The owner and his family are just amazing. Very kind, friendly and just the nicest people. We stayed there 5 nights and we felt very welcome. We would definitely recommend to stay more than one night in Shkoder and at hotel Blini. It is not yet too touristic, what we really liked! For example in the restaurants around we had dinner and were the only tourists - gives you a very authentic view and insights. We want to thank the complete hotel Blini team, our stay was unforgettable!

Our bathroom was a bit small and we wished to have like an additional table or something at our room. But we saw other rooms and they had that, so it was only a bit unlucky that our room hadn't.

Ok… so the hotel and the staff are INCREDIBLE. The hotel is super clean, they have a restaurant downstairs and the food is really good. The room is very clean and has everything you need. The only downside is that it is a 20-25 min walk to the city center, but I honestly did not mind it at all because it has nice shops and restaurants all around. The best part, however, were the workers. The hotel owner, Pjetër, went out of his way to help me out. He even drove to an ATM when I needed cash. And his son Patrick should be giving lessons on customer service. He was very welcoming and always helped you with a smile. Thank you so much for making my stay in Shkoder so special!

Excellent staff, and the owner with his family was so nice and friendly. We felt really appriciated as guests here. The room was far better than expected, roomy and i think renovated not that long ago and the bathroom was superb. We had some serious heatweave when we stayed there but the A/C took care of that. I really recommend this hotel, and would choose it again any time. We only stayed one night, but could easily stayed there much longer. Great location, just a 5 min drive to Rofaza Castle, and very close to restaurants. Not that often the staff carry your luggage up to your room, great service. Thx //Pete

Everything about the stay was excellent. The room was large the bathroom very good and a nice balcony. The location was out of town which suited my needs and although near to the main road was very quiet. From the moment we arrived the owner and his family and staff were so helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast omelettes and had some ice meals at the hotel. All round it is the best hotel that I have stayed in for a long time for value for money, service and comfort. We are already looking to return as soon as possible

The staff is very friendly and helped us to prepare the trip to Valbona the next day. At 6 am sharp a hot breakfast was ready and served, really appreciated that. You can leave the car in the parking for 3 euros / night while you are in the mountains. We liked the location as well, even though not centric, but very close to the castle and the lake, there are restaurants on the same street and a small local market at night to have a stroll

The room we got was very small and the bed was literally broken from one side, but I understand not all the rooms are the same

I already stayed at Hotel Blini about a year ago and the rooms were good. I think I rated them 8 last year. Now they have an entire floor full of brand spanking newly renovated rooms that are super nice. It's quiet, beds are comfortable, it's perfectly clean and the staff is still super friendly. Definitely worth a recommendation!

The only downside I'd say is that the hotel is about a kilometer away from the city center. It's still very walkable though and on the flipside you're really close to the river promenade that starts right next to the hotel...

Very comfortable hotel which is a family business. Attitude towards guests is appropriate, family-like. I want to note the quality of the breakfast, which is included in the price, it is excellent. The hosts kindly gave me the opportunity to wash my clothes and gave me dishes with an electric kettle for free. Another advantages: Fast wifi, location is close to the main attraction - Shkodra Castle. To the center 15-20 minutes on foot. The bus station is 20-25 minutes, from where you can get to Tirana (400 leke ~3,5 € or to Podgorica, Montenegro 10 € . Near the hotel is also a cozy lakeside promenade with restaurants and cafes where you can take a walk.

Shkodra is a bike-friendly city. I think it would be a good idea to be able to rent bikes for hotel guests (5-7 € per day). I spent 7 nights here and I really didn't find any disadvantages.

One of the highlights of our time at Hotel Blini was the host's invaluable assistance in organizing transportation. He not only arranged a taxi to Ulcinj for us but also ensured that we received a fair price, comparable to what locals would pay. The hotel's convenient location allowed us easy access to explore the fascinating attractions of Shkoder, including the impressive Rosafa Castle and the breathtaking Skadar Lake. The staff members were consistently warm, friendly, and ever-ready to offer their assistance and recommendations, making our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast at Hotel Blini was an absolute delight. I was especially impressed to learn that the omelettes were made from eggs sourced directly from the chickens that the host raises, adding a charming touch of farm-to-table freshness. The breakfast experience, with the option to dine outside the hotel, provided a delightful start to each day, surrounded by tasteful decor and an inviting ambiance.

The location is not in town centre, which you can view as a plus or a minus. Easy to get to if driving from south, and away from the touristy bit. Probably what made it so cheap. Excellent standard of rooms and facilities for the 42 euro we paid so terrific value.

The common areas including hallways and the bar restaurant do not have aircon, which is probably fine most of the time but in the great heatwave of '23 was unpleasant Room aircon was good except it wasnt on before we arrived so we had to turn it on and leave for an hour to make it habitable

The staff at Hotel Blini was great, they went above and beyond. The restaurant also had pretty nice meals in the evening. The location is nice, situated between Shkoder and Shiroka. Despite being located on a side street close to cafes and a busy street, it's still pretty quiet and relaxed. The room was good, while not a new hotel, it was clean, tidy and had an AC.

The bed in my room was very uncomfortable, though I don't know if this was just the case in my room.
