The accommodation was lovely. Stylish, spacious and clean. We were not thrilled with the restaurant even though I was aware that it is not connected to the hotel. Service was good though

The receptionist who greeted us on arrival was lovely, friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately could not say the same about the receptionist when we checked out. My friend and I wanted to pay separately but to my surprise the money had been debited from my account on the day we checked in. The receptionist bluntly stated that this was in the information provided to us. Fair enough, I hadn't noticed that but she was not willing to do anything to help us out so that my friend could pay her share. It may seem like a minor point but I walked away feeling a bit miffed. I think it was her attitude more than anything.

The room was very comfortable and cosy after a long, cold day at the Small Farm Field day. Loved the complimentary home made treats, the selection of teas and the coffee maker. The room was clean and lots of comfy pillows. We had a spa in our room which was a nice addition. Reception had put the air con on before we arrived, so it was warm and toasty. Plenty of communication from reception regarding our stay and where to park. The location was central to the shops but also nice and quiet in our room.

It was a beautiful room with very little street/traffic noise. Close to a lot of shops and restaurants. Also we loved the old architecture and how it has been retained.

The bed was incredibly soft and not supportive enough for your backs. The room really needs a window you can open to let a little fresh air in, it got quite stuffy the first night.

Bed a bit soft, we had a second floor room, if you have mobility issues I would recommend and ground floor room. Room 7 a bit cramped and could do with a refresh, window needed propping up to stay open, ceiling fan would have been nice. No on site parking, street parking limited to 2 hours.

Wow ! Our room was magnificent. Fabulous Management and all staff who all went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful weekend. I have been to Mudgee many times and this was my first visit to Cob and Co. I will be back, I have found my favorite accommodation right in the middle of town.

I have no complaints or even suggestions for improvement.

The rooms were beautifully presented, and our late check in was supported and well communicated. The off-street parking was easily managed. There was a high level of luxury in the room with lovely touches such as the local chocolates on the bed. It was also lovely to have milk ready for that much needed cuppa. The location was excellent with many options for an evening meal within walking distance. The office staff were so welcoming and helpful. Definitely worth the stay.

Perfect location, walking distance to the pubs,cafes and restaurants. My room was on the ground floor which led to the restaurant and courtyard. The lady at reception was a delight. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of pressure.Definitely stay again. The only drawback was the fact that there was no parking on the property. You had to park on the road opposite the hotel because of the time limit

Everything was perfect

Hotel is situated in a great location, close to cafes & boutique stores. The supermarket is close by too. The room we had faced the Main Street but it was quiet. The carpeted floor and room heating made it comfortable. We did have a room with a kitchen but because of the location we barely used it. The location made it ideal for a relaxed trip away.

The limited time on the parking on a weekday made it challenging. They do give you a heads up on the time restrictions. However if you’re out during the day driving around it’s not really an issue.

Great location in the centre of Mudgee, close to shops, parks and facilities. A very comfortable and well appointed historic hotel in the old style.

Unfortunately the Restaurant was undergoing renovations and was therefore unavailable to us for either dinner or breakfast. Access to the upper bedrooms by stairs from the open courtyard would be difficult for those guests with mobility issues.

The room was cozy, comfortable and very clean. Loved the location, it's in the centre of town and an easy walk to the shops, cafes and good pubs. Will be staying here again in November.

The courtyard was a bit noisy in the morning due to the cafe downstairs, but we expected this having dined there ourselves. In the evening the cafe courtyard lit a fire pit and the smell of smoke was strong in our room.
