The location is simply fantastic. Everything is within walking distance: the lighthouse, Clark's Beach right outside, local shops, and restaurants like Casa Luna and Trattoria Basiloco (delicious). Jamie and Annie are simply fantastic. Thank you again. Apartment 12 is beautiful, with a magnificent terrace overlooking the forest, quiet, and bright. However, the apartment could use a new air conditioner, refrigerator, and stove. The air conditioner is sticky, has an unpleasant odor, and emits black particles. Cooking on the stove was very difficult because the heat couldn't be regulated. The refrigerator lacks a separate freezer compartment, which is very important for me as a long-term vacationer. Furthermore, food left behind was completely frozen.

location was fairly quiet and near the beach and lighthouse walk. Room was right at back and quiet and on rainforest with its own garden. I was upgraded to a bigger room at the back which was very comfortable and large. Bed very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking good. Kitchen was comprehensive. Nice open french windows all around. Nice open spaces, dining, lounge and bedroom area.

Furnishings were tired, kind of old and worn. But for price and location fine. There was no dryer. No TV in bed area. Came with old books to read which were kind of creepy. Would have preferred not to have had them. It was a fair walk into Byron but I did have a car. Wouldnt have been keen to be here without a car. Bathroom was a bit worn out. Needs renovating.... but then the price would go up...

The location was sensational. It was comfortable, homely, clean, and had everything we needed.

We are overall very happy. If i had to think of one thing we didn't like, it was not having enough basic supllies (toilet rolls, tea bags, or soap) for our 8 night stay. Appreciated the prompt help from the staff to amend things for us. Overall, we are very happy and would happily return. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The apartment was is a get location only a 20 minute walk from the bus station, 15 minutes walk away to the Main Street and the beach is straight across the road. We were welcomed with some ice cold stone and wood beers which I thought was a lovely touch and just made the start of our trip that bit more special. Also the receptionist was so helpful and let us check in 5 hours early ! The apartment it’s self was great! Nice and cool even without air conditioning on. Can tell the owner has really thought about everything to make your trip comfortable, lots of little touches! It’s definitely big enough for three to share. Would definitely stay here again.

Couldn’t fault it

The apartment was clean and quiet and comfortable. I especially liked the large L shaped balcony with multiple seating and lounging options. The apartment was a small studio type apartment suitable for one or two people but the balcony could accommodate at least four!

Location was good but when walking back from the centre of town at night, if you are a single woman alone, I recommend you take a torch for the last stretch back to the apartment. No street lighting in parts. Also be aware that reception is only open limited hours. You must check out by 10am but, if your flight is not until late in the afternoon, reception will only mind your luggage until 1pm. You may need to take that into consideration.

Its location was brilliant, parking very handy. Bed was really comfy, shower had good pressure. The courtyard was very beautiful to look at. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The dishwasher and hob need to updated all the lettering on the controls are missing and the dishwasher just didn’t seem to want to work but did eventually. Also if you say you provide beach chairs etc they should be fit for purpose not falling to bits. Felt the courtyard was extremely dark which on the day it rained it didn’t matter too much but on the sunny day it was a bit oppressive. Just my taste perhaps. Felt the room could have been cleaner had to clean things myself which left me feeling a bit icky. Whilst the room decoration was very tasteful all the objects did take up a lot of room for a small let.

Nice location, modern & private

We had 3 different rooms among us & all 3 were very different. Ours was the smallest considering we booked for more people. Not the best location for young kids. The screen door wouldn’t lock with the key so hard to keep a toddler in, also easy for them to get to the main road. Also lack of communication with staff. Very hard to get into contact with them unless you call you don’t get a response.

The location out of the town central worked well for us. Located across from the car park at Clark’s beach made for an easy walk down to the beach!

Our unit had a nice sized court yard which was great to leave surfboard, beach chairs and umbrella. Good security for car and us. We rented the one bedroom, yet there was plenty of space and pleasant airflow throughout!

The location is the best, especially if you want to surf the pass. It's just a short walk to the town centre too. We did not use the car for anything in or around Byron.

In terms of cleaning, there was a bit of confusion in terms of fresh sheets and cleaning floors. It did not bother us but being clear when cleaning is scheduled would be useful.

Great location. Well maintained building. Good space. Great balcony. We really enjoyed our stay:)

In instructions: press A to open garage door No dish towel. Too bright in am w sky light. Worried We were gunna run outta toilet paper. Beach towels should have been in room, as person at reception was gone a lot. Bed was squeaky.
