The location of the hotel is near to the Shinsaibashi Metro Station which makes it convenient to train via subways. Dotonbori is within walking distance (about 15 mins). Parco (you can check out the Gibli exhibit on the 6th floor) and Daimaru are nearby. Amerika-kura also nearby (5 mins) where you can shop till you drop. Plenty of eateries offering different types of cuisine. Spoilt for choice. It is a simple hotel - if you are not picky. You can take amenities from the hotel lobby as well as coffee and tea. I would like to thank M.Sumino (one of the staff at the reception) for being so helpful to order a taxi for me and for providing information on how to travel via subways to the places I wanted to visit. The rigid process of check in. My sister was not well and I requested if we could check in early (at least 1 room for my sister to rest). We were there around past 1 pm. The reception refused. We have to wait until 3 pm to check in. We were informed that 1 room is ready (we booked 2 rooms) and if we want to check in early - we have to pay JPY3000. I don't see the logic in such rigidness. Perhaps the hotel can look into this and be more flexible when it comes to check in early.

In an excellent area with a very vibrant nightlife, but there is no noise after 10pm or so. A couple of metro lines nearby and lots of shops and restaurants. Room was clean and came with a fridge.

Our mistake, but it's not clear that there is another hotel owned by the same company with a very similar name in the same area, so we arrived at the wrong one, but the correct one is only a 10 minute walk away, so be careful when arriving. You have to leave your key at the front desk whenever leaving which is slightly annoying but not too big of a problem. Room was on the smaller side but still manageable and not the smallest we've had in Japan.

Superb location, 3 mins walk to Shinsaibashi station. 15mins walking to Dotonburi, surrounded by convenient stores and restaurants. Sufficient amenities provided by hotel, they also lending out unbrella in case of rain. Staff is friendly and speak english. We have 2 person staying at double room, room is not spacious but enough space to open 2 L size luggages (80cm). Bed is slightly smaller than queen size. Overall, its not luxurious but its definitely comfortable and good value for money.

The sound proofing is bad, can heard foot steps and talking voice from room beside.

This is our second time staying here, and it’s always a great experience. The hotel is very near Dotonbori—perfect for enjoying street food, shopping, and exploring Namba. Also conveniently close to the train station and plenty of restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for comfort, location, and service.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are 3 or 4 hotel near by with the same “Hearton Hotel Shinsaibashi” name following by their location and we didn’t know. We travelled with friends and ended up booking a wrong location. The staff helped to transfer my room to same location as my friends’ with no extra charge.

As I said, when I type “Hearton Hotel Shinsaibashi” on booking.com, they didn’t show me different locations. I just found out there are 3 or 4 hotels with same name same company when I was there.

The location is fantastic. A few minutes from Shinsaibashi station exit 7, and all of Namba just a stones throw away. The room was comfortable.

The breakfast was fine, but it would have been nice with a few more options of bread, things to put on the bread, some more options for yoghurt and things to put in the yoghurt. Our room also only had a window with frosted glass. Maybe there wouldn't have been much of a view anyway, but I couldn't even tell what the weather was.

Great location! It's located near the Dotonbori area, as well as train station. The area is quiet and safe. What we love is the room size, it is surprisingly spacious yet affordable and they clean the room everyday. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Overall we had a great time staying here and we'll definitely will stay here again!

They are still using an old school room key that you have to leave to the reception every time you go out, although it does not bother me at all since there's a tendency that you might lost your key or it's a bit bulky to bring with you.
