It was very reasonably priced and a great value for what it cost. It’s a small hotel. The staff were amazing 11 out of 10. Friendly, attentive and couldn’t do enough for you. Location was excellent. Breakfast was always freshly prepared and enjoyable.

The bathroom was a bit crowded and dated. You get some noise from the street below but it didn’t disturb our sleep and ear plugs were provided but we didn’t use them.

This is my third stay at the Orchid Hotel over a number of years and visits to Hue. The hotel is really well located, has friendly and professional staff, great breakfast, and really comfortable rooms

The only challenge as with any hotel in the heart of the walking street/tourist street is the karaoke bars in the evening. However, there isn't anything the hotel can do to limit that.

We really enjoyed our stay at Orchid Hotel, Hue. Located in the centre it provided easy access to street food vendors and lively bars. Kind and very obliging staff, and an excellent breakfast made our time at the hotel very comfortable. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. We would recommend the Orchid to anyone looking to stay in Hue. Special thanks to Sunny and staff.

Being in central area and close to bars loud music can interfere with sleeping at the weekend

Our room was beautiful and huge, and the bathroom was really nice. The location is very central. The breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful.

Just an FYI for unadventurous travellers. The hotel is down an alley and you have to pass a bunch of outdoor restaurants and lots of scooters to get to the door. Not a problem, but unusual. There is no elevator. Breakfast is on the top floor (5th or 6th) in a hotel across the alley. There is a tiny little elevator, which is often not available because hotel guests are using it, so you may have to walk up or down. The stairwell is very narrow (my average size husband touched the walls with both shoulders on the corners). None of this was a problem to us. However, if you want a Sheraton-style hotel, there is one not far away for only five times the price!

The staff, especially Harry and Miss Kaity, were extremely friendly and made sure that we felt comfortable throughout our 2-night stay. Kaity was helpful booking private cars for some tours we were interested in. The rooms were clean and tastefully furnished, the beds comfortable and the WIFI strong. John and Emma served a beautiful breakfast, which could be ordered from a menu, but as many dished as you wished. They were attentive and offered me several cups ginger tea and fruits during our stay.

As it was weekend, there was some music playing across the street, but the hotel provided earplugs.

The Orchid staff are super nice, friendly and responsive. Even before we arrived, the Orchid staff arranged some transportation (from airport and later to Hoi An) and tours for us; they were prompt and responsive. They communicated well in English and were eager to help make our stay as wonderful as possible. The breakfast was nice and provided various Asian and Western options - they always had fresh fruit available. The staff was so nice and pleasant, I look forward to coming back and visiting the new location starting next year.

The noise (especially the bass) from the 24/7 karaoke bar next door was pretty prominent. I appreciated the ear plugs provided which helped me to get to sleep. This will be less of an issue at the new location.

Friendly and helpful staff-they really went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. They recommended some fantastic restaurants ( Madame Thu - also try Nina’s) and sorted out our rail travel to Da Nang. Aura cocktails next door is an experience!! Location is really central and close to citadel. Comfy bed, great freshly cooked breakfast to order in the morning - great noodles and banana pancakes. Loads of excellent restaurants and bars really close by.

Good value for money and good location. Very friendly and welcoming staff who couldn't do enough to help me. Emma was particularly helpful and kind helped organise a day trip for me, print off boarding passes, arrange a taxi and even got the kitchen to do me a takeaway breakfast for the airport.

Hotel is on main walking street so when I arrived on the Saturday it was very noisy until early hours and then also at 7.30am. Can't be helped by hotel and they did say to me on arrival it would be noisier at the weekend but something to think about if need to get up for early starts.

Dear reader I am new to the whole world of trip reviews contribution and I have always preferred to be an observer. However, my fantastic experience at the Orchid Hotel pushed me further to contribute to the good fame of this hotel. I have spent part of my Vietnamese journey in this hotel in Hue and it felt like a true homestay. Starting from the welcome, we enjoyed a fantastic location (15-20 minutes from the imperial citadel) and a true Vietnamese breakfast service (Bun Bo Hue, fruits and rice cakes). The location also turned out to be a walking street area during the evening, closer to the best restaurants of the area. The service of the hotel was also amazing. Besides the help and the kindness, Emma and John (the two hotel employees who checked me in) realised that it was my birthday at the moment of the check in and they made a little surprise party in the evening (you can check the pictures). I can only recommend this place if you want to stay in Hue if you wish to visit this part of Vietnam.

The location was perfect. 👍😊 The rooms were clean and big. ✨🛏️ The staff member at the front desk her name is "Emma" was very helpful and kind. 🙏💖 and the other man in the front he really have a service mind I dont know his name but he also helping alot. This hotel are so lucky to get this kind of staff.
