We loved the space in the room and the windows to the outside. Many rooms appeared only to have windows onto an internal corridor. The bed was huge and so comfortable -firm with a great mattress topper. The towels were the best we've had in Vietnam. They actually absorbed and they gave us hand towels too. The breakfast was good- plenty of fruit and local dishes including pho at the weekend. Eggs were cooked beautifully to order. The staff were very helpful. The location worked well for us as we walked or cycled everywhere. There's a great Thai restaurant across the road and the pedestrianised walking street is round the corner. The room even had a hairdryer with some oomph! The room was cleaned when we asked which we really appreciated. It was well worth paying for a suite to have the space and a seating area after travelling for several weeks. Noise did travel between rooms and being on the first floor meant we heard noise from reception. We would have loved to borrow an iron but their ironing is a paid service. The shower was powerful but didn't stay hot for very long. A fan would have helped ventilate the room as the aircon was sometimes too cold!

My room was great for the price, totally unexpected as the price for 4 nights was so reasonable. I had a room with a large window. The reception staff were super friendly and really helpful. The chef was really cheerful and breakfast was good quality and great coffee! Location perfect, so close to everything Oh and my room was cleaned every single day unless I requested otherwise.

I understand that people are busy and this can lead to being less friendly but a very small number of the staff made me feel like they didn't really like the guests which is a shame as almost everyone was delightful especially the ladies on reception and the ladies preparing the rooms.

Room was fine. When something was not, I advised the staff and they fixed it immediately. eg: no hot water, bulb not working. Bed was comfortable. A/C worked and we had a window you could leave open on the 3rd floor for fresh air.

Breakfast is limited - especially for vegetarian. So many nice places in Vietnam, so we ate breakfast out after the first try at breakfast in the hotel. Only sweet bread for toast and 1 small toaster. Eggs were nice and cooked to order. Fruit was limited but they did top up from time to time. Felt the staff here less enthusiastic compared to reception and other staff.

It was comfortable enough (soft-medium mattresses - 5 out of 10 on the hardness scale) for me to return and stay again. Friendly and helpful staff, mostly quiet and located in a very good and convenient location. Buffet breakfast is included and rather nice with several selections on offer. Rooms have A/C, free WiFi, a small fridge, a flatscreen TV, and private bathrooms (good hot water but limited due to the reservoir heater). Rooms are accessible by an elevator. Excellent value for money.

It's not a negative but noteworthy point to point out that there's only limited motorbike parking outside and mostly not undercover.

I stayed one night after a bad experience from another hotel. This hotel was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. I don’t understand some reviews saying that the hotel and rooms are old. The rooms are very quiet, clean, big and bright with a huge window, soft and comfortable bed, internet enabled TV, fridge and good desk for working. The bathroom was clean with a walk in shower. Breakfast was good and included eggs freshly made to order and a lot of fruit. Staff are so lovely, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

When in Hue, I usually have a preferred hotel to stay in (located nearby, down an alleyway next to Winmart), but unfortunately, this option was unavailable to me. After researching (as I need a pet friendly hotel), I discovered this hotel - and in the area I prefer to stay in. I also managed to get a better deal using Booking.com rather than their walk-in rate, which also included a breakfast. The hotel is a narrow fronted building with 4 floors and only has limited parking for motorbikes outside their entrance (partially sheltered). Some tourists worry about the security in these instances, but in 18 months of travelling I have never had any theft issues (and I've accidentally left my navigation phone overnight on my bike....and it was still there in the morning. I've yet to use, or even open, my brand new lock I bought when I purchased my motorbike....shows how honest most of the Vietnamese are!!). There are no problems at this establishment either. 👍👍 The welcome I received upon arrival was very good and hospitable, and I was even assisted with my bags and shown to my room (on the 4th floor via a small elevator). All contact with the staff was always friendly and accommodating....I was even allowed to have breakfast after it had stopped being served. The breakfast was a modest, yet substantial buffet with enough selection to suit me adequately, and quality was ok, but nothing fancy. For the inclusive price, I would say a bargain....breakfast staff were also very friendly. The hotel is not new, nor modern, and cleanliness is only average. It's not filthy but far from spotless and justified in comparison to the price. No complaints from me but I will highlight a few issues or maintenance problems others may experience in preparedness.

Friendly is the first word I would use to describe the staff at this hotel. They speak great English and are always smiling and willing to help in whatever way. If you ask for tourism advice, they are very helpful and answer all of your questions. I had two friends staying there that had some issues with the police and motorbike parking. Although the hotel wasn’t involved, the kind woman working at the desk paid to fine fee for them just to be nice! I was very impressed by this. The rooms are immaculate and cleaned daily. The breakfast is a buffet and amazing! There were even fruit options. The location is right in the middle of things and you feel right in the action since the hotel always seems full and popular. Would definitely recommend!

This hotel lives up to its name! The staff, from the owner to the people at the reception and those serving the breakfast, were all extraordinarily kind and helpful. The room was good: spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The breakfast was excellent, offering something for every taste. The location is good, with most sights being within walking distance. This is a great place to stay in Hue.

Great hotel with basic and comfortable rooms. I got a free room upgrade and really enjoyed my stay. Good buffet breakfast. Centrally located next to great restaurants and night walking street. I confirm staff is friendly :)

I wanted to rent a bike to ride myself to Hoi An and they offered to book a tour instead because the road is very bad. I did the road from Hoi An back, and it's in perfect condition!

- Breakfast buffet small, but very good (and even large fruit selection with melon, dragon fruit, passion fruit, banana, pineapple) - very nice staff - good English at the reception - well organized - Wifi - so far the cheapest hotel, but very good! - good motorcycle rental with a phone holder and if you rent after 12 noon and return before midnight, you only pay for half a day - Bus ticket sale to the next town comparably cheap - Very clean (only a small hole in the bed sheet, but still very clean and white) - Room service - Location is very good (close to a few good restaurants, gyms and bars) - Card payment for hotel costs possible (but not for tours or buses) - Bed was very comfortable

- Very loud construction work early in the morning... - Room very noisy - The air conditioning had a timer set and came on once at night... Here I would have found it better if the room service turned this off once in advance.
