The owner Michelle could not do enough for us. She is attentive and responsive and has a wonderful sense of humour. The room had a separate bedroom and the mattresses were perfect. Two air-conditioners worked perfectly on one of the hottest nights of the year so far. The shower was excellent and the towels were fluffy. The small kitchenette was fully equipped. If only other motels could keep this standard, there would be many more happy travellers.

Most of the good motels now are dispensing with soap bars and tiny sachets. Those which use the on wall dispensers for shampoo and body wash are efficient and save time and cost. Maybe that could be planned into the future.

Friendly staff. clean, well equipped, comfortable

Guests keeping their engines running as the cars are parked next to the rooms - this is handy but guests should be aware of car noise. I would have liked it if the outside lights went off or were on sensors so it wasn’t so bright coming through the edges of the blinds. However, they did have block out blinds so it wasn’t too bad. I couldn’t figure out how to use Netflix - but Im sure there is a way and not a big deal.

Michelle, the owner greeted me and shook my hand, walked me to our room and asked if I was happy with it. I was beyond delighted. We booked a family room and it was like 2 adjoining rooms with a shared bathroom- far exceeded our expectations. Michelle provided us with 2 milks (generous). The pool was clean. The rooms and bathroom were clean. The aircon was great. Great central location.

Everything was great.

The room was excellent, with a comfortable bed and a quirky but clean bathroom. I say "quirky" because of the loo—see the photo attached for the explanation. The pillows were awesome. I think there is one for every kind of sleeper, so I found a great one. The staff member I met was happy and friendly. She took me to my room and asked me if I was happy! I was.

Unfortunately, a road crew was also staying there. They decided to hold a little "session" outside my room, disturbing my sleep on my excellent pillow. I mentioned it to the staff member the following morning, and she said she had spoken to them. It's not the motel's fault if louts stay there.

You will be greeted by the owner Michelle, she is a lovely lady, makes you feel welcomed and introduces herself with a strong handshake and will show you to your room and ask you if your room is okay, I felt like I was staying at a friends home with how comfortable Michelle made me. The room is newly renovated and sound proof, I could not hear the storm outside until I opened the door. Beds are huge and comfortable. 10/10 would go back.

Check in was easy. The facilities were very good and staff asked me if I needed new towels etc each day although this wasn't necessary. It was nice that everything was new obviousl;y following the floods.

A digital clock rather than a wall clock would have been better. I would have liked an information folder outlining things to see and places to eat in Lismore however this may be a work in progress as the town gets back to normal.

The management and all staff were exceptional! The hotel was clean, beds extremely comfortable and the location was within walking distance to the main town centre, we spent a week here and enjoyed our stay immensely! Thankyou to Jamie the manager and all staff 100% amazing hospitality

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff that greeted us were so friendly and professional! We even got shown to our room instead of just being given the key. The rooms are all brand new — they're being renovated by the owner after the floods. The room was huge, it was actually two rooms (we booked the family room), had two tvs and a beautifully clean bathroom. We weren't expecting to have all the amenties that we did — including a fridge and microwave, large sink (separate from the bathroom), two air cons and even a heater and spare blankets. Parking was great. The pool looked good (too cold to test it out though!).

The only thing that could have been better was being able to stay longer!

The room was lovely, very fresh and clean. Air-con was great. Bed was very comfy. But the best part was the service, Cheryl was absolutely lovely, helpful and accommodating. Couldn't fault the experience.

Absolutely nitpicking here because everything was great, but there was a small very high window on one side of the room that didn't have a curtain, which flooded the room with light in the morning, when we would have preferred it to be dark, as we'd had a late night.

The room we stayed in was newly refurbished, it was modern,roomy and comfortable. The kitchen area was well set up with sink, fridge, microwave and even a sandwich toaster, that was handy as it is not close to eateries and we found it easier to re heat meals Everything was very clean, I was very happy with our room.

The waterproof mattress protector made an annoying squeaky noise. The motel is a fair distance from main town as we usually like to walk to Cafe etc.
