The staff were exceptionally friendly, cheerful and helpful. They would be the number one reason why we would of course stay here again given the opportunity. The breakfast was very good, more so for the fact that it opened at 06:00, which all early travelers like us will appreciate.

It would perhaps have been better if the hotel had not allowed a party including very loud music and karaoke to occur on the 11th floor while we were staying in a room on the 10th. On the plus side, it ended before 9:30 PM. I do not in any way fault the desk, housekeeping or front door staff for this. Otherwise the evenings were quiet.

This was probably our favourite hotel in our 2 weeks in Vietnam, even though it doesn't have a baloney it has an incredible rooftop, and the room itself was massive with a beautiful bathroom which we needed after staying in cheaper places for a while. Breakfast was excellent, and if you stay or 3 days or more you get little perks like a free cocktail in the upstairs bar and discount on laundry which we actually needed! Also helped organise the DMZ tour for us and all the staff were very pleasant. Moreover, it's just outside the busy "pub street" area but still manages to be quiet and peaceful. Netflix ready to cast on the TV too if you wanna chill after a busy day. All in all, an excellent stay.

I don't really have any criticism, no rooms have baloneys but it's just the way the hotel was built. It's too hot outside anyway so you just end up hugging the aircon inside. There's another bar downstairs which wasn't open because it was under renovations but I'm sure will be great when it opens. Yep nothing to complain about!

1. Excellent location, just opposite the walking street. 2. Room size is very good 3. Having open staircase direct to Restaurant which is very nice as it skip the time waiting for lift. 4. Good balcony that enjoy wind breeze 5. Good breakfast, have many variety. Was so happy to experience the traditional dessert that didn't try during my trip. 6. Reception did great help to assist to arrange a transport from Hotel to Da Nang 7. Room i staying is romance suite, but only know that when i come back and reception did double confirm that i staying in Deluxe Double bed with city view? No sure but happy with the free upgrade.

1. Sound proof at morning wasn't that good 2. The pool at roof top is great view but is too windy, can't place the clothes aside as it will get blow away. 3. Front door will be pack with travel bus sometime and difficult to cross the road as it block the view.

We were very surprised at how nice this hotel was. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful, friendly and professional - all with good English. The room was very large with a great city view, including a balcony - it was very quiet and all the amenities were provided. Good restaurant on the ground floor. Breakfast buffet had a very large selection of Asian and western foods. Good location with easy access

No real faults of this hotel

The location was perfect. We could walk to many restaurants and it was only about a 15 minute walk to the citadel. The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed some swims in the rooftop pool. The best part was the staff. They were all amazing. Very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at the romance.

Great location, comfortable beds, great huge selection at breakfast and all the staff were amazing, so kind and helpful especially Chung who saved us a lot of hassle by booking our flights last minute after they were cancelled last minute on the day we were leaving. Thank you so much Chung, you deserve a promotion, we got to Haiphong!! 👍

Great variety for breakfast, room was very large. Biggest bed we've ever stayed in! Bath salts provided to soak in the tub. Rooftop pool was great to cool down in the hot afternoons.

It is a bit dated but good value for money. Service to the pool area can be quite slow.

Location is excellent here, the hotel was fantastic with great staff and the room was very clean and comfortable, pool was up on the 11th floor, was great for a cool off, situated close to the food streets near Chu Van An street, we would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was great, lots to choose from and many local options to try. The room was spacious, the bathroom was nice, big and clean, the personnel was very forthcoming.

The hallway smells a bit dank due to humidity, but it wasn't a big problem, you only notice it when walking from the elevator to the room.

The staff were very welcoming, helpful and courteous. They can arrange seemingly everything with a local phone call, and our taxis to see sights out of the city were reliable and very reasonably priced. The rooftop pool is large and commands stunning views over the city. Our rooms were smart, quiet and cleaned to a very high standard. Breakfast was tasty and varied, with something to suit all tastes and we found ourselves devouring several courses! It also starts early, which enabled us to make the most of our day. The bar on the ground floor is very comfortable, with an amazing ceiling, which is an aquarium filled with koi! The food and drink prices are on a par with restaurants/bars in town and have the same wide variety and high quality as breakfast. The location is perfect, within a few minutes walk of all the city sights and about 15 mins to the river and 25 mins to the Citadel. Overall it was an extremely enjoyable stay in a great city location, made extra special by the very helpful and efficient staff and excellent facilities.
