The fact that all the lights and the heating on the aircon worked, and regular house keeping. Most hotels I go to the lights don't work or heating /cooling don't work either, so that was great. Not only having all of that but a private bathroom for such an affordable price for 3 nights. Very close to Olympic park via an uber since I booked this hotel to go to Supanova 2025, other hotels which are normally affordable were charging $800 or more when their normal rates are around the $100 per night range. I'll definitely book again here for the future for my next convention.

Just no access to casting from my phone to the tv with Bluetooth or wifi, since the remote supports YouTube and Netflix functionality. Maybe there was wifi provided but I just didn't know, apologies in advance if that's the case.

Breakfast was not available or an option here. I knew this in advance, so I brought my own snacks and fruit for breakfast. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar is provided in the room, so no problems. Bed is clean, bathroom is clean, good parking, excellent bistro for evening meal = $19. Staff are very friendly, get to know them, they are all great. Excellent value for money, it's not the Ritz hotel but we do recommend it. We met a couple of farmers there who have been going there for 30 years. It's popular with tradies who are passing through, also families.

Please remember it's not the Ritz, but great value for money, you can't get better value. Furniture is a bit old fashioned, but bed was new, bed was very clean with it's sheets, pillows etc, bathroom has been modernised and very clean.

bath room is very clean, comfy bed, linen and bath towels are ckean and spotless, has shampoo and conditioner in a separate tubes and rooms are cleaned everyday.. Staff top up things that you need, tissue box, soaps, etc, replace towels, Aircon is working pefectly, with nice heater to make us comfortable in cold weather. has fridge and kettle to make coffee

a bit noisy at night, can hear loud noise from other rooms and sometimes the sound of cars/ vehicles as well , tv not working, should provide wifi information in the room, how to access it

The location was perfect for our stay. Having a variety of areas there to eat was a bonus. No travelling to buy meals except breakfast. Having the pub, a pizza place and a seafood restaurant site was excellent. Even though it is close to the highway the rooms were very quiet. I wife and I both had trouble with our TV remotes and the staff were very quick to resolve the problems.

A small lamp next to the beds and a hanging place for clothes would be ideal. The door in my wife's room was off it's hinges and the toilet roll holder was on the floor.

Hotel was close to the location we wanted to be at. Room was very clean. There was heaps of parking available which was free. The room was a double bed with a separate single bed. There was minimal road noise and no noise from the bar area

Other guests were noisy very late and they smoked outside the rooms and this came into our room which was very unpleasant.

Free coffee in the gaming lounge every morning. Had a meal from the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered the mixed meat platter between 3 of us and we still didn't eat it all. We were able to take the rest away with us

It met all my expectations, and the location was the main reason we chose The Palms as it was close to where we needed to be.

It offers daily room tidy up and restocking of supplies in the bathroom, tea/coffee, milk etc. Low traffic noise even though it's close to a busy road and very convenient location for buses. Bathroom was tiny but did like the large counter space in bathroom. Great food options close by.

Not sound proof to what's happening in the other rooms. Hard to sleep through everyone else making noise, doors slamming and late arrivals and also able to hear the couple having sex a couple of rooms down so not very private. The lock on the bedroom window is broken can't lock the window, fly screen on window needs replacing has very large holes and window rattles loudly when it's windy. Room was very small and bathroom was tiny.

The room was clean and tidy. The food was great value for money and delicious. I recommend the dim sims on the side. The drinks are reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful.

They allow smoking indoors in the pokies area, so the smell obviously wafts through the place but it didn’t worry me much.

It was comfortable and well kept. The staff were lovely. We had to check out early due to travel schedules clashing but we loved our stay. We spent the night watching Critical Roll on the YouTube provided on the tv and we slept in because we were so comfortable and we had all afternoon to get ready for our concert. realising we had better go to the airport straight after the concert rather than sleep and hope to get a taxi or Uber a 3am, we checked out early. I’d just like to say, it was a great stay and thank you for your service. The concert was amazing and everything we dreamed it would be. Thank You
