The room and attached bathroom were nicely decorated and well organised, with all the amenities that we required. It was very quiet in the room. Check in was very easy. We appreciated getting an earlier check in than we had expected. We had a small matter to raise with the staff (our mistake) and they were very friendly and kind in sorting it out. Eling Forest Winery is a very pretty property to wander around. It is also close to the main road making it easy to go exploring the little villages near by. It also has a lovely onsite cafe.

Room no 5 we stayed in, Room 4 came up before 5, The room placement was out of order and the sign leading you to rooms 3,2,1 didn’t include room 5?? Even though they’re in the same location 🤷🏻‍♂️ Quite confusing Wifi coverage not great.

Fantastic location set in beautiful grounds. We rented 4 units in the main building, which were connected by a verandah. This was really handy for our extended family group. All units were more spacious than we anticipated. The beds were very comfortable and had plenty of blankets and pillows. All rooms had been renovated, although not recently, and were reasonably heated. The covered outdoor area behind units 4 & 5 was an unexpected surprise. Very easy and reasonably safe access from the highway.

It would have been nice to have a microwave or some other means of heating food, although nothing was promised. Our units were superior to the Headmaster's cottage, which was quite austere and poorly heated in comparison.

The estate was gorgeous and well maintained. Loved that it had accommodation, cafe and a cellar all in one! Good food and coffee and best part for us was being able to do onsite wine tasting. Our accommodation room was neat and tidy. Love the large queen bed. Check in was made super easy. Recommend if heading down to Southern Highlands!

Would be good to have blinds for the bathroom window for extra privacy. The window is high up but will be more comforting to have something than not.

The location was perfect for a quiet overnight stay. Spacious room, and a cosy sitting room with kitchenette and bonus pot-belly fire. Everything we could need and more, some family history dotted around on the walls was a nice homey touch. The property had rolling hills beyond with wildlife, a pond with geese. The cafe served quality food with a warm country atmosphere. We would recommend Eling Forest for sure.

Really nice experience- very cosy at an affordable price.

Some facilities could be improved. There is an outdoor fire in the pics which is not lit at night. Also there was a hot tub there which would have been great to use (this was not in the advertisement though). Also if the cafe hours were a bit longer it would be better too.

The outdoor view was amazing and magical like you enter a fairytales backyard. It nice to take pictures anywhere, especially the flowers was unique and pretty. You see gooses swimming, rabbit hopping in the garden. It also gives you a feel of what the inside of the house look like in the old times.

The heater did not really work. The water would takes a bit long for it to get warm. But the bed was comfortable.

Great location and friendly and helpful staff. The accommodation and facilities are simple but clean, cozy and charming with some really nice touches. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The cottage and the gardens around the farm were even nicer than the pictures. We ordered the antipasto board for dinner and they were kind enough to bring it to the cottage for us while we were out. It was delicious! Would stay again

Location great, we were looking for a spot to stop mid journey. Eling Winery was great location. There was little to no noise from the highway being so close. We got there late and the directions and room location was exactly as described. Being an old building the room was as expected. Old but comfortable, and the heritage features were just beautiful. In the morning it was lovely to see the gorgeous cottage gardens and lake. Would've liked to stay longer to explore the property and winery! Bed was comfy with beautiful bedding and great soft towels which is what you need after a long drive.

The bathroom was tired looking and could do with a spruce up and a cobweb clean out. BUT the shower was hot and amenities provided.

Our bedroom is comfortable and has been carefully prepared by the lovely staff for our evening arrival. The surrounding is picturesque. The cafe has delicious breakfast set within a cute building. We really enjoyed our stay. It is a great place to spend a night travelling between ACT and Sydney.

It took me sometime and an extra attempt to make a turn on the highway during the night, but it was me alone... Now I know where it is I would love to make another visit😄
