The staff are very friendly, discreet and helpful. The breakfast is very good and complete. The homemade passion fruit jam was excellent! The hotel is very well located, at the end of a very quiet alley. The room and bathroom are spacious, comfortable and clean.

We booked our stay through Booking.com, and one thing to keep in mind is to double-check the room type you choose. Initially, we were given a room without a window, which wasn’t clearly indicated in the booking. However, once we mentioned this at the reception, the issue was resolved extremely quickly — we even received a free upgrade to a room with a window, which was a wonderful surprise. The overall experience was very positive. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. While the furnishings were perhaps a little older, they were well-maintained and didn’t detract from the stay at all. The hotel itself is generally well-kept, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the entire stay feel warm and welcoming.

The bed was very comfortable, room was nice, clean and well kept. The air-conditioning unit was relatively new and worked well. Hot water was plentiful. Cleaners were friendly and we always had fresh towels and water etc. The location is pretty good, close to the walking streets and the citadel and also its quiet, which is a rarity in Vietnam! The breakfast is good (although I didn't always make it down zzzz), they have a menu of different options, which will definitely get you ready for the day. Omelettes, fried rice and things like that. They have a lounge, I ordered food from the Grab app a few times and ate there, pretty handy! Last but not least, the staff....so so nice and friendly. They were so welcoming and accommodating. We arrived early from Ninh Binh and Tony kindly offered us a temporary room to rest until ours was ready — something that had never happened to us before, and it really speaks to the quality and care of this hotel. Our room was spectacular, breakfast was amazing, and the location is perfect! We also rented motorbikes and did laundry through them. Tony and Van were incredibly helpful throughout our stay — such wonderful people. We would absolutely choose this place again. They truly make your stay special. The entire staff was excellent — congratulations to all of them!

Look no further if you are considering booking a hotel on a budget in Hue. It’s tucked away down a little side street that is quiet enough to get a restful sleep but only a few minutes walk from lots of restaurants and bars. The staff are all exceptionally kind and helpful. They provided us with local activity and food recommendations, and we were also able to rent a scooter through the hotel. Our room was small, but had everything we could need for a couple of nights in the city. The weather was very hot through our stay but the AC was quiet and kept the room cool. Showers were hot and toiletries are provided in the bathroom, which although was a wet room it drained efficiently and dry out fairly quickly. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Vietnam, including pancakes and fruit, and finally a place that doesn’t use that awful tasting sugary bread for toast! This place does all the basics and does them really well.

The location was terrific allowing us to walk to the market and Citadel. It was central but hidden in an alley so very quiet at night. Our rooms were spacious and had a kettle, fridge and water. The staff were very helpful and spoke amazing English. The breakfast was nice and freshly made. For the price, location and service it was good.

The hotel is an old building without a lift so that might be difficult for some people. Our toilet was inside the shower so that was unusual and a little cramped. There was a slight old/mould smell in bathroom.

Rare breed, I stayed at many small family owned places, this place has the right stuff with hospitality from the first greeting to the last farewell were all professionally done. The place is clean, tasteful decor, the breakfasts are freshly prepared and provided useful information. The location is great, close to many eateries and a block away from the nightly walking streets. Bike rental on site is a plus. Staff also speaks both English and French. Would stay here again.

overall, it was a good experience. the hotel is not perfect but very good value for money: - Staff is very helpful and friendly (they went the extra mile to help us). they speak perfect English as well. they gave us excellent advice for hue - rooms are the cleanest we had in vietnam and everything was in good conditions - we could checking early and were kindly propose to take a shower after check out - We rent motobike there for 150k a day (seems to be same price as nearby bike rentals) and the bike was in good condition (the hotel provided us their own clean helmets)

- the shower is close to the toilets (wet toilets. very common in Asia) - Adding a trash can and tissues in the bedroom could be nice - No elevator (ok for us but could be difficult for people with mobility issue)

I would strongly recommend Hue Nino for backpackers or families willing to discover Hue.
