Comfortable and quiet accommodation and parking, right in the centre of town. The room was perfect and had good facilities in the kitchenette like kettle, fridge, microwave, stove, toaster, iron and board, tea & coffee & biscuits. The shower in our room which has been renovated was exceptional. There is a really good choice for the complimentary breakfast across the road with several options, including a cooked breakfast or museli & fruit and both were yummy.

Instructions to get to our room wasn't explained very clearly as our room was K3, which was stuck in the middle of the normal numbering system near room 9. Confusing.

Very nice room with excellent blackout curtains (helps my sleep). A cut above the average motel accommodation. Very quiet location, didn't need ear plugs, not a sound from the street. Well equipped for a motel room with stove and microwave. Breakfast included with a token to "spend" at the cafe across the road. Will definitely stay again.

The wifi was sporadic and regularly dropped out entirely yet I wasn't far from the office. Otherwise, no complaints.

The breakfast service at the associated restaurant was lacking while the food was great we had to wait 45 mins for a coffee ever after the order was taken twice . We had already eaten and table cleaned off and still waiting for the coffee . The complementary breakfast menu in the room was different to the one at the restaurant numerous things were missing . There was no top up of coffee sugar and milk etc even though we stayed 2 nights.

We had stayed at this Motel a couple of times before. So coming thro again, I knew where we would stay. Booked a twin room incl breakfast for $143 for 1 night. I did not realise this until I came to do the review. We were allocated Room 10. Its a very nice double room with parking out the front. It has a kitchenette incl sink. Induction stove, microwave & enough cooking utensils to cook some dinner if you felt like doing so. We were going out to dinner, however, & breakfast is provided, so no cooking for us. Air con & ceiling fan & electric blanket on the bed. Everything is in good working order wifi works well & there is a tv. The windows are openable, which I always really like. The ensuite is smallish & the shower has a rain shower head. There is a retractible clothes line too, which is an excellent idea for those on a longer road trip. The motel located right in town with easy walking to eating places for dinner. Breakfast is complementary with the room. It is held in the restaurant Larsens across the road from 7am. It is very generous & incl a choice of poached eggs & bacon & tomato, baked beans, savoury mince or cereal, yogurt fruit & a coffee, tea hot choc or juice, all served by pleasant staff. You can choose more, but that comes with a reasonable price tag. We chose the lighter choice of cereal, yogurt & fruit, which was excellent. Even though the motel is located on a corner & right in town, it was very quiet & we slept well. This motel still represents very good value given the complementary breakfast & the very comfortable room. It did not matter to us that the bed configuration was not what I booked.

Both rooms were very clean though the bathrooms were different qualities. The room on our first nights stay was $17 cheaper than the room on our return. The breakfast was great value on both visits. The managers were very pleasant and helpful.

The bathroom in the second room was very difficult to manoeuvre for me as I have knee issues and it was very small.

Friendly welcoming. My queen room had all facilities with nice heating system , stove etc Good information details located in room - regarding the town etc. Fantastic evening meal delivery and tasty pizza from Larsens Licenced Restaurant who were located just across the road. Sadly I was unable to accept the complimentary motel brekki offer.

Location was good. I visited Gulgong to connect with my family living near this historical country town. The New Year holiday period had limited services but the Ten Dollar motel served an excellent breakfast in local coffee shop from 2nd January and one pub provided excellent meals on New Year's Day with bookings in advance and was open on New Year's Eve.

Bathroom par excellence. Shower water pressure was great, good hot water, shower did not leak, dual toilet rolls at the right height and a toilet brush, now sadly missing in 9/10 other so called 4 star motels. Excellent breakfast included. Tea and coffee provided PLUS Biscuits. Comfy beds and proper pillows. TV more than adequate.

I needed to buy some forks and 2 dinner plates as it had a microwave but nothing to eat off.

i m not sure if all rooms have been renovated, and from reading some of the other reviews the answer is probably “not really”, but I got room K3 and it was all brand new. it had a full size kitchen in it, bathroom was big and with a massive shower head (which is always nice). Bed was comfy, wifi was poor, but had netflix so, who cares! I was about to give a 8.5 but they slid in an electric blanket in the comfy double bed so…it s a 10 for me! such a nice and cozy stay!

breakfast could be improved. I don’t eat much in the am but it was very “basic”, even for me.
