We stayed at Tru by Hilton while visiting Hershey Park, and it was the perfect choice for our family trip! From the very beginning, the staff made our visit smooth and enjoyable. When I called to confirm our reservations, Steve went above and beyond to ensure that our family rooms were located on the same floor, which made things so much easier for us. At check-in, David at the front desk was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He not only made us feel at home, but also gave excellent suggestions on where to eat locally and even recommended great options for Uber Eats delivery. His friendliness and knowledge of the area really made a difference in our stay. The hotel was very kid-friendly, which was perfect for our Hershey adventure. The kids loved the two foosball tables and the clean, well-maintained pool. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and modern—everything we needed to relax after a full day at the park. The breakfast was fresh and satisfying, and we especially loved having coffee available all day, which was a great perk for parents! Overall, the staff’s attentiveness, the cleanliness of the hotel, and the family-friendly atmosphere made this stay outstanding. We would definitely return and highly recommend this Tru by Hilton to other Hershey Park visitors!

It was spotless, right down to the trim along the floor on the hallways! Staff was friendly, kind, and attentive. Breakfast was excellent: pancake making machine w/ toppings, scrambled eggs, sausage links, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt machine, cereal choices, bagels and bread for toast, and more. Foosball tables in the lobby and plenty of seating to relax and enjoy. Pool area and fitness center were clean. Pet friendly hotel which was essential for us - we never bring our pet but we needed to this time for a one-night stay. We paid the $50 fee and hotel staff was friendly and compassionate to us and her. Would DEFINITELY stay here again AND recommend to others.

For one night, we paid $500+, but we also booked the week of our visit during peak season, for a Friday night stay. We hope that is why! Normally we would not splurge so much but we HAD to make this trip due to an order we placed in the Hershey area that was available for pick-up only - and so we loaded the dog in the car and drove 3+ hours for a one-night stay and tried to make a date night out of it with no kids. For us, it was very pricey. Also, the fire alarm went off on the morning because someone burned something at breakfast.. however, the girl at the front desk immediately acknowledged us when we came downstairs and apologized to us for the false alarm. Very attentive and kind. Other than the price and the fire alarm though? Everything was excellent!

We were in town for our sons hockey tournament. Front desk clerk was very informative on places to eat, who delivered to hotel. Did his best to make sure our room was close to our son & his family. I do not remember front desk clerk’s name however, he went above to make our stay very pleasant. The woman in cafeteria was amazing also! She went out of her way to educate our grandson on how the pancake machine worked . He is a very curious child and she took the time to educate and make him happy! Breakfast area well stocked and very clean. She was working alone from what I saw . First time in a long time had such friendly staff that actually cared about their customers & took pride in their jobs! Hard to find good employees today! If I were your company I would provide them with a raise or at least a nice bonus to show your appreciation to make your customers feel welcomed and cared about!!! We are from NJ and visit Hershey PA a lot! Hotel Little more expensive than others in area however, to have peace of mind that it’s clean and a staff that makes you feel welcome is worth the extra money!! Only issue we had was there was only one elevator working. Had to wait a bit for it to get to our floor. Things happen and it was the weekend so no points taken off for that.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Cute lobby where people could hang out. Checking in/out, we were met with friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good, as well as the 24 hr complimentary coffee/tea station. The rooms were very clean! And about 3 mins to the park. We’ve tried a bunch of hotels in the area when we don’t feel like spending the $ at Hershey properties and I think we found our go to. This one has been the best so far

It was a little odd that it seemed to be in the middle of a residential development but I wouldn’t necessarily say it was a bad thing.

The staff was exceptional. Quality comes to mind when talking about just the care for and non bias approach to servicing our needs. Would highly recommend to any1 asking about Hilton or hotel stays. The breakfast was extremely limited as I enjoy a full serving plate. However, I could not eat the "pork" served. I've been to Home2Suites by hilton, and they have an accommodating breakfast with turkey sausage in their sandwiches. I was disappointed in Tru not having that "piste de résistance"?

The hotel was located in a central location, close to everything. It was clean, we weren't inundated with cigarette smoke at the entrance like so many other hotels, the staff was great and the room was great. It was spacious and the bathroom was big and easy to use. The shower worked great, the drain was not clogged, and it was ADA compliant with grab bars and a curbless entry. You will appreciate these things, handicapped or not. The soap, shampoo and conditioner in those wall mounted tubes are so convenient! Literally nothing to not love about this hotel.

Not the fault of the hotel or staff but there was some sort of cheerleading convention going on and thete were dozens of teenage girls running wild throughout the place and they were very noisy. Don't misunderstand me, I have a house full of kids myself and these young ladies were just doing what young ladies do when gathered together in large groups. Again, no blame, no real "complaints", per se, but you asked if there was anything I didn't like. 🤷

It's a great location if you're going to Hershey. The Staff overall was great to interact with. Free breakfast is always a good thing I think the one girl who runs the breakfast gets overwhelmed at times but i noticed multiple front desk team members helping her at times. Pool and fitness Room were also a plus.

I love that it was close to the Amtrak station, about a 15 min ride or so. The room was clean, the rooms were also very nice. Breakfast was really good, just wish there was an alternative breakfast meat besides pork. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

The only downside I can say is that because this location is close to Hershey park there were a lot of families there that had some pretty excited children with lots of energy and sometimes they could be heard inside our room. The kids had the lobby a bit chaotic as they were playing games that were provided by the hotel, but could be very messy and loud at times. Prices of snacks/drinks were a little absurd, but I guess that’s to be expected near Hershey. That is it.

It's in a great location- near many attractions. We liked the complimentary tea/coffee that was replenished through out the day, which you could grab at your leisure. We like the snacks and adult beverages you could purchase as well. The room was clean, and the bathroom was stocked with fresh towels and additional amenities. One last thing- we were able to plug in our phone charging cords right into the outlet.

It was clean and organized. Everything you needed was there. The location to local attractions was perfect. It’s in a neighborhood so it felt safe. The communications via email were very helpful and informative. The staff were friendly without being fake and it was appreciated.

There wasn’t extra pillows, blankets. I know I could’ve called the front desk but it was 1 am and I just wanted to grab some out of a closet. They charged $6 for a bottle of water. There was a fill up station for refillable water bottles.
