This survey is very difficult to answer with a rating system. When we got there the rooftop pool was under construction resulting in us not wanting to stay. We in fact were very upset. The staff was excellent. The young man at the desk offered our money back or a credit for food. The restaurant manager, Vinnie, totally changed our frustration. He has amazing customer service and impressed us so much that we decided to stay and want to return if nothing else to see Vinnie! The staff made all the difference in our stay.
The advertised rooftop pool was under construction and we were not informed before we got there. We paid for the advertised amenities and we were extremely upset. The room was clean and nice but very sparse if we wanted to use the kitchen. As I said above, the desk person offered to cancel our reservation but after an extremely long flight from the US and being unfamiliar with Sydney, we did not have the energy to rebook as well as suspecting it may be difficult last minute and the dates being over Australia days. We were too exhausted to try. I have to say Vinnie really knew how to reverse the frustration we had. As an employer, I was really impressed.

Excellent Location, right in front of the light rail, 2min walk to train station and 7min walk to circular key ferries. Spacious room for families. great value for money. No buffet breakfast however can pay for breakfast meals in restaurant for a reasonable price.
Stairs within the room. Only 2 steps but a hazard if travelling with babies. Requested a late checkout by one hour and were told it was an additional $30 per hour. Parking is a flat rate of $65 per hour at their carpark whether parking for an hour or overnight.

We were travelling with three kids aged 3-9yrs old and it was the perfect hotel experience for them! They were so excited and felt really fancy. The room catered perfectly to our family of five and being so central in location meant it was really easy for us to get around and find whatever we needed.
I'm honestly not sure. There was definitely nothing major that needed to be addressed. The only thing coming to mind was there was no plug for the kitchen sink but we just used the dishwasher anyway.

The room was large with a laundry set up which was great after a long day of traveling with 3 kids.
The building was under construction when we arrived and made it a little tricky to find the entrance but our taxi driver ensured the way before leaving. The pool was closed on the 18th floor but we were never informed so I dressed all the children for swimming, went to the 18th floor all to find out it was closed. 3 disappointed children and activities for the day cut short so we could swim left us in tricky situation.

Location in the city was great especially for transport links. The apartment lacked natural light and was very dark and quite dingy.as the neighbouring building was very close. An apartment is always good for a week long stay as we were able to eat in the room and also the washing machine and dryer were used. '

The location is excellent at George Street, moments from the train station direct from the airport. It is a short walking distance accessible to all the tourist spots including Sydney Harbour Bridge, Macquarie St, Royal Botanical Garden. Also to the supermarket and shops. Shower hot, bed comfy, staff friendly.
I was located on the second floor and stayed for 3 nights. Unfortunately from night two to three, there were road work outside the building late at night until passed midnight. The drilling was very noisy and we couldn’t sleep.

The Mantra 2 Bond Street hotel is perfectly placed as it's within a 10 minute walk to Circular Quay (ferries, Opera House, bars, restuarants and buses, trains and trams), Darling Harbour, shopping centres and the Theatre Royal. My apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. It was quiet and had a lovely view over George Street which is pedestrianised with just the light railway (trams). The staff were very friendly, answered all my questions and pointed me in the direction of the nearest supermarket (Coles, a 5 min walk away). Ignore the poor reviews, this place is excellent.

Great location. Right between the rocks, Wynyard Station, and Circular Quay. There is a tram station literally at the door that takes you down George Street. You're surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and cafes. There are heaps of transport options. The room was clean and comfortable and had free wifi.
We had a good stay, but if I have to state some things I didn't like about the stay: Our room had a view of a brick wall, it's fine, I guess someone has to right? Also parking was $60/day. Finally, the not a major issue, but the tap in the bathroom was too small so when you wash your hands, the water unavoidably goes all over the bench top.

Location was amazing, staff were very easy to deal with and halpful when we had an issue with our room. My daughter loved the pool/spa with a view and we loved having a handy base to return to through the day. View from the 14th floor was brilliant as well and we spent a lot of time staring at the surrounding city skyline.
Nighttime was a little noisy on the 2nd floor but we were also staying on Mardi Gras weekend so expected it wouldn't be a quiet night... The aircon broke on the first night also meaning a very warm sleep however the staff were very quick to move us into a new room in the morning and the new room was on a higher level meaning it was much quieter. Bathroom in the 2 bedroom apartment was a little cramped with the toilet being close to the wall but still very usable and not a huge issue.

The room was beautiful, really lovely decor. Bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. It was also very quiet, barley any street noise despite only being on the second floor. However the next apartments door closing and opening at 3am was a bit noisy. The location is great with lots of public transport options nearby.
There were some minor maintenance issue like the door frame above the main door was coming away from the wall, some wall paint near the wardrobe was chipped and poorly fixed. Only one of the TV remotes worked, however, the one that worked worked on both TVs which was good.
