The staff at Kha were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. They really made every aspect of our stay an absolute delight. They were very helpful with regard to sharing local knowledge, and the motorbike rental (from Kha) we used was well-priced. The breakfasts we enjoyed were tasty and filling, the coffee was excellent. Some simple snacks and drinks were available for purchase in the room and downstairs. We were supplied with complimentary bottled water each day. We enjoyed having a kettle for use- it would have been nice to have some tea or coffee supplied in the room. That was not a major issue, we bought what we needed at the local market. Overall the building is showing its age, much like me. Regardless, the staff made every effort to ensure that the rooms, hallways and other common areas were kept clean. The room was a little small, but the bed was big and very comfortable. I slept well. It had quiet, effective airconditioning. We were also able to open an internal window into a light-well, with plants to get air circulation. The toiletries were nice. Kha is well- located, with many attractions in the city, easily walkable. In the surrounding area there were many, excellent eateries and coffee-shops. Despite the streets being very busy and noisy in the evenings, Kha's location down the alley ensured that the noise was not at all disruptive from within the hostel.

Hue can be a very wet city, and we did notice that the room would smell musty after it had been closed for a while. The aircon helped to dry the air, however, so the musty smell soon dissipated. The bathroom fan was extremely noisy. Once the steam from our showers has dissipated, we needed to turn it off. Overall, this did not detract from our stay, but the hostel might look into dehumidifier use in rooms to mitigate mustiness.

First of all I have being comeing to this hostel each time I visit it’s the most comfortable friendly lovely place I’ve stayed in hue location perfect,cheap price great English communication a well orgernised hostel it’s just perfect on my next trip will be comeing again .A big thanks to the beautiful Receptionist Mai & Le for your wonderful service your English speaking is excellent to staff & management thanks and last of all expecily hung Tin one of the sweetest people you will ever meet at a hotel thanks ❤️I’m from Australia I recommend all who travel to hue to visit this hostel

The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable and breakfast large and tasty. Central location, you walk onto the main nightlife area. All the above was great but the main attraction - the staff. I have been traveling for 7 years now and honestly can't remember someone as cheery, genuinely caring, helpful and kind as Lê. Booked a bus for me, with a discount, nd organised another when this was canceled by company. didn't hassle me to buy tours like others and treated all guests and locals in the same altruistic way...1 in a million. Thank you :-)

The hotel’s best features are its location and staff. It’s conveniently close to bars and restaurants, and they offer a small restaurant where you can order breakfast. At only 90k VND for a dorm bed, it's both affordable and well-situated. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful—offering great local tips and assisting me in booking tours. I joined the city tour, DMZ tour, and Phong Nha cave tour, which were the highlights of my stay. Highly recommended for the attentive service and overall convenience!

Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to assist with any request. They provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, and even helped arrange transportation for my excursions. My stay at Kha Hotel was nothing short of perfect. The combination of superb location, elegant accommodations, excellent amenities, and outstanding service made my visit to Hue unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hue, whether for business or leisure. I can't wait to return!

Great location, still close enough to walk to food and sights but soundproof against the loud street noise. We were greeted by Lucy who was delightful and extremely helpful with everything we needed. The hotel was extremely clean and the air conditioning worked very well. We were also provided a map of the city by Lucy who took the time to circle some points of interest and discuss prices etc of the sights.

Maybe it was miscommunication? We booked a bus to Phong Nha through the hotel (we thought it would be a transit bus), however we ended up on a tour bus which stopped at places along the way instead of going directly there which wasn’t what we were expecting and dragged on a bit.

Very clean, staff do a great job running the place. The location is perfect: right in middle of town but still quiet at night. Beds are spacious and comfortable. Plug sockets, lamps and good curtain on each bed.

Lots of people to a room so unfortunately we had some extremely loud snorers that stopped us getting pretty much any decent sleep. The room we had was dark, not much natural light. But not much the hostel can do about this

Mai and Lucy are very welcoming and gave me great advices for restaurants or visiting tips ! They were eager to help and chat, thank you very much ! Beds are very comfy and with big curtains One small locker with a key and one big locker for the backpack so very good Good and clean showers

Maybe a bigger and more comfy space for guests to meet together, as at the moment there is only the restaurant

The stuff was helpful, welcoming and ready to please us with amazing tour options and services to move from Hue to Hoi an with motorbike. Totally suggested to reach the city and at the same time explore the Amazon landscape and stops that they propose. Breakfast was satisfying and tasty.

The only thing that I feel to say is that our room had only one window facing the indoor of the hotel itself. There was no windows facing the outside to get fresh air and therefore the room was always quite humid despite the presence of a fan and A/C (not working so well either).

Lily, the receptionist, is very welcoming and speaks excellent English (et un peu français aussi). When I arrived, she took the time to explain the city's points of interest to me. She let me leave my bag at the reception desk all day after check-out and even lent me a towel so I could take another shower at 6 p.m. before leaving. This is the best hotel service I've seen.
