The hotel was located across from the Obelisco and right around the corner from Avenida Corrientes (Theatre District) so it couldn't have been more perfect in terms of its proximity that made for an epicurean experience. Housekeeping and Laundry services were outstanding. All staff was super friendly and accommodating, especially the food and beverage personnel. Spanish is not a functional language for me or my travel buddy so it was good that there seemed to always be someone on staff who communicated in English. Those who don't speak English made every effort at communication. The hotel also felt very secured especially since it is smack dab in the middle of where a lot of the action takes place. Overall, a great experience!

The air conditioner did not work well and hotel did not have portable electric fans that could be placed within the room as an ad hoc solution. It made for uncomfortable sleeping conditions in the evening. Also, the closet was tiny so we had to be strategic in its use.

Probably the best location to stay in Buenos Aires, a hotel in the very center.

The hotel was definitely number 1 once, but today it would definitely need renovation. The door card locks do not work well and what is worse, the lights and electrical sockets in the room do not work well either. I was very afraid of a fault in the wiring. What if an electrical short causes a fire? The building has 11 floors, I lived on the 11th floor, I was really scared.

Safe hotel for solo women travellers, in the middle of Buenos Aires downtown, close to Florida shopping precinct. Friendly and fast check in. I had a million dollar view from my 10th floor balcony over The Obelisco and 9July widest avenue. Loved it. Clean, value for money. Late check-in till 6pm cost me additional 30000 peso. EZE APT is only 30min away, 17000 peso by taxi. Area is not very safe around hotel at night, but day time is ok, with common sense. 5500 peso breakfast, very sufficient and good veriety👍

Location, Location, Location. I booked a room the night after Argentina won the World Cup, and it was excellent!

This property is old, however the location is phenomenal, steps away from El Obelisco. It should be noted that I really had trouble with my electrical sockets. They are archaic and wouldn’t charge my phone unless I held it in place in the wall, even downstairs in the lobby wall. I was paying 5x the normal rate for a balcony, which I didn’t mind because the country had just won the World Cup and I understand their prime location. However I didn’t like that check out was 11am (my other 3 hotels were noon), and that when I asked to check out at 1pm they wanted to charge $65, so ended on a bit of a disappointed note. However the stay was great.

Loved the location. You can walk to the most popular landmarks. Many restaurants too. The big obelisk is right in front. The view at night is amazing

The location was perfect, everything you need is a minute or two walk away. The view of the obelisk and it always being busy was well worth the room. The balcony was big enough to enjoy too!

Air conditioning or a fan would have been nice because it was very humid. Not a complaint because the room was still perfect and i stayed here twice.

Breakfast was fabulous everyday. Best view in Bs As!!! Centrally located...ease of access to everywhere. I love the bustle of Avenida 9 de Julio. I would stay here every time. Great value. The staff accommodated us with watching our luggage when we arrived before check-in and when we had to stay longer.

Ease of check-in. Long wait for elevators occasionally. (this did not really bother us, but others may have difficulty with it).

I had a lil surprise in my room when I open the curtains, lots of mice poop. That was my 3rd day there, so it really disgusted me. I took a picture and showed it to the receptionist. They quickly moved me to another room which was absolutely beautiful. Clean, species with fantastic view. I understand things happen and appreciate their quick response and apology.

Location was amazing. Breakfast was unique and enjoyable. Staff was great as well.

Bed was hard...very hard. The AC didn't have an individual control, so the room never got real cold. The homeless guy living outside was a little odd...but he seamed nice once you got use to him.

All the employees in general were very kind and respectful, the facilities were always clean and security was very effective.

The rooms were very small
