Staff both upstairs and downstairs very obliging and courteous. Appreciated the attention which never interfered with commitments I was obligated to. People often say that when staying at a pub the other guests and pub clientele reflect the atmosphere and that too was very good. Also the very large bathroom was amazing.

Only problem was bedside lamp which needed replacing but didn't worry me because after stubbing toe in dark first night, kept tv on switching off at main switch for sufficient light. Weather kept me unhappy with locale because quick walk to excellent Bankstown shops and facilities like great library ruined. Bus to Hurstville, and then Kogarah for daily commitments a long and wet nightmare.

Out of the many places I have stayed in over my 50+ years, this place was the best value for money, most convenient for parking and most courteous and helpful staff. The shower head was about 20 cm diameter and secured about 2 and half metres above ! Felt like warm rain falling over me! The inclusive "boxed breakfasts" were a great bonus. Their PIZZA's,I ordered a "Supreme" were one of the best and tastiest Pizzas i have ever eaten and together with the conplimentary glass of wine, it was a great and simple dinner. Most of all, I was enthused when they told me Nightcap has similar Hotels all over Australia.

Would have liked a microwave and Cable Tv

Solo trip as a feminine presenting person, it was a good experience overall. Very comfortable and a good area, bar connected and you get a free drink voucher. Very easy to get a park (and free too). Decently sized room and a good price for what you get. Staff were lovely and professional, I could hear another guest angrily talking to a staff member near outside my room, and she handled it like a champ.

It's little but the bathroom mirror was very streaky in a not clean/clear way, I used the mirror in the room instead. It also appeared the toilet had not been cleaned (or atleast not properly) in-between guest as there was fecal matter specks.

This is a small yet cozy hotel with excellent service and a clean environment. The reception staff are incredibly kind and generous, making the stay even more pleasant. The bedrooms are comfortable and inviting. The hotel offers four free covered parking spots, and there are more than five additional uncovered parking spaces available. It's conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from Yagoona Station, with a 45-minute train ride to Circular Quay in the city

Didn’t expect much, but the stay exceeded my expectations very much! For the price paid it is great value. Decent sized room, comfortable bed, good shower, and even free water provided. Check-in staff gave us a complimentary drink voucher for the pub as well, how good! Location is close to the train-station.

The walls and windows are very thin, so you can hear both conversations and street noise. Blind also isn’t really light-blocking.

i stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect had everything i needed was a good size was close to shops places to eat bus/train etc if your staying multiple nights your room gets made up free of charge they also offered a free drink at the bar of your choice if you wanted was easy to check in you can before hand online to make it easier when you get there i liked that room service was a option if you wanted food /drinks to your room would definitely stay again

only issue i had was with the shower the temperature is hard to adjust its either you can get it to hot or to cold but that could of just been me and the room i was in but it wasn't anything big didnt effect overall

Good value for money, clean and modern room and bathroom. Soft and comfy bed. Onside parking outside with bright security lights. Bar/pub downstairs that makes great pizzas. Very friendly staff. Let us checkout at mid day with no extra fee. Would stay again no problem.

Check in at bar with different access to rooms, Have to go back outside to other entrance. Two ceiling light globes not working, toilet roll holder half hanging off. Hot water takes forever and big delay to adjust water temperature. No clock or hair dryer but still great value. Oh, only stairs, no lift so that is not great for those with mobility issues. Also have to carry luggage upstairs. Carpark via side street, not Hume Highway, had to go around the block.

When I walked in I was greeted with a great smile and welcome from Vinny. He was very helpful at checkin. After serving me at the bar Daniel gave me a great recommendation for somewhere to eat just down the road. The room was nice and clean and very quiet. Enjoyed my stay.

Nice and clean beds and linen. Newly renovated bathroom nice and spacious. Great location, close to train station and bus stops. Friendly and helpful staff. Good amenities. Bottle water provided every day. Daily room service. Free parking provided. Value for money.

Carpet a bit worn out but it’s ok.

This hotel is on the smaller side but was nice and quiet unlike the bigger chains. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our needs. It was a quick 4 minute walk from the Yagoona station. We were able to get straight to and from the airport on one direct train. One of the nice surprises was the complimentary water bottles and milk containers that were refilled in our fridge every day. As a family traveling with young children, it was a very delightful surprise! The hotel is 2 stories and doesn't have an elevator but the staff offered to carry our luggage upstairs so it's not an issue. Overall we were more than pleased and would definitely stay again and would recommend this hotel to anyone we know.
