We were in Cambridge to visit family and we used this as a base for the visit. The rooms were great, clean and with walking showers, which we needed for my wife's 87 year old father. The restaurant was able to adjust meals to meet his dietary needs, and they were very kind to him around the hotel. We also used the laundry services, which were always delivered on-time. A lovely breakfast was provided - a huge choice. The gym was good, and I used it a number of times. The car parking is a valet service, which although expensive, was, for us, worth the cost. The car was ready shortly after we requested it. The off street driveway made pick ups and drop offs easy. The hotel is also central and walking distance to everything.

For us, the hotel meet all our needs.

We have really enjoyed all the facilities that the hotel had to offer the room was clean and the breakfast was really good. Their only downside was that the head of our stay we called to inquire regarding the cost of the parking. We were told that parking is £15 per 24 hours however when we wanted to pay, we were told that it was 30 despite us trying to reason with a staff member at the time after about half an hour conversation we were forced to pay £30 per parking for the 24 hours we used it. Clearly either the member of staff who we spoke to ahead. Mistake. Or the receptionist at the checkout, however, no one wanted to take any responsibility.

The the cost of the parking

Lovely, comfortable, clean hotel in a tremendous location in the centre of Cambridge, with everything worth seeing pretty much on one's doorstep. Comfortable room, pet friendly, valet parking provided (at cost), friendly staff, decent gym, possibility to get adjoining connected rooms and great value for money - all in all a location worthy of the Hilton brand that I will definitely be returning to on my next stays.

A pool would have been a great addition, that is really the only thing we missed (though Cambridge sight seeing definitely kept us busy, which more than made up for it).

The staff were all lovely. Stand outs were Mario in the restaurant, as well as an older Japanese lady whose name I did not get. Also Kamokyo??? the Japanese lady who sat everyone at breakfast - so friendly and kind. It was the staff who made the stay outstanding. We really enjoyed having lunch at the hotel each day - it was so peaceful and the food was great. It was always nice to escape the crowds and come back to somewhere peaceful and welcoming.

I was excited to see Crabtree and Evelyn products in the bathrooms but our conditioner was empty. I did ask housekeeping to replenish it but in the 4 days we were there it didnt happen. Also we only had a tiny bit of toilet paper on arrival. I asked for more and was given 2 rolls - but when we went out we returned to find they had been taken away, lol! The room was also very dark - better lighting would be nice for reading and working thank you.

The hotel impresses from the moment you reach it. The lift, escalator or stairs take you from the road level up to reception which was handled very efficiently. Our room was wonderful, we'd booked a suite as we like to have space to relax, and it was immaculately kept. The settee and armchairs were extremely comfortable as was the bed. Breakfast had everything you could want from cereals and pastries through to a full cooked breakfast. The staff were very friendly and always happy to help answer any question we might have.

Apart from wishing we had an even longer stay, nothing

Perfect central Cambridge location, easily accessible (from London) by train and bus. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and no problems for short-term storage of luggage both before check-in and after check-out. Excellent buffet breakfast with a good selection of food and drinks on offer. Central atrium giving great atmosphere to the communal areas.

Our top 4th floor room was a little cramped and with restricted views but clean and with all facilities including a big screen tv. Room cost would have been more acceptable if breakfast (£20 extra per person per day) had been included

Staff were very helpful and extremely friendly.

We ordered a bottle of prosecco from the bar and were given a bottle which when opened was warm, The bartender did not tell us this before we ordered one, instead put it in an ice bucket. We did complain and he one, instead put it in an ice bucket. We did complain and he said he would put in fridge. Later another very helpful member of staff did swap it for a cold one. The bottle was 48 pounds and i think it might have been nice to have been offered some money off or given to us complimentary.

The breakfast offers good quality with a satisfying variety, though the menu remains consistent daily. As an early riser, I appreciated the fully stocked selection and absence of crowds during my visits. A notable highlight was the 24-hour gym facility, which was well-maintained and provided excellent convenience for guests with varying schedules. Overall, the dining and fitness amenities met my needs effectively, with the consistent breakfast being the only area that could benefit from occasional variety.

Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. All fresh. All the staff were so friendly. The concierge took our car and parked it for us, which was very convenient. The room was nice and the bed really comfortable. There was no noise, it was really peaceful in the room. The location was fantastic

The bar was expensive, as expected. £20 for a pint of beer and a gin and tonic. The room was smaller than I expected and had no view. It was expensive but we really enjoyed it so we didn't mind.

I would have given this hotel full marks if it had not been for an unfortunate incident ..I ordered a 0 alcohol beer at the bar and noticed I felt very strange whilst drinking it . It then became very clear that the beer did infact contain alcohol and I had been served a gluten free beer rather than the zero beer I had ordered ..fortunately it is a preference for me to not drink alcohol as had this been an allergy or religious reason the consequences would have been serious ..I reported the incident and was not charged for the beer however i think that you need to be very aware so that staff can avoid a mistake like this in the future. I did not feel well after and it was only through some positive thinking and discussion with my partner which prevented it from ruining my evening.
