We chose the hotel mainly because of it being close to the train station, and the good breakfast reviews, and it certainly lived up to those! To boost the staff we interacted with, at the reception as well as at the breakfast buffet, were very nice and helpful. Bonus points for vegan friendly options at the breakfast buffet, and for it not throwing us out at 10h sharp – not to mention the nice water station at the reception desk <3 <3 <3

For my uncle with Parkinson's, it would definitely have been easier to access the shower if it had not been in the bathtub, though that might have been my mistake not to check or mention when I made the booking. And since you're asking, there was some shampoo squirt or something in the bathroom ceiling, from a previous guest, that I got a bit sick of looking at, but now we're obviously talking about nice problems to have :P

The location - price - comfort ratio is amazing. Convenient 4* hotel. The furnishing is modern but not brand new, however very clean and comfortable. The hotel is just behind one of the famous theatres in Budapest, walkimg distance to the Danube promenade, Parliament, Margit-sziget, amazingly connected by public transport. 2 different metro lines are one tram-stop away (or 10’ walk), but considering the super public transport links in Budapest, this is no distance. Plenty of restaurants, cafes are around the corner. It was a very convenient stay. I did not use the airco (which works well) during the night but if someone would like to, it’s just for info that it does make a little noise (it did not bother me though). I would like to thank especially Eszter at reception who was super kind and did all she could to make my stay comfortable by fixing an error (on my end) of the booking process. And I also want to thank the young gentleman who helped me so kindly when I locked myself out of the room. Thank you so much to both, these have made my stay memorable!

Great Stay, but Disappointed by Breakfast Service Overall, my stay at the hotel was very pleasant. However, I was quite disappointed with the attitude of one of the waiters during breakfast. When I asked a couple of simple questions, he reacted with visible frustration and seemed very impatient and uninterested. His behavior felt dry and unwelcoming, which left a negative impression at the start of the day. Good service is just as important as the food itself, and I hope the hotel can address this to ensure a better experience for future guests. A bit more courtesy and professionalism would go a long way.

Great location, friendly staff.

Too many homeless around the building. But after visiting the city, looks like they are everywhere. But didnt feel safe going out at night. Especially if you are female. Every thing is designed to rip of tourists pocket, and people are generally rude. Definitly won't be visiting again, especially with family and kids. Feels like a third world country. People still living in Soviet era mentality and environment.

Staff was really really nice, always with smile and willing to help. Hotel is located closed to a Spar and location is amazing, we did everything by foot. One thing I was impressed is with hair dryer in the room, really strong and professional. Our bed was very comfy and room was really big and clean. We travelled with our 1 year old son and as soon as we made the check in a staff member went to our room to put on the crib for us. I am really happy with the hotel, would definitely recommend to others. Hotel breakfast was amazing as well. A lot of dessert options and everything was delicious.

Only thing I was not happy about it is that we travelled with a car and had to park in the hotel and that costed 25 euros per night.

The staff of the hotel very friendly, they helped me with a special request that was made on time. The room was clean and comfy. Location very good, near pubs, restaurants, markets, a walk away from many points of interest in Budapest. A bonus was the coffee that we were able to make in our room in the morning.

The only thing i did not like was that when i booked the room (standard twin room - with the option double bed) i saw in the picture that it was a balcony with a street view. And it wasn’t. I was a little dissapointed but overall we like it here.

My stay got off to an excellent start with a wonderful, friendly and professional welcome from Eszter. And the same was true when I left and was checked-out by Panna. In fact, throughout my stay, all the staff were superb. I had put in a special request and was over-the-moon when Eszter sorted it out for me. This really made for a very productive trip for me, so a huge thank you for your help with that.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of everything, short walk everywhere. Clean rooms, lovely atmosphere, really helpfull, nice and professional staff. I was pleasantly surprised about the hotel.

Only thing I found weird is that when fire alarm went off, there wasn't any instructions on loudspeaker or notification if it's a real deal or anything. We had to find out by ourselves that it was a false alarm and there was nothing wrong.

I have no complaints about he value for money or cleanliness of the hotel. It's a decent place to stay, a little bit tired, and has more of a business rather than tourism feel. I've been at other NH hotels, and this one might be coming up for a modernisation. Breakfast had a selection of local items. Budapest is a safe city, and this is an alright area. 5 minutes from the metro, 2 minutes from the tram. Free tea coffee and mineral water is useful.

I don't understand why I got emails inviting me to check in before, when check in took 30 seconds, and needs you to go to the desk anyway? I was travelling and didn't know if this was something important.

The hotel is in a very good central location. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out was quick and smooth. The room was very nice and clean and cozy. The breakfast was delicious and a great choice for everyone.

A bit noisy due to the neighborhood, as there was a party in the next building that went on quite late. Upgrading to better noise-canceling windows could help improve sound insulation.
