The reception staff the lady who checked us in was very friendly and speedy and even let us check in 25 mins early .Told us an internet WiFi password without even asking no issues with check in.

No food available as all ran out which is a first at any hotel I've ever stayed in so sadly had to get a McDonald's after the lady gaga concert which was disappointing but as we stayed one night wasn't a problem. The drinks at the bar was card only and expensive for a holiday inn but as it's London I guess that's to be expected these days. My mum prefers cash and was surprised a holiday inn didn't take cash for the first time we have known but we have never been to this one in this area. Disappointed you made the decision to take cash away.

The breakfasts were really good. As someone who loves cheese, I missed having more cheese :) Other than that, it was very good in terms of value for money and met our needs. The staff was very friendly. In terms of location, it takes about 20–25 minutes to get to the city center, and you can reach it in one ride using the Jubilee Line.

The rooms were naturally small; for a family of four, they are only suitable for sleeping. You can only spend time lying down in the room. Since it’s on the main street, it can be a bit noisy if you open the window while sleeping.

We had an event at the o2 so the location was great for us. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.

We booked a twin room, the lady at check in told us we had two double beds in the room. When we got to the room, there was only 1 king size bed. We had to ask housekeeping to separate the bed into two singles. The receptionist also told us breakfast was served until 10.30. We went down at 9.55 and the coffee and juice machines were turned off, the teas were all packed away and there was very little food available. We noticed that the sign said breakfast was served until 10 so we were a bit disappointed.

The two ladies on reception when we came in were exceptional. I've stayed in a lot of Holiday Inn Expresses over the years (and a lot of hotels generally - for work and leisure) and these ladies couldn't have been more welcoming and professional. And very much genuinely. Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived and we were offered a complimentary drink while we waited. This was above and beyond what I've experienced in a Holiday Inn Express and their service did not go unnoticed hence I'm writing this review. The room was comfy, well appointed and all the usual things you'd expect in a Holiday inn express (better than a Premier inn in my opinion due to getting an iron & board as standard rather than having to ask for it and getting breakfast) and the location to the tube and the cable car are super convenient. The breakfast was pretty standard but good to be included in the price. The bar was open late if people wanted this after returning from the O2 or wherever they'd been and that all felt very open and welcoming and safe. Definitely recommend

The staff specially the lady in the evening didn’t catch her name she checked us in in room no 101 her service was exceptional and of course the whole team and the Managment who made my son’s 18th birthday special by not only decorating the room but also adding personal touches including a lovely birthday card specially for my son! Wow I can’t thank the team enough for everything they did in such short time too! THANK YOU!🙏🏻

The location was walking distance to the underground Canning town. [Jubilee line ] Staff were very nice. Made my daughters birthday very special by putting decorations in the room and some sweets. Very nice touch! Breakfast was a great selection for all. I enjoyed the vegetarian sausages and hashbrowns beans egg. My daughter enjoyed all the freshly baked pastries and cereal selection. She also liked the cooked breakfast options. The beds were so comfortable. If we return to London again, we will definitely stay again. Thank you.

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express – IHG was absolutely delightful from start to finish. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with every corner maintained to the highest standard. It’s clear that great care is taken to provide guests with a fresh and welcoming environment. What made the experience truly special was the incredible staff. Every team member we encountered was polite, friendly, and genuinely caring. From the warm welcome at reception to the thoughtful housekeeping team, everyone made us feel right at home. Their kindness and professionalism stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic – just a short walk to underground and bus stops, making it very easy to get around London. There are also plenty of great places to eat nearby, offering a variety of choices. Another big plus is the convenient on-site car park, which made everything even more hassle-free. A huge thank you to the whole team at Holiday Inn Express – IHG. You truly made our visit memorable, and we can’t wait to return!

Comfy beds and lovely bathroom, staff were friendly and it was in a very good location for the O2.

The shelves in the bedroom were dusty, the door key didn't always work first time. Bit temperamental. Breakfast was very busy and a queue for the 2 coffee/tea machines, one then broke or ran out of whatever, hence long queue on the other, gave up in the end. No large plates for fry up, had to pile it on a small one, they eventually put the larger ones out. No butter for the toast?? So wasted food....food was hot and was really nice 🙂. Could do with more coffee/hot water stations

Room was as expected comfortable, homely, great lighting, facilities great. Loved the double use door to separate the toilet from the shower, great use of space 11/10. USB ports v useful. Breakfast was lovely, great selection of everything apart from yogurt was in a big dish rather than pots… like the ethos to use less plastic, though. Fresh juice milk available and water all day. Staff were incredibly helpful. All staff on duty during my stay. Excellent service with a smile nothing was a problem.

Would like hot chocolate sachets as well as tea and coffee in the room, complimentary. At breakfast the jam, marmalade, honey and Nutella needed something to put them in as you can’t use the dispenser straight into a croissant or toast really.

We had a family room,very small room for 4 persons ,was warm inside ,but when the sofa bed was opened it was no more space to move in the room,we had to keep the sofa folded all day to be able to move around the room .The remote control won't work ,the handle from the bathroom door was broken ,we have stayed 2 nights ,they said they'll send someone to fix it ,no one came ,we had to be careful closing it to not lock ourselves in the bathroom .my son forgot the Man city water bottle in the room when we did the check out ,came back in the evening for it ,no one couldn't find it anymore ,it vanished .Although we were sure it dropped down behind the couch .Breakfast was perfect , more than enough and a good variety .
