Me and my wife stayed 2 nights in Stop & Go Boutique Homestay in Hue. We enjoyed both the Stop & Go and Hue, wish we would have stayed longer but had to go to Da Nang. People in Stop & Go are very friendly and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - food in Hue was very good in every restaurant we visited near our homestay, that's one good reason to stay there a little longer. In Stop & Go they arranged us a ride from Hue to Da Nang by Hai Van Pass - you definitely should choose that road to Da Nang instead of the tunnels that buses use. What an unforgettable day.

The hotel has a very good location, close to the streets with bars and restaurants, but away from the noise. It's also close to where the buses to/from Hue stop, so the location was very convenient when we arrived from Hoi An and when we left to Da Nang. It is also easy to walk to the Imperial Citadel, it only takes about 20 minutes. The room was small but comfortable, as was the bathroom. It's important to remember to turn on the water heater (there's a small switch in the room) because otherwise there won't be any hot water in the morning. The staff was very nice. Our reservation included breakfast, and on the last day, because my boyfriend was sick, they were kind enough to let us eat it in the room. They also gave me good recommendations for restaurants and cafes, as well as a city map, and they helped us rent a motorcycle, as it's the easiest way to go see some of the imperial tombs. They were also kind enough to let us leave our luggage at the reception after check out for a few hours.

Very friendly welcome. On arrival they provided us with water and explained in good English the most important sights and how to get there as well as gave us some recommendations for restaurants and tours. We had booked two standard rooms of which one got upgraded (bed was really big and comfortable). Most of the staff was fluent in English and everybody was helpful with any request we had during our stay. The lower floors of the hotel were inhabited by the family of the owner which gave the place a familiar atmosphere.

There was no lift available and the stairs were narrow and slippery which was okay for normal use but not while carrying luggage (although the staff was assisting when they saw us struggling with the luggage). The bathroom wasn't that clean and even after pointing this out to the staff they arranged an additional cleaning but it was not done thoroughly. The regular room is quite tiny compared to the upgraded room.

I really enjoyed the warm, relaxed, charm I was greated with by the very professional front of house staff. The location, down a relatively quiet lane, had a lot going for it. While the spacious front room I had was clean and comfortable. To brighten things up I bought a few bunches of flowers to scatter around the homestay. Try it next time you're at a small friendly place. Nine out of ten times the staff love it.

The stairs were a bit suss. Definately not the right place for people with mobility issues.

Very comfy bed, felt like my bed at home. Modern rooms, good location and staff really friendly. We booked our transfer to Da Nang through them and it was cheap and well organised. We would definitely recommend and would stay again if we ever come back to Hue

Nothing everything was great

Lovely property in a great location. Everything is as shown in the listing, if not better. The beds are very comfortable, there’s hot water in the shower and help is there 24x7 if you ever need it. Thien is very helpful and helped booked convenient ways to see the sights, travel to Hoi An and was always there with helpful suggestions. We were also lucky to meet his lovely family and his 3 absolutely adorable children!

Nothing at all that we disliked. Everything was great.

I appreciated the warm welcome and the care of the staff. They gave me good recommandations for tailor-made clothing and were so nice and open. Rooms were clean, hot water running, excellent location and also calm. Best accommodation in Vietnam so far!

The receptionist was helpful and sweet. The room was clean. The TV worked. We felt safe there. Breakfast was made fresh to order every morning.

Friendly stuff quite small street, so no car drive during the road, beside a taxi who pick up a guest. So very quite during the day and night Nice small breakfasts offer Very clean inside, because everyone needs to change the shoes to go inside, shoes are prepared by the hotel.

We only needed a place to rest our heads for a few hours so we actually didn’t stay the night, however we did take a nap. We did not use the shower or any facilities however the staff were super friendly and helpful!
