Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Food in restaurant was excellent.Lounge area with fire also very nice.

For the price charged, the bedrooms were a bit underwhelming. Decor was dated and lack of amenities you would expect at a premium hotel (e.g. robes, premium toiletries, quality furniture and decor)

Loved the quaint country style decor and communal areas, particularly the fireplace.

Overpriced for the quality and rooms not clean (shower had someone else’s hair in it and dirty floors)

Comfortable room. Compact but functional bathroom. The combination of the central heater near the door and electric heater in the bedroom kept things nice and cosy. The included breakfast was great. Dinner was excellent and decent value for money. You have drive to get anywhere, but that’s not a major issue. Plenty of eateries in Bowral (Monaco is terrific) only a short drive away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Grounds look nice but it was too cold to stay outside. All up, a lovely stay with plenty to do in the area (Fitzroy Falls is spectacular) or sit in the lounge in front of the fire.

Everywhere except the rooms is “fully licensed” and it’s restaurant prices for drinks, so a couple of pre dinner drinks can be a bit costly.

A wonderful hotel with a stylish and homely country vibe, comfortable, with an excellent cooked breakfast included in the restaurant style dining room. Lovely view from the dining room and lounge area over the garden and golf course across the road. We enjoyed drinks in the lounge in comfortable couches in front of a large open fire tended by the friendly barman who served us from where we sat. We stayed in a small double room, probably a standard size, but the large windows let in lots of light and created a sense of space. A short drive into the CBD.

The bathroom is very small, but newly renovated in a stylish fashion.

Breakfast was from a limited choice but well thought out and beautifully presented. This was especially welcome since there was a district blackout but breakfast was still efficiently served. Staff were very polite and willing to assist us with any enquiries.

The younger travel companion would have liked cable TV to be included; although available, we had no idea of passwords to our streaming services. Perhaps this could be noted when booking. Also, we were unable to both connect to the wifi at once; again, if this was mentioned in the room ammenities book in the room it would have saved a lot of frustration. Unfortunately we stayed on a public holiday and the bar and restaurant were closed which was a disappointment as they looked delightful

Please hire a gardener and attend to your garden it would elevate your property to exeptional Was a bit disappointed by the seafood linguine we offered which were too cooked The pate was excellent and the tartare ok needed a little bit more seasoning but that’s personal. Great touch to have had the chef served us and Michael gave us exceptional service at Ethos for our dinner .

It was a very cold day when we arrived but our room was warm and cosy which was so good! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Wifi was free and fast. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was lovely, a choice of several cooked breakfast options or continental, served in the dining room which gets the morning sun. We were asked what time we would like to have breakfast and they were ready for us with the coffee/food (all good quality) served very soon after we were seated.

There is a lovely communal lounge area and we were looking forward to having a cuppa and biscuit in front of the fire when we arrived given it was an extremely cold, windy, rainy day. A perfect reward for battling the elements to get there. However, the fire wasn’t lit when we arrived at 4pm and other than reception which was busy, there was no one around to even ask for a coffee so that was a bit disappointing.

the room and bed was very comfortable. Quality items for tea, coffee etc and bathroom products of high standard. Breakfast was very good, food and service. the outlook from the dining room towards the golf course was very pleasant as was the courtyard garden between the parking and the rooms. The bar and lounge area looked very inviting and cosy. We'd love to return for more than one night and when the dining room was open for dinner.

The bathroom was a bit tiny, but workable.

We had a fabulous time at Links House. The staff were helpful and incredibly friendly. We would definitely recommend the hotel restaurant - the food was amazing and Michael was a superb host. It’s a quaint hotel and the rooms were lovely and felt cosy.

The only downside of the hotel is that the walls were quite thin. We could hear people in the rooms next to us and in the hallway.

Links House is a charming small hotel with a beautiful country atmosphere and friendly staff. The restaurant is superb, one of the best meals we have ever had. The location near the golf course is lovely and quiet yet close to the heart of Bowral. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway to a quaint guest house style vacay I would recommend Links House. Make sure you book for dinner as the restaurant is quite an intimate small setting.

We had a Heritage room. It was cozy and there were several heaters but it is cold given the big windows and the addition of a blanket/throw rug would be great. The Southern Highlands magazines from 2021-2022 could be upgraded as mentions of past covid times were best forgotten for a weekend away. These are small things though. Links House is beautiful and we would stay there again.
