A very spacious room with good facilities including a quality large screen TV. Lovely relaxing grounds. A nice location although need to drive to central city area for restaurants, pubs etc. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Easy parking very close to room although stairs to first floor room. Happy to take the option of no daily room service for 3 night stay as long as we can have top up of tea and milk etc and fresh towels if needed.
The only shower head was the overhead rain type. This doesn’t suit everyone so really need a regular wall based lower shower head option as well.

We liked the location, and the scenic views the resort offers. Also liked the rooms. Clean and maintained.
The restaurant service was slow. Also the food is not that great. Not many options in Continental breakfast and also for our last day of our stay it was ala carte and all hell broke loose. Service was pathetic and food served was half burnt. Couldn't get eggs fried right! All the time the excuse was we had a big weekend and now we don't have staff! Pathetic restaurant service. Would not recommend ala carte as they cannot handle personalised orders clearly!

We loved the nice big room worth a good bathroom. Facilities such as the tennis court were fun. Loved how quiet it was as a little out of town but its an easy walk to town. Beautiful outlook from the room. Lovely staff who were very helpful. Easy to park. The bar is a really nice place to sit for a drink.
There really needs to be some type of partitioning on the top, long balcony. Just a 1m wide x 2m tall screen would be beneficial to keep other guests within their room's boundary. Next door had a couple sit in the chairs in front of their room, taking away any privacy and blocking their view. They were told to move but having a small screen between rooms would give guests a clear message to stay in their boundary. The tennis racquets need updating. Restaurant has a limited menu and not great food so head into town for food.

I had a downstairs room towards the back of the premises. The room was really spacious and very well appointed and laid out. There was Bplenty of parking. The balcony seating outside the room was a lovely addition. I had breakfast onsite and can say that it was the best muesli that I’d ever had- house made. There was way too much for me, though and I wished I’d had a little box to take the rest for later. The pool area is great. Next time I’ll be taking my swimming gear to keep up my daily hydro session. All staff members were caring and accommodating. I was even able to get a shower chair and a nonslip mat to address mobility issues.
The thing that was lacking in my room was a freezer in the fridge. I’d purchased some wonderful local cheeses and needed to freeze my cold bricks for the journey home.

Great size rooms and very modern. Everything was clean as it should be. Location was great. We actually rode our bikes into town for dinner.
The pool area has extremely slippery tiles including bathrooms etc so not ideal with children. The gym has three pieces of equipment and one was out of order and another was just a bike so please don’t think you will get much training done. The frisbee golf course is missing some starter markers and one hole was covered in tall grass… I’m assuming the new tent builds have started an elimination of this course… we enjoyed that it was at least still there.

It was close to the town and the room was nice.
We thought the breakfast was pricey at $30 for a full buffet pp and then a further $5 for a machine barista coffee We also was put out at being charged $80 upon check in for an extra cleaning charge for our dog - a small toy poodle. There was no mention of this in the listing. We searched for pet friendly accomodation only seemingly not so! We weren't happy with the extra charge because had we been aware of this then we would have stayed elsewhere . The place was fine though but just worked out to be quite an expensive stay with the extras. We also thought the Gardener on his ride on mower outside at 8- 8.30am was a bit loud !

nice large room, nice view, comfortable bed, easy access, friendly staff. check in was very fast despite it being a busy time of year, which is often something that hotels are slow at. location is very convenient, not to close to town but close enough for convenience and well placed if you are visiting the wineries.
entry doors are drafty because there's no jamb at the top. bit more attention to detail needed with cleaning, incredibly dusty behind bedside tables when plugging in charger and bathroom floors were a bit dirty. the walkways and stairs at the back could do with a bit of a sweep. restaurant staff need training, junior staff had to get the supervisor 3 times for us, twice for dietary questions and a third time to process a cash payment. didn't seem to be much signage or information in the rooms about the facility such as where the pool and gym etc are would have been great.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the tent was absolutely amazing. I did not expect such a beautiful bathroom, the sink at the door was a great touch. The bed was huge and extremely soft and facing the mountains was excellent, it made us feel like we were in a secluded location. The pool was really cold, perfect for me but I did get cramps in my arms as it was a bit too cold
The light shone all night through our front door, a block out curtain would been helpful Besides swimming, there was nothing else to do. The pool was way too cold for my partner. An outside pool would also be nice, it got too crowded inside. The tent ramp needs steps, we stayed in number 7, I am short and had alot of trouble getting up especially when carrying luggage

Everything was amazing! Very modern, beautiful place, well manicured, very clean, lovely staff, plenty of amenities. Love it was dog friendly, we stayed in one of the dog friendly rooms and it was very clean!
Only points of criticism would be that you can hear your neighbours easily through all the walls, doors and above-had some very rude above neighbours that were banging around/stomping around and moving furniture around until 12am, also had a neighbour walking up and down the verandah talking on the phone and could hear everything. No complementary water bottles (minimal complaint but would have been a nice to have). Some people had their dogs off leash around the property which I was not comfortable with, considering one of the dogs was reactive. My stay was great, only really was bothered by the rudeness and inconsiderate guests.

Apart from not being overly pet friendly, this is a lovely, tranquil resort. The rooms are large modern, very comfortable and relaxing. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The resort is located around 1.5km from downtown Mudgee, and there is a great level walking track into town. We had a good breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The resort is not overly pet friendly. We booked believing our dog would be welcome, but on arrival, we were greeted with a sign in the window that said: "No pets." While they honoured our reservation, we needed to pay an additional $80 for cleaning - bringing our total cost for the room to over $550 for the night! We were also given a long list of rules in relation to what we could/could not do with our dog making us feel a little uncomfortable.
