LOCATION was really good . You can walk to mid town for food & shopping. Good off street parking . No breakfasts or restaurant operating over the 2 nights we were there. MUDGEE civic gardens & pathways were of the highest standard & everything was very tidy & well done. Even at night time MUDGEE is very well lit , has good wide streets & we generally liked the town & its surrounds.

Not the end of the world but no globes in the bed lights. If the toilet had SOFT CLOSE seats that would be a good too. It is an older style traditional Motel that has been updated & represents good value in this expensive location which receives large visitor crowds at weekends, looking to try out all the wineries & local brewery. It was quite crowded so restaurants & cafes seemed to be fully booked. If you dont like crowds, suggest going mid week.

I walked to the right and around the corner to the right for breakfast. Perfect walking distance. Yummy. Good pricing and great little breakfast place. Name escapes me now, but easy to find.

No hairdryer in room. We had a few rooms myself and friends that day and the others all had one old fashioned, on the wall. But for some strange reason, mine didn't. Haven't stayed anywhere for about 30 years and they didn't offer one of those, on wall or hidden in a drawer, reading their book 'contact reception' we might take a deposit!!! Yikes. Friends had the big two room unit at big price and basically unrenovated I was told. Bathroom sink in the kitchen. They weren't happy.

This was once an old style, simple two storey motel but a well thought out renovation a few years ago really brightened it up. Excellent electrical provisions, some good interior designs and a very good bathroom raised the quality. There was a small amount of wear and tear but I had a very comfortable, pleasant night. It was very quiet even with high occupancy.

It was old on the outside but well kept on the inside, going by my room. So there was nothing really to dislike or complain about.

It was very clean, location was perfect :)

I was a little disappointed as I could not access the Internet at all very frustrating when trying to work while you are away especially that's why I stayed the second night :( no FOXTEL ? I have already booked for the 11th May not knowing about my current experience etc. Can I confirm that I can have assistance to access the internet etc

The staff were invaluable and very pleasant to talk to the room was very comfortable and the best thing was that there was no noise to disturb our sleep so we enjoyed our short stay and would not hesitate to book this motel if or when we return to Mudgee

Breakfast was great! The bed was comfortable and the room suited our needs for the night. Proper milk in the fridge for tea/coffee was a bonus instead of UHT. Microwave, toaster etc. The bath towels were very generous in size (bathsheets). Owner is pleasant and friendly.

The flickering main fluorescent light which we had to turn off due to the constant flickering. Luckily there were 3 other wall lights. Reported the problem at check-out the following morning and the owner said he would fix it.

It was an accessible room with lots of spaciousness to move around in the room with a mobility walker. It was easy access for bathroom- such a relief. We were well away from the road noise down back of the facility.

Need to mention that they need to turn their mattresses around as most people get into and sit on one side of the bed which flattens that side. That was obvious to sleep in as there is a dip jn that patch.

Cleaniness was good since we had a car distance wasn't a problem but was close to restaurants and shops anyway. microwave jug and toaster were a bonus but washing dishes in bathroom sink was awkward. A/C worked well but I felt it was too cold directly on me but room was too hot without it. A fan would have been nice

no fan, no local news channel or movie chanel without streaming.

The room was quite large and provided everything and more we needed for our one night stay. Being close to the town of Mudgee, our companion was able to walk safely into the main town.

We had not requested a room on the ground floor so found it difficult to negotiate the stairs with our bags. This was no fault of management as the establishment was heavily booked.

Good shower. Very comfortable Queen bed, Good size TV, easy to use remote controls, ample plates, cutlery, microwave, fridge, kettle, cookies,tea coffee, milk, etc. Direct booking is cheaper than through agents.

Nothing significant at all, plenty of miners vehicles leaving from 4.30am on.
