I have to say that Hong Thien 1 Hotel surprised and impressed me from the start. I received a very warm welcome and was upgraded to a really great room because it was possible. The room and bathroom were very clean and cleaned daily. I was treated to a wonderful breakfast every day. You can relax by a very well-maintained small pool. My bus tours to Hoi An and Hanoi were also booked and went smoothly. I can only say positive things about the hotel. Xuan, Thuy and the hotel owner are fantastic hosts and looked after me very well. I felt completely at home. That's why I give them 10/10. What impressed me most was that you are warmly welcomed as a person and as a guest. That is a positive exception.

During my stay at Hotel Hong Thien 1, I felt welcome and comfortable from the very first moment. The check-in was exceptional, with a small fruit salad and a nice cup of tea. The three main staff members were very friendly, each had their own charm and always a friendly smile. Whenever I had a request, I could always rely on them to take care of it. My room offered everything I needed, was bright and clean. As the hotel is close to the tourist district, it was sometimes a bit loud in the evening - but the music usually stopped around 10pm. Breakfast was also very good, with a menu of about ten Asian and European options to choose from. As I liked the city Hue, its many attractions and the accommodation so much, I extended my stay by a few days. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Hong Thien 1 to anyone visiting the area.

we arrived early in the morning by night bus and we were invited to have breakfast. The breakfast was very tasty (best banana pancake we've had in south east Asia so far, and great omelette with baguette), a plate of fruit and the coffee was nicely strong. After that, she checked us in at 9 am. we didn't expect it and it was really really nice since we didn't sleep too well in the bus. we received new towels daily. the owners are always open to chat, give advice on what to see in Hue and the services they offer without being pushy. great location in the centre but calm at night.

The staff were exceptional. Incredibly friendly and accommodating. They assisted us with finding cheaper transport and had plenty of options for nearby trips and tours. They allowed us an early check in (at 10am) for no additional fee. The breakfast was absolutely incredible - we had banana smoothies and omlettes and banana chocolate pancakes. The pool was lovely and clean and deep! The location is fantastic, and the hotel is relatively quiet despite being near the hustle and bustle.

We had a minor ant problem in our room & the bed was very hard.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us plan our activities, which I greatly appreciated. They also offer motorbike rentals at a very reasonable price, making it convenient for exploring the area. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the tourist center, with easy access to restaurants, buses, and the Citadel, all within walking distance in just a few minutes. The pool was another highlight, providing a perfect spot to cool off and relax after a full day of sightseeing. I highly recommend staying here!"

the staff were so friendly, when we arrived early the first morning they offered us a shower and breakfast which was a relief after a long bus journey! when we returned to check into the room, the lady on reception had upgraded us to a quadruple room with a balcony free of charge! so kind and such good value for money. the breakfast and fruit platter was lovely😋😄 would definitely recommend to stay here

Hotel is very comfortable with comfy beds! Breakfast is a la carte choice and very tasty with more European items and local items! Renting a scooter was also very easily and they provided me with a free raincoat since it was raining heavily. Location is good, close to many restaurants and bars and quite close to imperial city.

The close watching of the family/staff running the hotel might be a little uncomfortable at first and makes it you being watched but they are very nice!

Very helpful and friendly people running the hotel. Gave us a map and tips for the best place for eating out - it was! Great and very reasonably priced food. The hotel was located just off the busy main street, so convenient but quiet for a good sleep. A comfy basic clean room with all facilities we needed. Also a pool for cooling off after sight seeing, which was a real bonus. The breakfast was great, omelette bahn mi, fresh fruit and banana syrup pancakes with coffee or tea. We didn't need lunch. Organised a 5am taxi for us for the same price as a Grab. A great value for money stay.

This hotel was in a very central location, close to a wide variety of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and very close to the Perfume River. It was just a Main Street and very quiet. It has a lovely pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered variety and a fresh fruit platter was served. Our room had a little balcony. We appreciated the fridge and kettle.

The weather was quite wet and the hotel did not have enough umbrellas. Everything else was good.

We were early. We were greeted happily and made us tea and fruit. Our room was upgraded. Complimentary breakfast on 1st day. Breakfast was so enjoyable. Helped us with booking our overnight sleeper which left late arvo. They invited us to check out and spend our wait time in the pool area. The pool is perfect. Everyone was so kind. They deserve 5 stars.

Location was great - no problem there.
