Beautifiully restored trooms and spotlessly clean. Family owned and run business and the care that they put in shows. Very close to town and across the road from the visitor information centre. The balcony upstairs is very nice for a wine and cheese following a spin around the wineries.

Location is on the junction of two main roads so traffic can be a bit noisy at peak hours if you are in your room at that time. The noise in the room isn't intrusive though. We were on the ground floor so probably the noisier than upstairs.

We loved our stay at the Parkview Hotel. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. The shower was huge and nice and hot. Coffee pod machine, bar fridge, toiletries and robes available. Coffee house downstairs was fantastic! We took our breakfast back upstairs and sat on the balcony in the sun outside our room. Friendly staff, daily room service and just a really beautiful building if you appreciate a mix of modern comforts and good architecture. Central to parks, wineries and shopping. Park, Arts Precinct and Visitors Information Centre across the road. Thank you for having us. Zoie and Ryan.

Some low level noise from trucks was noticeable of a morning but not enough to take away from this gorgeous place!

The hotel is in a great central location. The room was very spacious, comfortable and well appointed. It is on a busy street but there is soundproofing on all the windows which took care of the majority of the noise. Being able to sit out on the balcony at the end of the day with a lovely Mudgee wine was a welcome addition. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. The cafe downstairs was a great added bonus.

Only two really minor things stood out. Could have had a few more pieces of cutlery available in the room. I got takeaway on my second night and needed a fork. Its not something that really could be fixed but when checking out, you have to walk all your luggage and other belongings through the cafe downstairs.

We enjoyed the spacious top floor room with balcony, the bed was comfortable and the room was noise proof from the road traffic. The hotel also had a charming coffee house attached to it. An easy walk into town and to the river.

The coffee machine wasn't the best but not a deal breaker with a cafe conveniently located downstairs. Friendly service - allowing us a little extra time to vacate the room.

The room was well appointed in the style of the property, bathroom great and the location being 1 block back from the township and across the road from a beautiful park. Great upstairs veranda open to everyone with views over the park, nice outdoor furniture and an ice machine! Cafe in the garden area (not part of hotel) serving great breakfasts and coffee.

Being on the intersection of highways, there was some traffic noise, but the windows did provide significant noise reduction, so not really an issue unless you are a very light sleeper.

Excellent location, close to shops, parks and restaurants. The rooms are large, comfortable and spotless clean. Staff was friendly both before and during our stay, and the little cafe adjacent was a great plus.

The ground floor rooms get a little street noise. It did not bother us overnight, but something to be aware.

Good size room with table/chair and coffee/fridge area. Beds were very comfortable. Security was excellent. The upstairs verandah was nice to sit and relax. It was right opposite the information centre which was well worth a visit.

I would have preferred windows that open for fresh air and a closer cafe.

the rooms are well appointed and large. we stayed in Suite 1 and then Suite 2 and both were quiet nice. they both opened out to the absolutely gorgeous balcony! it was much nicer in Suite 2 though with the outlook over the cafe and more greenery. Having the cafe downstairs is a plus! The location is also unbeatable. close to town and other amenities with easy parking.

The Suite 2 can get noisy. if you’re wanting to sleep in it’s a little hard with the cafe music and the staff preparing for the morning with stools banging onto the brick floor and them chatting. as the hotel is on a busy roundabout and part of a major route, there was early morning traffic noise from large trucks.

Beautiful old building, decorated tastefully. Quality toiletries were appreciated. A standout for me was the clean smell of the towels and bed linen !

Position of property was great but this also comes with quite a lot of traffic noise - being a light sleeper didn’t help as well but would not stop me from coming again

What a gorgeous place to stay beautiful rooms stunningly decorated no expense spared they have a fully stocked fridge beautiful soap MOR from Melbourne just fantastic it was truly the highlight of our trip away we didn’t expect it and will certainly be back to enjoy it all over again and again thank you
