It was easy to book the spa and we made the most of it on a few of the days that we went there. The room was lovely and the staff was super friendly. We didn’t have breakfast or dinner at the hotel because we wanted to go around and try some of the cool little cafés, and plenty of restaurants that are just 15 minutes away right at the beach.

Location can be hit and miss depending on what you’re looking for. I was there for work it was a great location because I could go to where I needed to very quickly and had a good connections with other parts of the city. If you’re just looking to sightsee you might have to walk a lot more

Off season , so relatively quiet , not too many people at breakfast/spa. Hotel is undergoing renovation on the 3rd and 4th floors, 1st and 2nd have more “dated” rooms.

Can hear music at night as there is a big disco club place adjacent to the hotel . Need to use ear plugs at night

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel for many reasons. We booked the option without breakfast and with entrance to the spa, because we wanted to eat at a different place every day (and didn't regret it btw). We were out all day with our bikes and came back in the evening to enjoy the spa, which was simply perfect. Make sure you book your stay at the spa in advance, otherwise you won't get in. (1,5h are included in the price - in case you want to stay longer, you have to pay for it, but 1,5h are honestly enough, if you've been out all day.) There's a pool outside as well, but it was a bit too cold outside in order for us to swim there. Hopefully next time.☺️ There's also a garage for your car (for an additional 20€/day) and there are also bike stands, if you bring yours like we did. As for the room: we had a suite with two rooms and a bathroom - and everything was soooo clean!!! The suite got cleaned and fresh towels were brought to us on a daily basis. The staff was generally very nice and helpful.🙏🏻 As for the area: it's not too central, but still in the city, so that you can get everywhere really quickly. There are two subway stations (L1 & L4) close by and maaaany cute cafés (-check out my other reviews, if you're interested). The beach is also not far away at all. We cannot wait to go back. 🙌🏽

The rooms were fabulous — recently refurbished, spotlessly clean, and incredibly spacious. I especially loved the sliding door, which cleverly transforms part of the room into a private dressing/ bathroom area. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and the spa facilities were excellent. Breakfast was a highlight: delicious, plentiful, and made even more special by the cava available every morning! The location was also great — just a few stops from the city centre, which made it super easy to get around, but far enough to escape the hustle and bustle for some proper relaxation.

If I had to pick out a couple of small downsides, I would’ve appreciated a few more toiletries in the room — especially since it’s a spa hotel. It would’ve just added that extra touch of luxury. Also, while the spa facilities were lovely, it would’ve been nice to have designated adult-only times, as it sometimes felt more like a lively pool than a space for relaxation when lots of kids were around.

What did I like? Nearly everything about the hotel itself. Spacious room, delicious breakfast buffet with international selections and local flair... like Cava! 90 minutes a day in the spa!... read that again... 90 minutes PER DAY in the spa! did I mention the Spa? The Yellow line stop is about one block away, the red line is a bit more, maybe 10 minutes give or take, but walkable. so easy enough to get where you are going.

I read some complaints about the location. This is the only valid criticism of the hotel, but it is not really terrible. I believe the neighborhood is transitioning. hotels and restaurants have moved in as anchors, but some of the surrounding buildings are still just neighborhood grocers and some are empty. I challenge you to find another hotel in a swankier area with a Spa option. So, that offset the immediate area I had to walk through to get to the metro for me, and then... BANG! I am in the Gothic Quarter!

I was staying in this hotel over the weekend, and everything was great. Spa visits were included in the cost of my stay, and I was lucky to enjoy it twice - on Friday night to recharge after a quite intense working week and on Saturday morning because it was unexpectedly pouring in Barcelona. If there wasn't a spa, I would probably be looking sadly out of the window, but instead I was swimming in the inside warm pool and sitting in a hammam, which I consider a great trade. I loved the breakfast. I'm not sure if the variety is great as I was there for 2 breakfasts, but I can say that within these 2 mornings I didn't get tired, there are many things to choose from (hot and cold), many things to try, good coffee and Cava sparkling wine to complement the breakfast. Everything was tasty and I left full. The room is standard for a 4* hotel. The personnel is pleasant and helpful. The location is also goo, 20 minutes on foot from Sagrada, 20 minutes on foot to the sea, the centre within a walkable distance (which was great for me because I like walking and I wanted to spend the weekend just roaming around) I can say I liked everything about my stay.

We loved swimming pool and spa area. We did massage and it was great. Very relaxing and happy with back massage. Location was good and close to city centre. Restaurants and grocery shops in walking distance. Metro less than 10 minutes walk. Close by to seaside.

We got the room for 4 people and it was one double bed and a sofa which splits in 2 single sleeping spaces, but it was really more suitable for kids as mattresses were hard and a bit narrow…not comfortable for an adults. We mentioned it at the reception next morning and they gave us an extra mattresses on the top which made my sleep much better. Thanks for that. When using spa we got no dressing gown as was none left.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Spa had fantastic facilities. Really good breakfast with plenty of choice. Room was huge with all the expected facilities. Location was decent, walkable to metro and also slightly longer but still walkable to many top attractions.

Didn't like that they allowed kids in the spa, it's not a play area. They should at least do a dedicated couple of hours where kids are allowed and the rest of the time adult only. There wasn't a great amount of choice at dinner, especially for children. If you are staying for a few nights you will quickly exhaust the menu. While it was a nice hotel with good facilities including the free spa session every day that you are there, I didn't feel it was worth what they charged. Over £800 for 5 nights seemed an awful lot.

The breakfast buffet was always a good selection. The bar and pool were pleasant. The room was clean and spacious with a large bathroom including separate bath and shower. The location for exploring Barcelona was good including local restaurants, the metro approx 5 min walk away and the beachfront about 15mins walks.

Our room was at the front of the hotel and on floor one so unfortunately we were regularly disturbed by noise on the street including people out late, and large communal bins being emptied by a bin lorry at regular times of the night and early morning.

We are a family of 4. Two kids age 11 and 15 and opted not to have breakfast and get it locally as we do not eat pork/cheese. LOCATION is very good and in a old industrial/residential area with alot of converted warehouses now offices and residential. It is a 20 min walk to sagrada familia/beach or a 8 euro taxi ride. Taxis are always available outside or just use the uber app. For us the location was fantastic as it was away from the hustle and everything is local and walking distance Supermarket 1 min/barbers 10 mins and lots of restaurants nearby and a nice strip Rambla del Poblenou which is 10 mins and over 20 places to eat. Reminds me of Paris. BEACH - 20 mins walk or 6-7 euros in a taxi ROOM - Rooms are well sized for a family of 4. pull down out sofa bed and a desk inside the room with a shower in the bathroom. They are clean, have a good space and decent storage. STAFF - Very accommodating and always trying to help. SPA - Very good and pleased with the options available. You need to book but despite the hotel being full we never faced issues. Sauna/Steam/Cold room/Cold Bath/Jacuzzi and an indoor/outdoor pool.

The key cards are a nightmare! When you put them next to your phone they deactivate and you need to go to the lobby to make them work again.
