Excellent value in this prime location in Hue, within walking distance of the riverside promenade, and short Grab taxi rides away from the Imperial Citadel, the Redemptorist Chirch, and the Duc Duc mausoleum.   The extensive breakfast buffet is served on the 12th floor, with great views over the rooftops to the mountains on the horizon, and the 5th floor pool is lovely for relaxing in after seeing the historic sights. The hotel sits in streets that are bustling with tourist bars and clubs, but from our fourth floor room we weren't troubled too much by the noise. Lots of great restaurants are on the doorstep,  including Madame Thuy 2, Shiva, Hot Tuna and - for lunch - delicious breads/sandwiches at La Boulangerie Francais. We booked guided tours with Handspan to the Imperial Citadel, and on the next day to the Minh Mang Mausoleum and Thien Mu pagoda which included a short cruise on the Perfume River.

Moonlight Hotel offers really spacious and comfortable rooms that will allow you to feel even a bit of luxury for a very affordable price. Staff is very helpful in arranging transportation further down the road in Vietnam. During my stay there was a marathon in Hue, so it was harder to get checked in earlier, however there are no problems to leave your luggage and passport at the reception, as well as get a shower. Swimming pool is nice, with view of the city. Gym, although spacious, lacks a bit in equipment, but if you know what you are doing, you can still get a nice pump!

Excellent value for the price. Room was big and comfortable. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. I gave it top marks for location but that's very subjective - top marks based on how central it is. For me there was too much noise from nearby bars - but for some people that location would be ideal. The windows are pretty good at keeping out most of the noise except for a few hours in the evening. I'd book here again if I could move it a few blocks back but if you want to be in the thick of the eating/drinking action, it's perfectly located.

I was disappointed to find the restaurant empty and apparently not open two separate evenings when I went up well within stated opening hours. Of course, there are loads of places to eat nearby but I was hoping for somewhere quieter and feeling a bit lazy.

The location is excellent, the area is full of action, restaurants and shopping, very touristy. We used the pool and it was really refreshing after being in the heat of the city. We also used the rooftop bar for sunset drinks and it was beautiful.

The hotel has pretty dated decor and has some big tour groups staying there.

The hotel itself is nice. It is in a great location, with like, a walking street right out the front with plenty of bars and restaurants all around the area. The room was good and clean, with a nice bathroom.

The pool is rather small, undercover and no real places to Strech out and fully relax. (I know, first world problem) I travel a lot to Vietnam, and probably wouldn't stay here again.

The location of the hotel is really nice, lot of things accessible around. The room is great, comfortable, as well as the bathroom. A lot of option for breakfast, weither it's salty or sweet, they also serve some local food like bun bo hue which was good. Overall a great hotel, we enjoyed our stay here.

The reception staff were lovely and gave excellent advice and recommendations including a wonder city tour for 990,000 Vdg that was both excellent and excellent value (also we found other paid more elsewhere!) The hotel was also in a great location in the centre of the old town. The spa seemed closed but we booked and we received the most incredible Vietnamese massages ( highly recommended!) The breakfast was also good.

The hotel didn’t seem fully up and running yet but we know that will change but it made it feel a bit worn and dark in parts as a result, but we had great sleeps and a nice room and so this should not put anyone off as it was good value.

I want to personally Thank Ms. Nam, Thao at Reception Check-in! She has Outstanding Customer Service skills! She welcomed me in a Professional manner, and helped me with all my requests! I am a returning customer and your hotel is the best in Hue! Again, please Thank Ms. Nam, Thao and your entire staff for a job well done! Lastly, your Breakfast Buffet is the best I've had in Vietnam!!!!!!

Conveniently located in the walking street section of Hue, this hotel is a great choice. Well appointed room with large clean bathroom. Security underground parking for your motorcycle is a big bonus for me. Best of all though is the staff. They are always smiling and seem genuinely happy to be at their workplace.

Right in the center of Pham Ngu Lao, Hue which is full of lively vibe at night. The room is clean and tidy, with direct balcony city view. Staff are friendly and I kinda like their Hue accent, really sweet and calm.

As this is located on Pham Ngu Lao street so in the evening till midnight, you can't ride on your vehicles to the hotel
