short break for renovations. On the first night we also woke up at 6am due to noisy guests above us with stomping, crying babies, and doors slamming... this seems to be a common issue in the country due to morning culture and lack of soundproofing.

We absolutely loved this place! Had the best sleep here, because the bed was very comfortable and there was hardly any noise here because we were in an alley and on the fifth floor. We had a really great, private balcony with a nice view (too bad it was rainy). The bath was small for tall Dutch people, but still very nice to relax in. Very friendly staff who were super helpful and easy to get in touch with. Spent a day visiting some sights with the owner and had dinner after, which was super fun because we actually learnt some things about the Vietnamese culture as well. Highly recommend this place!

Nothing I can think of. Just be aware that the boiler makes a loud squeeky sound when it's heating. Scared us the first time :)

A great stay throughout. Super-helpful and lovely hosts, the hotel is very well run and enthusiastic. Any tours or rentals or such you need for fair prices. The hotel is nice and quiet, tucked away in a small side alley, but very centrally located - few steps to a good convenience store, a few minutes from the main nightlife and restaurant area. Rooms are nice and thought through, with everything needed. The fifth floor room with the terrace that we were staying in also has the great view from your own terrace. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel,with a great location off the busy road and only a short walk to many restaurants and walking street, 30 mins to the ancient city. Older style building, with large rooms and some shabby chic charm.very cosy and comfortable beds.
