Great location; near enough to the ancient city and the nightlife, but not loud at all. Clean, spacious rooms with good amenities at a great price. And the most wonderful staff imaginable: I had an issue with my visa, and they were able to help me figure it out, even accompanying me to the immigration office to help interpret and vouch for me! Even while staying at another place in Hue I am invited to come back to the hotel lobby to sit and chat any time I like.

Very cheap right near the walking street. The staff was very helpful a woman gave me the ability to choose between two rooms and told me about non touristic sites of the city. The security guard was very friendly at late night.

Awful hard mattress and noisy. People yelled in Vietnamese on the street till 01:30 am and the traffic starts horning at 04:30 am so use ear plugs or use 4 small pillows which you find in your bed put them on your ear to sleep somehow.

The property gives you the vibe of the hotel in early 2000s but well managed and clean. They change the sheets daily. The location is central with lots of nearby restaurants. The staffs are super nice and helpful! They are really the best value of the hotel. Highly recommend the hotel

Excellent location, decent room with hot shower, fridge but our favourite thing was the staff they went above and beyond to help with parking the bike, bags and just general conversation, they were really nice friendly people and a credit to their workplace

It was two twin beds and we requested double but we could have pushed them together but as it was only for one night we didn’t bother

The room was big and clean. The shower was hot and had good pressure, there was also a bathtub which was an added bonus. Can also rent motorbikes from here. The host was AMAZING! I forgot my driving licence at the previous hotel and she called up and organised to have it posted within 24 hours. She recommended good places to go and booked us a bus at late notice and for a very good price. The place is very nice and for a very reasonable price. It is centrally located near the citadel, river and lots of bars and restaurants. Also close to the train station to get to Da Nang and Hoi An. All staff very friendly and even offered us clean towels everyday.

Great value for money - comfortable beds, aircon, bath, hot water and very clean. Great location in Hue. The staff are really friendly and helpful with recommendations around the area. They were able to book us a tour and extend our stay. They also offer daily cleaning services.

There was no window in our room. Also, there are drinks in the fridge in the room which we were charged for drinking at the end of our stay. We have stayed in places before where they offer complimentary drinks in the mini fridge. It would be good to have a notice to say that you have to pay for the drinks and how much they are. I will say that the drinks were pretty reasonably priced which is good!

Everything was clean & the bed was very comfortable! Good price & helpful staff. Always smiling :) Aircon was really good, there’s a fridge in the room & a tv. Perfect location! Also, there’s a lady selling banh mi just on the right hand side when you exit the hotel and they are very tasty!! Only 10k vnd as well!! Would definitely come back to Tran Ly Hotel!

The staff are al so friendly they go above and beyond to interact and talk with you. The room was good, big bed and comfortable- we were expecting uncomfortable beds based on the reviews but they were not hard or uncomfortable. shower is hot. the location is great.

the wi-fi is a bit patchy. also bigger pillows and cover would make it better, the duvet did not fit the bed.

The price ratio quality is simply the best, clean large room with ensuite bathroom. The location is unbeatable, right in the center where all restaurants, bars are located. You cross the bridge and the river and you can go walking to the citadel, go early to avoid the crowds and take good pictures. What makes this place is Anh, the bubbly and smiley receptionist, who takes care of you as if it was a five star hotel and whole the staff in general that is so so nice. I was impressed. They called me by my name and made me feel almost at home in Vietnam. Totally recommendable, I will come back

Amazing stay with the most amazing staff. Everyone did their best to help make the stay pleasant, going above and beyond to sort food, tours, airport transfers at below-tourist prices. Perfect location in walking distance to the Citadel and with a plethora of bars and restaurants just minutes away. Rooms extremely clean, strong air con, powerful hot shower - a bit dated but well maintained and perfect for the low price. Would highly recommend!
