The room and view was absolutely stunning. We had our own little patio that overlooks the pool, golf course, and in the distance the mountains and trees. Pity it was too cold to hang out outside but it wa still lovely. The lady in reception advised us that she’d upgraded our room from the queen spa to king spa which was greatly appreciated. The bed was super comfy and huge, made even more homey with electric blankets, and the spa was a great way to relax. Location was a around a 25 min walk from the station (we don’t drive) but was worth it for the peace and quiet.

Emily at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. Our (twin) room was definitely furnished in an older style but we knew that when we booked and found it quaint. It had a small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The beds were very comfortable and it was lovely to have additional woollen blankets in the cupboard and the option of electric blankets which we used to make the beds toasty and then switched off. There was a reverse cycle A/C if needed and a throw on each bed which we used as shawls when sitting on our little balcony in the crisp morning air enjoying a morning coffee. The easy to use Venetian blinds allowed us to have good control over the amount of light in the room. The balcony looked out over a pleasant green view, breathing in the wonderfully fragrant air and listening to birdsong. The bathroom had a shower, and soap & conditioner dispensers with extra tissues and toilet tissue. . It also had overhead heating lights which really made a difference in the chilly weather. There was lots of available parking. The wifi worked well.

It would have been useful to have more crockery and kitchen utensils. Particularly as the property does not have catering and is far from any restaurants or cafes (which was a lovely tranquil experience, but meant that we had hoped to be able to cook a basic dinner and breakfast). We were travelling back to Sydney from a few days in Canberra and had our own food with us. There was nothing in which to make a salad and although there was a hot plate in the cupboard, there were no pots or pans for boiling an egg or making an omelet. It would also be helpful to have a tv guide so guests can easily locate the tv channels instead of flicking through the copious number of blank channels trying to find the working channels. However, once you found a channel, the tv reception and sound were good.

We stayed at the Golfview for 2 nights. It is a little out of the main town in a quiet area but a quick drive in to shops and restaurants. Our room, whilst not overly huge was perfectly adequate. The bed was okay, although my husband felt it sloped a little on the side. We really appreciated the little kitchenette which had a toaster, microwave, kettle and to our delight a small electric portable two burner stove. We like to brew our own coffee so it was perfect for that. Well appointed with crockery and cutlery. The water was hot and wifi good. Also liked having a sofa and table with chairs plus a desk. The outlook was across a lovely garden onto the golf course. There is even a little gazebo you can sit in. Our room had a small patio that you could sit out on and enjoy the view. Plenty of parking available and we received a warm welcome on check in. We would definitely stay again.

Even though the property is quite old, The interior design is lovely. It was in keeping with the age of the place but with some lovely quirky little details. I really liked it! It was delightful and cozy.

The GPS doesn't really quite get it right. It took me through some beautiful back country that I've never seen before and I really enjoyed it because I had the time. After going around in a great block circle I did start to get a bit put off though.Some lovely people gave me directions and it was very easy then.

We were looking for a 2 night stay in and around the Bowral area on our journey back from Bendigo and this place was the most affordable option for 2 rooms. The rooms were a little old school, however clean, spacious and comfortable with aircon, electric blankets and very quiet location. Staff very friendly. 5 min drive into town centre for Breakfast and shopping.

No real complaints. The microwave was dirty and needed cleaning.

The spa was excellent. The bed was soft and comfortable. There were plenty of plates, cups, etc which was very handy. Overall a lovely room. Bathroom was clean, big and bright. The grounds outside were beautiful with gardens, a gazebo and swimming pool, tennis courts and golf course.

The lounge was ok but I think there may have been spring issues as it sunk dramatically in the middle. And there was some mould on the ceiling. We weren't sure if the driveway was 2-ways or not as the arrows were worn away, but all good.

Lovely welcoming receptionist. The rooms are very well equipped and have everything you need - toiletries, tissues, hairdryer, and in the kitchenette crockery, cutlery, a fridge, microwave, grill.......... We weren't expecting such facilities for the price. Everything clean.

Yes, as other reviews, the property is older and could do with a bit of an uplift, but it is good value and very well equipped. The single beds were a bit soft but that is a matter of personal preference. One towel each is fine for 1 night - we would probably have asked for more if we'd been staying longer.

It's located in beautiful view from the golf course and the mountain. Handy for going to many different landmarks. The staffs are really helpful and kind. She let me use the same room after I booked for another day as previously I planned for only 1 night stay but then I wanted to explore more thus,I booked 1 more night with different room. Very kind of them that they let me stay in the same room.

Delightful and very helpful lady (the owner?) at reception. The motel is old style, possibly from the 70s, but very clean and comfortable and everything worked well. The facilities were simple but adequate, with good access to power points. The view out towards the golf course was restful. See attached picture of the room and of the view at the rear.

The shower cubicle was a bit cramped. The motel is somewhat old-fashioned.
